Given the chip shortage, the car business has overwhelmingly become a sellers market, with many vehicles being sold before they can even get to the lot. I had went in and spoken with a few dealerships all promising to get a new car for my wife and I. Only one dealership delivered, Ralph Hayes!Cody, the inventory manager, took care of getting the details worked out, and Malek, our salesman, kept us in the loop and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a very simple process and as painless a it could be. They even managed to expedite the shipment of our vehicle! Jimmy, over in finance, was attentive to our needs and got everything straightened out with the DMV on our registration. We had issues with it, since we had just moved here from out-of-state.Overall, the experience was stellar, and I would recommend these folks to anyone looking for a new car.

I recently had a bad experience. I went to see what are the new available cars and see my options and the sales manager “Malek Hamzeh” spoke with me in a rude way. First, I didn’t like how he said: “you are going to buy this car today because I am giving you this deal”. After that I said I need time to think. And for four days that I was discussing with my family he kept sending texts and bothering us. In the fifth day he said you can’t have the car anymore, and when we spoke with his boss, he said the car is actually available with whatever deal you discussed before. At the end, the sales manager offends us with very cheap words.It is unfortunate for them because we were actually planning to buy the car and now we will go buy from another dealership.I feel bad about the other people working there though. One person who doesn’t know how to do his job mess up for the whole dealership; makes costumers run away from them instead of attracting them!

Huge thank you to the folks at Ralph Hayes Toyota for getting us back on the road safely. In late June we started a multistate round trip from the mid-Atlantic, down to South Carolina (Western and Eastern) and back home. Our check engine light came on early in our trip and you could tell our trusty Toyota Sienna was struggling a bit. I called Ralph Hayes just before closing and Johnny said he would relay my information to Brad who would be available in the morning to assess our car. We dropped the car off that night and Brad called first thing to let us know he would have someone take a look that morning. By 10:30 AM the issue was assessed and by 11:30 AM we were back on our way.Thank you to Brad and the service staff at Ralph Hayes for getting us safely back on the road among what was already a full schedule vehicles to service.

I went here to purchase a vehicle and was greeted and spoke with a very nice new car salesman. Then his mentor I guess came over and proceeded to treat me like an ignorant female. When I left then he contacted me after and the dealership refused to give me the details I was asking for on the financing etc. and was very rude and hung up on me. I do not recommend this place very bad experience

Very dishonest dealership. I test drove a 2021 Highlander and the salesman quoted a price of $48K when we first arrived. After the test ride, I asked if they could lower the price. (We all know the haggling process when buying a car). We went inside and he got info from us to take to his manager. Then he came back with a higher price, $51K and the reduction to $48K. The price on the internet was $48K. We told him he did not get a discount as he had quoted that same amount when we arrived. He said he would need for us to state a price we were willing to pay and he would see if they could do that. We don’t like the game playing car dealers do and told him that we were not going to haggle. We ask that he give us the bottom dollar he would take and again, he said we would have to make an offer. We walked out. I liked the vehicle and was ready to go to our credit union to get the balance after a $20K deposit. But I also have test driven another 2021 Highlander and a 2021 Lexus GX that I liked a lot. The dishonesty and game playing with Toyota of Anderson, SC cost them a sale today.

My review is for the service department. Your experience is largely dependent on who you get as your advisor and I will only see Johnny Thomas. He will actually tell me what I need and don’t need instead of trying to upsell me with random stuff. They’ve improved a lot in the past year or so with keeping you updated on your car while you wait. They also have a shuttle service that can take you home if you live nearby and don’t want to wait on-site. Getting your car serviced or fixed is never fun but I trust my car going here.

I went to this Toyota dealer knowing that I was going to buy a a vehicle. I met Scott and he made this a very seamless transaction. He was extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of the vehicles that I was looking into. He encouraged me to go to other dealerships if I didnt feel comfortable ...of which I did. And I ended up going back to Scott because his honesty and his integrity is what sold me on the vehicle. All the vehicles I looked at were similar but because of the interaction with Scott and his customer service and professionalism I decided to buy from Ralph Hayes Toyota. six months later Im still very happy with my vehicle and I know at any given moment I can pick up the phone and call Scott and hell have an answer for me. I would definitely recommend this company

Went in for an oil change before going out of town for vacation. The NEXT day, as we were leaving town we checked our coolant. It was COMPLETELY EMPTY. Its ironic that they tried to sell me 4 new tires and brakes but they DIDNT CHECK THE FLUIDS TO TELL ME THEY WERE LOW?!!!! Ive since added almost a gallon. Still the reservoir remained empty. It has overheated and left us stranded. Water is bubbling out in an unusual place. I dont trust Ralph Hayes Toyota. Dont take your vehicle there unless you want NEW PROBLEMS with your car!!!

