At todays visit at the 81 location in Anderson, SC my Zips speed pass failed to work due to my account being “deactivated” though my credit card has still been charged as recently as two days ago. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t too impressed due to the fact I’ve had this account for many years for two vehicles. Though frustrated the manager, Ken was very patient and professional. My immediate response was just to cancel our monthly passes and move on to another local car wash company but due to great Ken’s customer service I decided to re-setup our account and stick with Zips. That said, I visit the 81 location frequently. The 81 location is quite a bit further from our home than the Clemson Boulevard location. The CB location over the last year has seemed to be struggling. The vacuums there, when working have little to no suction and they are routinely out of towels and spray. The 81 location seems to always be on top of their game without any downsides. Would love to see the CB location get up to par with 81. I appreciate Ken’s assistance today and he deserves to be recognized.

The only thing negative if you want to call it negative about Zips is that it stays busy! The only reason why it is because it is an awesome car wash with Membership which I have when you can go Unlimited. It is worth the monthly fee!

I love their washing system. But because my card got closed and I forgot that I had it on auto payment, they wont give me my offer again.

The manager on duty was very courteous and helping me with promotional cards. He was only one on duty and handles the situation very well. This happened on Wednesday Aug 4th 2021.

Im disappointed in Zips.. They knocked off the package i had and put pur package at a basic car wash.. When we started going to zips it was at a nice price for the services. Now its changed again and a basic car wash is 20$ month per car..the package we had is now 30$ a month per car.. So we cancelled and said hell with it.. Ill wash my own cars for now.. A new place is opening on Clemson Blvd.. So maybe theyll have something better

The best car wash. The unlimited monthly service is a great deal. I go almost every week. The Zips on Hwy 81 dries my car better than Clemson Boulevard.

Got the zips pass a while ago, it is definitely worth it. Wash my car every week!. But I will say theyre are lots of zips in the upstate and this one on 81 is the best of them all. The wash it self is much newer and has the ceremic wax. If you want to go to one go to this one.

I think it is excellent how the car is washed there but you have to be aware of the vans that have snorkels or other accessories

I must say that even though I had to go through the hassle of replacing a rim, Zips really helped out and did their part. My wheel was ruined after a visit and instead of not doing anything about it even though they have signs posted saying, not responsible they completely covered the cost. It was so quick and I didnt have any issues with them taking care of the replacement.

GREAT PLACE! Zips locations offer great service while providing a fun experience. Their monthly packages are priced competitively and prove to keep your car clean. As long as you visit twice in a month the Unlimited Membership pays for itself.. and then some!

I love zips on 81. They’re always super helpful, they move quickly and effectively. There’s always someone cleaning or available for any questions or help you may need. I got multiple times a month and have a monthly membership that pays for itself by the 3,4, and even 5 time I go.

Nice car wash, ran efficiently, and has free vacuuming. However you cannot access the vacuums without paying to get your car washed first and is supposed to be for only 10 mins, which is why I rated four stars (I really just wanted to vacuum my car today).

Great interior tools at your disposal. If you buy the monthly wash package and can use it often (at least once/wk), its a great deal for you (nice wash, great vacuums/blowers, nicely maintained clean damp microfiber towels, and glass cleaner). I would give them 5 stars for their packages used at least once/week. However, for vehicles that you do not wash as often, you may be disappointed with the wash as this fully automated system doesnt clean the back of some vehicles, under door handles, or bugs on front well at all. If your vehicle really needs that wash, expect to do a lot of wiping by hand afterwards to get the residual dirt off. If you are not comfortable with that, concerned about scratching your paint, etc, you may want to wash it somewhere else that is cheaper before you come here.

The tire wet isnt always consistent but the concept is a great value and i love the free towels and vacuum!

Seems like every time I go, the price is higher. No more early bird specials, and to my knowledge, they never offered senior discounts. Wash is ok--dryer could do better. I do like that the attendant does a sort of pre wash, and I like the suction power of the vacuum.

