Bought FS56 this summer.I have a small yard. Litterally 1 tank and it still has original Trimmer String from Factory. I run the same fuel in it as my Stihl Blower and Stihl Chainsaw and Husquvarna Chain Saw. It quit running and conviently it is a gas issue not covered under warranty. They want now $180 to repair a 2 month old $220 weedeater. So I now have a $220 yard ornament. Brought Chainsaw in for service, new chain and sharpen the old one. Chris said make sure the old got sharpened. I went to the back, got my stuff, and asked if the old got sharpened. She read the ticket and confirmed the old got sharpened. I looked and it had not. I went back to the front and Chris took it to the back to ask. He came back and said it had not been sharpened as it is beyond repair. I totally understand the chain has a life limit. I do not understand why she lied and told me it had been sharpened when it had not been. I have been a Stihl buyer till this FS56.Update 9/26: Joe the manager called me personally and appolgiezed for the whole mess. He said being that new a machine, it should have been handled differently. He took the Stihl Weed Eater back today, and is going to have it fixed under warranty as it should have been from the start. Where did Joe get his info, from this review. I left it as is for others to see what the original issue was and that they corrected it. Goes to show that he cares about his customers experience and his shops reputation. For that, I moved to 5 stars. Thanks Joe.

The young guy behind the counter never tries to look up a part. He said not enough numbers on model. Come home look part up on internet. Order it myself. This has happened three times. Will not go back.

While these boys arent as cheap as online shopping, I always leave with exactly what I need, hot fast and in a hurry. Usually have the part I need for my mower. Staff is helpful.

I called on a Thursday, took it there Friday, called to check on it Monday after I was told would probably be Monday only to be told they had 3 weeks of work. My problem is that they should have mentioned that on the phone when I called the first time. Everyone else I called it was the first thing mentioned. I had to make 2 unnecessary trips when I could have taken it somewhere else. Bad communications.

I recently upgraded my garden tractor and had a great experience here. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! In addition to the tractor I used to have yearly issues with my 2 cycle engines. I gradually replaced all 2 cycle equipment with Husqvarna and have had no issues for years.

Way overpriced at $42 just to look at a lawn mower

All the guys there at AOPE are very smart and helpful. I have had a problem with my equipment and the owner is doing the best to get that fixed but that isn’t his fault that is the brands fault. I will probably be using you again in the future. Thanks.

I hesitate to write this review because itll sound negative when its not really. Although the establishment is top notch, clean, provided superb service, I still eventually left disappointed. I needed a part to repair a mower. The difference in price on Amazon vs the stores supply was huge to the tune of $141 vs $20.99 on Amazon. Granted, the part sold in the store was a genuine Kohler branded part. However, the price difference was too big to risk spending the money. I could buy 6 on Amazon for less. This is not to say you should not shop here because it really is a great place. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I got the feeling they had most every part imaginable available. And the showroom was full of every kind of outdoor equipment imaginable. Check them out but compare prices and purchase risks before you buy.

I am very impressed with the management and customer service in this business. They sell top of the line equipment and stand behind their mowers, weed trimmers and blowers. Their repair shop does great work on keeping equipment in top shape!

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Waited in line for one of the people at the desk to become available and when one did I walked up to silence, not even a hello much less how can I help you. Needed a plug wire for a chainsaw but was simply told without the part number they could not help me because “ they have a million parts back there “. Someone too lazy to go flip through the “millions” of spark plug wires they carry for that one particular brand of chainsaw and help me find a match has no business in customer service. Either that or they didn’t wanna sell a part they wanted to charge me a shop fee for them to replace it on top of the cost of the part. Either way, this is exactly why small businesses are failing. I tried to support local during this hoax of a pandemic but was quickly reminded it’s not worth it. Here’s more of my money Amazon!

Very dishonest and rude employees. We were going to buy something from here and was told to be there at 5:30, we head that way and then get told we couldn’t come, that we had to come the next morning at 8 when they had other people coming as well. An hour later.. they “gave it away” to a friend. Don’t shop here, there are better places with better people working at them in Anderson!!

I have purchased a garden tractor and chainsaw from this shop so far. Fair pricing and finance options. Good selection of equipment in stock. Service department had a long backlog for a tractor repair but the mechanic was able to convince the manufacturer to cover a non-warranty item. Would prefer better hours to be able to stop by after work during the week or later on Saturday.

Had a great choice of lawn tractors and zero turn mowers. Customer service to discuss details were invisible.

I buy all my equipment here. Have it serviced here as well. Only drawbacks are price of new equipment and time it takes to get equipment serviced. Price for Lawncare equipment that works is always going to be high so I dont hold it against them. Great people, great equipment selections.

They never answer the phone.

I took my Stihl trimmer in for an idling issue. I was told that it would be ready in 2 weeks. After 2-1/2 weeks I called and was told that they have a 4 week backlog on RESIDENTIAL customers. I picked up the trimmer and will now go elsewhere. If you are a homeowner, just understand that their commercial customers come first.

I recently purchased a husqvarna mz52 zero turn from this place. 1 month later it starts shutting off do to a faulty seat safety switch. When i call to have them take a look and replace it i was told to first try wiggling the wires and switch and see if that works, and if so zip-tie it in place!! I couldnt believe he ask me to jerry rig A brand new mower I purchased with cash a month prior.. now fast forward 2 months, I take them the mower for a different problem brake lever replaced. And theyve had it 2weeks now!...Update.I got my mower back at about 3 weeks with the brake lever fixed but they didnt replace the seat switch and actually told me they knew nothing about it? It gets better, the owner Chad decided to ban me from this store because i wrote this review... in no way was the this review malicious. Just giving my own opinion on the service provided. So for now i Will have to drive 35mi one way for warranty work and parts.. I would never go to this place again shady service and poor ownership.

Way over priced. Went there to purchase a chain for my sthil chainsaw. They charged me $38 for the chain. I can buy the same chain at Rogers outdoors for $21. My first and only visit.

I was sold a Snapper riding mower by Chad. I payed $1000 dollars for the mower thinking it was a sound refurbished mower. Four months later it broke down and they want another $600 to fix it. Then they offered to buy it back for $400. I guess a fool and his money are soon parted. I am the fool.

I bought a weedeater, and within a month it started messing up, so I took it back. They wanted to charge me for something that should have been covered under Stihls warranty, and then tried to charge me almost 5 times as much for parts and labor. I took my weedeater to Rogers outdoor equipment, and they did me right. Rogers even went as far as upgrading the parts that went bad.

I took my lawn mower up to the Anderson store to get my blades changed and when I handed my lawnmower over with the work order and blades, the lawn mower mechanic was very rude and disrespectful and invaded my personal space and continued to throw threats at me. Wasnt the experience I was looking for.

Customer service was very bad. And pricing is outrageous.