I have never been treated so disrespectfully at any place of business, ever. I visited today (3/31) for a recalled airbag replacement. I made the appointment at 3:30 pm on Saturday, March 27th. The automated system from Toyota indicated that the replacement would take approximately one hour. Upon arrival, I was told it might take up to three hours. This was strike 1.I spent over 2 hours in nearby stores only to receive a phone call that the dealership DID NOT even have my airbags, despite the appointment being made days prior. Strike 2 was that they did not bother to be forthcoming about this from the beginning. Strike 3 was when they took this time to “inspect” and discover about $800 in “problems” with my vehicle without my consent. I am sure they would have ratcheted it up to $2,000 and/or tried to persuade me to purchase a new vehicle had I not given a hard no. I barely received any sort of apology. I wasted gas and valuable work time to receive nothing in return. I expected them to attempt to sell me something, but not for them to absolutely disregard my time like this. I am a very patient person, which is perhaps why they tried to take advantage of me in this way.Long story short, simply do not go to this place. If they are willing to do it to me, they will do it to you.

I bought a new Toyota Tacoma from Harry Stanley and Ralph Hayes Toyota of Anderson, SC. Our experience was outstanding. Mr Stanley is my definition of professional - knowledgeable, courteous, patient, thorough, credible (I know this is starting to sound corny, but I mean every word!). I wanted a truck with a specific set of options and he was able to find it. And then, when I changed my mind, he immediately switched to the new desires. He was focused on what I wanted and delivered what I wanted. Although I do not believe buying a vehicle can be completely relaxed, this was a very good experience and I left feeling good - and driving the vehicle I wanted.

This dealership wins the prize for one of my all-time worst customer service experiences. My company had my new car delivered to Ralph Hayes for pick up, and it took over two months for them to coordinate with fleet management. My calls to them went unanswered on most occasions as their usual answer was that the inventory manager wasn’t in or was with a customer. Voice mails were a waste of time since they were frequently ignored. There is not room for this whole story nor do I feel like wasting any more of my time or energy on rehashing it, but I am determined to at least contribute this one star review since it was certainly earned. I cannot fathom how they manage to accomplish anything with the level of disorganization, dishonesty, and plain old incompetence that I endured.

When I got to the dealership I was met by “Wiggles”. He was super nice and listened to what I wanted. He showed me several Tacoma’s and led me to one that I love. He offered to help me even after the sale by leaving his number and saying to call if I ever have questions. I drove from Simpsonville to Anderson and it was worth the drive!

I have tried to contact Toyota.com directly on internet search it keeps taking me Ralph Hayes and Toyota of Easley sites. It makes me wonder why Toyota doesn’t want anybody to contact them. I have tried several avenues to contact them online and they keep sending me to a dealership site. I don’t have anything say to the dealerships because they are the problem. The sales department seems to be the problem because they don’t want you to research the prices or incoming inventory. If you want to continue paying too much for a Toyota that’s your prerogative. I think they should be more transparent and quit trying to screw the public for their own gain. I will be researching other makes to find a company that doesn’t try to hide behind their pathetic values.

My husband and I bought a 2017 Toyota Tacoma which was brand new from Ralph Hayes. The truck has had both doors repainted around the windows due to chipping paint and a back taillight replaced at the back of the cab. The taillight leaked rain into the cab of the truck and the truck was apparently not painted correctly by the manufacturer. The dealership has payed to have these problems fixed but refuses to offer a car for me to drive while these problems are being fixed on a truck that we are still making payments on monthly. I just went three days without a vehicle to get back and forth to work while the passenger door was being painted. I was told that they could provide a car for me to drive for $35 a day. If a brand new truck must be repaired and it is a clearly Toyota’s bad workmanship , should the customer not be provided with a car to drive for the inconvenience?