When car wash opened they offered unlimited wash for $40 ish dollars I signed up and have received good service until recently. I was told Monday they no longer use wash brushes to hand wash the rear of vehicle. And today 15 min before closing all the VAC hoses are removed. Hey 28 Anderson SC. And Im being debt for service I dont receive any long for same price.

Zips of Anderson is great! My wife and I got the premium packages, her more the vacuum, and me for the look! I go by almost every day on my way home and its also a great de-stressor to have to do a little work (cloths, vaccum, detail) yourself! Thanks Zips on Gville St. / Hwy 81 Anderson. - JW

I like both locations, but prefer the one on 81 because of the air guns (good for getting dirt/dust out of cracks where vacuums dont work) also, somehow the wash seems to work better at this location.

I am a student at Anderson University so I was excited to see a nice car wash fairly close to the school. Like most college students I am also broke so getting my car washed isn’t a priority, however my car got pretty bad and thought it was time. The staff and the actual car wash is fine, however the vacuums must be clogged or something because they sucked! The larger vacuum I actually had to take someone else’s trash and receipts out because it was blocking the airway. It barely picked up the crumbs and dust in my car. The smaller vacuum didnt even work at all. Also there were towels but no spray of any kind. I believe that the wipes might have been damp from some product but personally I prefer a spray so harder to get places I can really try to lift and clean. Also, the rims on my car were still covered in mud. I understand that some mud can stick inside the creases of the rim, but there was obvious easy to reach mud all inside. I’m going to have to finish cleaning my car once I am home which is frustrating because I paid so much to do it at this location (poor student remember). The one positive I found about this place is that there is a mat cleaner which works really nicely and I guess since my mats are nice it can cover what poorly of a job the vacuums did on my actual carpet. Probably will not be returning unfortunately.

Fast and easy, but I always leave feeling like my car isnt as clean as it should be. Even with more premium wash options its just not as good as many other car washes. Ill continue to come for touch ups, but for a deep clean go elsewhere.

Great service for the car

Clean, everything works well and they have some great employees here. Ive had an unlimited membership for about three years; recently, its become so busy that it takes 20 minutes waiting in line just to get to the wash tunnel. And thats mid week, off peak times. Im glad the business is doing well, but I hope they will balance doing well with manageable lines. Lately I just keep going when I see the line backed up to the street.

I really miss snappy. Since zips bought them out service and speed have dropped dramatically. Staff just doesn’t seem to care. It’s really a shame was a great wash before.

They car wash is good, my car was actually clean unlike some of the other drive through car washes. And the vacuum had great suction unlike some other car washes.

It feels like the staff should do a little more than just mist the bumpers when you pay for the bigger packages. I love the car wash itself. Just wish the initial staff were a little more intentional when they treat tires and bumpers prior to sending cars though the wash.

Best car wash ever... Period. Quick and easy, I do the monthly plan for my car washes. All I have to do is pull up, it automatically scans the windshield thingy, opens the gate without having to roll my window down.

For a automatic car wash its not too bad if you dont mind tell drawing and vacuuming your car yourself.

Normally I have never had an issue coming here to get my vehicle cleaned, however this time, I brought my Jeep after going mudding. And most of the mud had already come off before we even got there, so there was barely any mud left. Yet, we were turned away because our vehicle had “too much mud” and that it was a liability to them. If it is a liability issue to allow vehicles with some mud on them to go through the car wash, it should be clearly posted as such, so that consumers do not waste their time waiting in line just to be turned away. There is literally nothing posted about muddy vehicles not being allowed, regardless of the amount of mud.

Best rags for wipedown

The Hwy 81 location is better than Clemaon Blvd in my opinion. The only thing better about Clemaon Blvd is that their tire shine looks better than the Hwy 81 location.

Good car wash for the price

The carwash left god awful streaks on my car and they dont wash the microfiber towels so my car has smudges everywhere I used the towel. Definitely lost my business for good.

Nice car wash. Dryers are too powerful as I hear my roof literally pop in and back out. Concerned for my paint finish.
