Really Rude, disrespectful and ignorant staff. Go to Rush or People ready!

RUDE! Do not recommend going through here. The worst temp agent I have ever tried to go through. My STORY:THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO WORK!! They are extremely unprofessional and I can see why they are consistently hiring and cannot keep people. I went through the temp agency, First Call in Anderson and I would find a different temp agency to go through because this place wasnt a great pick for someone who has job experiences, and a college education. The lady that presented the orientation this morning on 02-24-2020 was twenty minutes late. We sat out in a small room and had to be there by 8 oclock this morning all to sit there for twenty minutes. She was rude, rushing through everything and cussing every time she spoke a sentence. For someone whose never been to this plant or from out of the area, this isnt a way to represent your company or to keep employees. Then she treated all of us adults like we were high schoolers and made comments in the cafeteria, telling us, I wouldnt steal if I were you, there are cameras in here! Making assumptions about these new hires, like we dont understand common sense. We sat in the orientation room and it was about 9 oclock and she took attendance like we was in high school. Then she told all of us to power our cell phones off and no one was on their phone. I raised my hand, and she looked at me and ignored me, so I spoke anyway and told her, I am unable to shut off my phone because I am a single mom and I am the only emergency contact for my son. I asked her kindly if I could leave my phone on, but put it on silent and she said if I didnt turn off my phone, then I had to leave. I told her the staffing lady at the temp service told me we are able to have our phones on the floor, we just cant be on them and we have to have them silenced. She told me to leave and I said, Count me out, I have saw a lot of unprofessional things being done here already, and my son is my number one priority and hes only in pre-k and he comes first and foremost. I went and spoke to someone at the HR desk on my way out but they told me to take it up with the temp agency. VERY VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! If you are looking for a great factory with great benefits, go to the Spherion website and apply to work at Magna Powertrain in Muncie. Out of all of the factories I have worked for, Magna was really good to me, and I might go back at a later date. Dont even waste your time or gas to be working for a shady company who doesnt care about you as a worker. It was horrible from what all I saw this morning. Theres many jobs out there, and I wouldnt recommend this to my worst enemy. I hope that lady gets her karma because she clearly didnt have a heart or a soul for that matter. My son could have been bleeding too death and on his way to the ER for all I know.. God forbid that happen, but I will always have my phone on me for emergency purposes. I dont think she ever had a child, so she wouldnt understand, heartless POS. I hope they close their doors since they cant keep anyone.

Dont care about there employees, if you loss the job they gave you they will deferrer you for 1 year and they wont for you to be hired. I worked for them form sep. to July never got hired at GTI. so i lost my job over having missed days but some for a to work of your going to miss days when you have to misses over your kid when your a single parent and dont have family in the same town and4th day i missed an or was late fried an then first said the same for a year

Got me a great job my first day there

I went in put an app in took a drug test passed and was handed the job i ask for thank you 1st call you guys are the best ever way better than Surge and other staffing places Ive been to. Love you guys. The girls are always plight and do what they say they will!!!

First Call Staffing is a reputable staffing agency with staff that is knowledgeable and caring. After visiting other agencies employees often find the staff at First Call refreshing.

Im not sure of why so many bad reviews I needed a job and they found me a job in a timely manner

So went there did everything worked at a place which I got injured on and they dont care....they will be so quick to dump you as a client after one mess up...they do not care much about there people...and they said oh the company will get your paperwork go in the first day the company had not received nothing from them they slack on there job and do not help much...I would not recommend this place to nobody...

Did not even want to give this place a star this place sucks and thats whats wrong with the temp service thats why jobs now are not going to temp service because they cost to much and the temp service does not pay all that great. Yes but charging the companys more money i hope your places close down in the future im sure they will and sending people out to do jobs but if something happens like something thats not the persons fault but a mishap per say and was told could come back and not honor that is i know and you know temps are shady business and more and more companys are not going through them anymore and other reasons but nothing to do with temps services but im going to stick with the facts here i had proof of what happend in this case and did nothing wrong on my part a true mishap took it to this temp service was told to come back in one yr and would be ok cool that makes you liars and not loyal to the people that did nothing wrong and labeling people

I got sick at work and my manager sent me home at 7:20 a.m. I called in the next day because I was still sick and was called by first call to be fired! Have rent due, 2 kids, and probably going to lose my car. Thanks first call!

I accidentally put something wrong on my application and I even told her that is was a fluke, but she said we can not hire you because of it.