I changed my rating due to the experience I have had with them now. It started at the first oil change with the seatbelts. The seatbelts lock up on me if I lean forward to change to air flow or just adjust in the seat. They said they could do nothing about it. Then they tried to charge me for my fourth oil change even though I had five free oil changes. Now I find out I cant get my clear paint fixed because it had a warranty that I need nothing about. Guess they didnt check it when I was in for oil changes and their inspection of the truck. If it had a warranty on it shouldnt they have been checking it to make sure it was not bubbling up.

Our sales person, Mike Simpson, was nothing short of spectacular. We found the car we wanted online and Michael greeted us when we got to the dealership and walked us through the purchase. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle there was no back in for like do you normally deal with when purchasing a car. Scott Brown was exceptional 5 stars isnt enough to rate him properly I need 10 stars to rate his service. He was very attentive, helpful, and listened to and answered all my questions and did not pressure me into anything. I went in with low expectations on what kind of vehicle I could get into with my budget and walked out in a 2020 Tacoma which is more than I had ever imagined. He worked hard to get all the financing in a place that fit my budget without making me compromise on a vehicle. I would not hesitate to recommend Scott Brown and at Ralph Hayes Toyota to anyone, actually I have already told three people about my excellent experience and to go see Scott when they were ready to get into a better vehicle. I know I will be going back to see Scott Brown next time myself or my family needs a vehicle. The business manager Jimmy Dochney and the rest of Ralph Hayes was excellent and I really enjoyed my experience at the dealership they really did a great job.

Harry got me a GREAT price on my new 2019 Corolla. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.Three months later... I stand by the statement above. I had an outstanding sales and finance experience when I purchased my Corolla and the reduction in stars has absolutely NOTHING to do with the sales and finance staff. The sales and finance staff deserve the five stars they originally got (and are the ONLY reason there are still two).That being said, I took the Corolla in for the first service this past Friday. I have had trouble with the auto dimming headlight feature. The Toyota Certified technician just put on the invoice that the vehicle is not equipped with auto dimming headlights and is operating as designed. Ive been driving the car for three months and I assure you it has the feature and it is not operating as designed. In my opinion there are only two reasons the technician would say the car doesnt have the feature, laziness or incompetence. The service advisor even came out and verified the feature is in fact on the car and tried to make excuses for himself and the tech. After this experience, unless significant changes are made, I couldnt recommend the service department at Ralph Hayes Toyota to anyone and do not feel they can be trusted with the second largest investment in my life.

I have ALWAYS dreaded buying cars/working with car salesman..... NOT ANYMORE and I 100% mean that! Last June I bought a brand new RAV4 at Ralph Hayes Toyota ... I soon after became a foster mom and knew I needed a third row. I called all around talking with car salesman to see if Id be able to trade my RAV4 in for something bigger with a third row but I didnt want my monthly payments to increase too much. Most of the car salesmans that I spoke too laughed (not anyone at Ralph Hayes) and said either I would have to put a ton of money down because I had so much negative equity or go up quite a bit in payments in order to make this happen. I finally gave up and a few months later as I was getting my free oil change done at Ralph Toyota Hayes I said oh what the heck let me just try ONE more time ..... And thats when I found JASON MULIKIN!!!! Yes I capitalized his name so that you dont forget it! I told him about my situation and I was able to trade in my RAV4 (by the way they gave me more for my RAV4 than anyone else would have based off the estimates I was given) and consumed the majority of my negative equity and I walked out a few hours later with a highlander! I told him how much I could go up in monthly payments and they made it happen! Fast forward to a month later I found out I was pregnant which was very unexpected and I needed to trade in my highlander for a van due to the Highlander not having anchors in the third row to accomadate a third car seat thus nullifying everything I have done so far in car purchases. I texted Jason to let him know my situation once again and that I needed to find a van. I hoped that I could trade in my highlander for a Sienna but there was NO way I could go up in monthly payments. And guess what? Jason made it happen! I could not even believe it. I thought for sure there was no way I could get out of another difficult situation. Most would think I lost thousands of dollars due to driving a brand new car off the lot but somehow I DID NOT due to him helping me. He truly is THE BEST! If youre scared of buying a brand new car use Jason because if your mind or current situation changes he will help accomadate you. Not to mention he is HONEST and he cares! *** I also want to give jasons supervisor .... Rob Schaub a huge shout out for working behind the scenes and making this happen for my family. I recently purchased a vehicle from them and my experience couldnt have been better. It was the first time I financed a vehicle, also first time buying a car from a dealership. My previous cars I had bought them from a private seller.I asked them not to put too many inquiries on my credit report as many dealers tend to do. Also I had a pre-approval with one bank so I told them what kind of interest rate I was looking for. They respected my request. They got me a very good rate and put me on the monthly payments I wanted to be at.I started looking for a car a few weeks ago. I was considering changing jobs so I was going to need a newer vehicle for was I was intending to do. So I submitted a couple of inquiries to some dealerships, but this car was my favorite. I ended up not changing jobs, so I didnt really need to change cars. I started talking to Rayla Simmons about what I was looking for in this deal to make it happen. She was very patient and worked with me for some weeks. We agreed on terms and now I cant be more satisfied with the purchase.Another issue we encountered was that I live in GA and work Monday through Saturday. So Sunday was my only day off. As they were closed that day, she arranged everything so I could have both the car and paperwork delivered to my work place. SWEET!I highly recommend this dealership. Rayla is great. Ask for her anytime. Shes very responsive, nice and diligent. Shell make it happen for you. ZERO STARS! I have purchased 2 cars from Ralph Hayes in the past couple of years and was about to purchase a 3rd this week. Multiple staff members lied to me and made false promises. When reported to the GM, he spent more time defending his staff than trying to make things right. They refused to sell to me when I called them out for trying to overcharge me for a skirting kit which I was quoted 3 different prices for. I received a quote from another Toyota dealer which was $2000 less than what Ralph Hayes was trying to charge me. I had texts to prove the conversations but the GM still made excuses. They lost a $40,000 sale over a couple thousand dollar skirting kit they did not want to sell me. They encouraged me to purchase aftermarket parts instead. So disappointed and will never return. Can NOT be trusted to be honest.

I have dealt with car dealerships twice. Once was to fix a Honda Pilot recall issue. I scheduled the visit and they told me up front to drop it off and that they’d call me when it was finished. The other time was bringing my truck to Ralph Hayes Toyota for a standard oil change. I called and gave them my info and everything was fine up until I brought the truck to the dealership. I asked for an estimated time that the truck would be finished to which an associate replied 45 minutes to an hour. That was a little long for my taste, especially since I scheduled the oil change, however I understand.In no way, shape, or form is it acceptable for a scheduled oil change to take over 2 hours and 50 minutes. I know the oil change itself wasn’t 3 hours. The question I beg is why there was even a need to schedule it if it was going to take almost 3 hours. While some folks may not value their own time, I value my time very much and personal plans were schedule around the time it would take to get a standard oil change. I am quite unhappy with the amount of time this experience took. I love the associates and they were kind and very helpful. Maybe it’s an issue with the scheduling software Ralph Hayes uses or with being short staffed. I’m interested to know if I need to allot 3 hours each time I need an oil change. I got an oil change at a shell station one time and it took 15 minutes so I know the oil change doesn’t take long but maybe Ralph wanted me to enjoy the interior of his dealership for over two hours. There is also no way that the 15 or whatever-point check took that much time either. The couches were very nice and I could tell the tile was made of premium material, but I didn’t need 3 hours to enjoy it.

I had my mind set on the exact model and color Tacoma when I went to meet with Misty Johnson. Misty let me test drive both a 4 cylinder and a V6. I had never even considered a V6 prior to the test drive. I knew when I drove the V6 it was the best choice for me. I was never pressured to buy any particular truck. Every question I asked Misty I got HONEST answers. In the past, other dealerships seem to have given generic answers to questions I asked. I wasnt crazy about the wheels that were on the truck I liked. Ralph Hayes changed the wheels to the ones I wanted and then I had the perfect truck.

Was just done horribly wrong by Ralph Hayes Toyata. Went there to have my car serviced. It had 11,000 miles and was told that my 2020 CHR had a bad Camber which is a screw that deals with the Alignment of the vehicle. I Asked was it covered under warranty and was told NO. He said that it would cost $79.So I told the Gentlemen that I would get a second opinion. Meanwhile I wait and sign for the car I get my paperwork receipt and noticed that the so called part wasn’t on the paperwork. I asked if he could highlight the problem so that I can look future into it. This is where I catch him in his SCAM. After I get into asking him more concerning questions,then he admits that I do have warranty 12,000 or up to 1 year. Immediately I’m very disappointed and unhappy. My Question to them is that I have something wrong with my car such as a suspension problem. Why would you allow me to drive my car away being unsafe and try to charge me to fix it. All I’m saying is never have your car serviced at Ralph Hayes. They might be the cause of your death.

I had such a wonderful experience here while purchasing my Toyota Rav4! I specifically worked with Joe Gant and he was so helpful. I came in knowing what kind of car I wanted, and Joe made sure to get me in the right one. The specific car I wanted (exterior, interior color) was not in stock at the dealership, and Joe worked quickly to make sure I was taken care of. Within a week, he got the car to the dealership, and I am the new proud owner of a Rav4. Had been searching for a TRD Pro 4Runner all over the web when I saw the perfect one at Ralph Hayes Toyota. I was fortunate enough to deal with Jason Mullikin. He was a pleasure to deal with. He was knowledgeable, trustworthy and to the point. I ended up spending about 1 hour during the negotiations and then we came to a deal. I had a very good experience at Ralph Hayes . its like all other Toyota dealerships very clean and updated nothing special about the place. What made buying my new truck a pleasure was the salesman Scott and the finance manger Sorry I dont know his name. Scotts knowledge of the truck line was impressive you could tell he had done his homework. He gave me the information i needed without all of the sells pitches that you get at most places. He allowed me to buy my truck and not be sold a truck. I found the truck cheaper at another dealership but bought it at Ralph Hayes because of Scott. The finance Manager was a joy to talk with not over the top trying to sell add ons but explained all of the options that were there for me. He could not have been any better to work with. He knew his job very well and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my truck for years to come. I could have bought the truck at any dealership but the people I worked with there was the reason Ralph Hayes got my business

This was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had especially since I was coming fro out of state. I called ahead after finding the vehicle I wanted online and Rayla jumped right on it with sending me the info that she needed on my trade. When I arrived at the dealership, they already had all of my paperwork ready to go. All I had to do was test drive and sign. I worked with Crash Wiseman and he was AWESOME!! I have purchased 2 Camrys in the past couple of years and was going to purchase a 3rd. The 3rd time was not a charm. They are not honest. They do not try to get you what you want. They will make you think they are getting you what you want. They told me several different stories about fog lights. Said they were not an option for the 2020, then said they were being installed, then said they ordered the wrong ones, then said they were on back order but would be in on wed and installed, then GM said on back order and not sure when coming in. They gave me different stories about ordering me a skirting kit. Said they couldn’t. Then on a wed they said they could and it was quoted to be around $1000 and said it would be in and installed by sat. Then apparently only part of the skirting kit was ordered. When asking (Rayla) questions about the skirting kit and confirming what was ordered, she stopped responding. Rayla was who my contact was for ordering the car. Instead of being honest about ordering the wrong parts, they just kept making excuses and trying to deter me from getting the skirting kit. They encouraged me to get aftermarket parts instead of parts they sell. We dealt with Ryan who said he would get us the skirting kit. He had Rayla taking care of ordering the parts I wanted. Then once Rayla stopped responding we dealt with Paul. He changed the price to $2100 then to over $2900 for the skirting kit. I priced the skirting kit with a other Toyota dealer and it was $1132. When questioning the price, I got no where. Paul just wanted to know where I got the prices. He at least offered to cover the fog lights and black overlays. When reporting all the lies I was getting told and the poor customer service to the GM, he took up for his staff. He didn’t try to find a solution. He just kept making excuses for all their mistakes and all the diff things we were being told. We were never sent any kind of breakdown of prices or specifics about the car even though he said we did. This process started a couple weeks ago and we didn’t even know the cost of the car until 2 days ago. He claims to have read texts saying they did not purposely lie to me. I saved the texts also. He just said well they just didn’t know bc no one has ever asked for the parts I was asking for. The finance manager Misty told us we were valued customers when we told her we were just going to walk away after how we had been lied to. She said she would contact the owner and would be back in touch. When she did not get back In touch the next day my husband called and could not get her. Finally after a few calls, the GM, Davey answered and told my husband that he told her to refund our deposit since I wasn’t wanting to pay $3000 for the skirting kit. Later that day I called a diff Toyota to order the same car I had ordered from them and it did not show up in the database as being at Ralph Hayes Toyota so I believe they sold the car rather than dealing with me and getting me the extra things I was requesting. I paid a deposit to get the car there. Not like I wanted anything for free. I just wanted honesty from the staff and honest pricing on the kit. I cannot believe how dishonest and disloyal the staff was this time. I took my business to Dave Edwards Toyota and received honest and excellent service.

I will not recommend anyone to go here! My Camry failed an oil consumption test and because my car was under a 150k at that time Toyota had to replace the engine block on their costs. In the beginning they where trying to hide it that they are responsible for the costs. In the beginning they where discussing with us about what the costs will be to replace the engine block but then we did some research on Toyota’s website and it came out that they are responsible for the payment’s if your car had below a 150 000miles. When we showed them it on their page they had a different story. After they have replaced the engine block they pointed out all the other problems with the car. The also said that my strut mounts are done and needs to be replaced. They quoted us just over $2000 for new struts. It’s very unusual for a 2009 model struts to be worn out so quick. I took the car to two different Toyota dealerships and both of them said that there is nothing wrong with my Camry’s strut mounts. They also keep on phoning me and say that they are willing to buy my Camry because it’s in great condition? How can it be in great condition if they pointed out all the issues with the car and said that it’s better to get rid off and that it is just going to cost me more money. I will definitely never recommend anyone to ever get their car fixed at this dealership.

Dont purchase a vehicle from Ralph Hayes. Not only did I get a bad financing deal. (I so called bought a cheaper interest rate. They added 2500.00 to the price of the vehicle for a 2.9 interest rate only for my credit union to finance the vehicle a month later for 1 percent cheaper rate) Ralph Hayes dealership refused to refund the 2500.00 and blamed Toyota financial who knew nothing of the dealings of the transaction ) Now my transmission has gone bad with only 73,000 Miles on my Camry. They say the warranty expired at 60,000 miles.

Also at the new pre-owned building they arent wearing their masks property, the desks are dirty with empty water bottles, and they arent social distancing all with them sitting on top of each other on a bench playing with their phones.

Ralph Hayes had 2 Tacomas that I wanted to look at. I came in with the intention to make a purchase. I was prepared to spend 4-5 hours getting everything wrapped up. We had just started the process of looking to purchase a new car. We had shopped at other dealerships before we stopped at Ralph Hayes Toyota. Our salesperson Jonathan G. was one reason we ended up buying from Toyota. He was knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, respectful of our time, and was not high pressure. The second reason we bought from Ralph Hayes was the rest of the staff at the dealership. Since we were trading in a car, the sales manager came over and introduced himself before going to look at our car and give us a trade in value. That did not happen at the other dealerships. Jonathan, who sold us the car, was not going to be working the next day, but he made sure he went through all of the features of the car, helped to set up the Bluetooth and the Toyota apps, and made sure we would be all set to pick up the car the next day. The staff the next day were extremely friendly (and it wasnt even their sale). There are many dealerships where you can buy a car, but not very many dealerships can make you feel welcome and respected. Those are the perks of buying with a family owned business such as Ralph Hayes Toyota.

I asked Beth Wilson over and over bout a 2014 Silverado and she said over and over we could get it I have it on text messages. When we finally get there they give us the keys and let my wife drive it just to tell her she couldnt get it. The truck had 238000 Miles on it couple dents. But I was still willing to pay for it cause my wife wanted it.. they are liars and bad people the management and all would not recommend to anyone.

The cars were very nice however I would not recommend going to the Toyota of Anderson, the Sales man and the manger were very rude and aggressive, i was looking at the Toyota Hybrid and decided it wasn’t for me because I felt it was a little too big and I couldn’t see over the hood very well because I’m a smaller person. The man insisted on going inside to talk about it and I told him I wanted to look at some other cars at the Kia place, he was very rude and bashed Kia and all the people who worked there, I walked out and was told I was making a mistake and I was too young to understand a good car. Couldn’t be happier with my Kia.
