Perx is by far the best (and maybe only?) full service car wash in the Anderson area. Even their cheapest exterior-only wash option ($7.99) includes towel wipe down service. Tipping isnt required but encouraged -- so be generous. Its also nice to support a local business that has been serving Anderson since the 1950s. My only quibble is that Perx takes a daily lunch break between 11:30am-12pm, which is when many folks leave work to wash their cars. Highly recommended.

For the price this car wash does not clean the auto completely. Greenville car wash cleans door jams, truck and hood jams for the same price. Perx didnt wipe down the seat trim windows were smeared. Just a low rate cleaning.

09/03 2021Over time the quality of the wash and drying process continues to diminish greatly.Streaky windows, side view mirror not done at all, tar spots not removed, empty water bottles left on floor, motor running post wash detailing, door jams not wiped clean. Ill stop there.

I go every week to get my car washed and cleaned. Every week I go it’s not to my perfection. The vacuum workers only vacuumed the mats and not under them. Didn’t vacuum under the seats. My car has smears all over it. And my seats still had dirt on the back of them where my kids put there feet. I want be going back. I tried to be a supporter

We thoroughly enjoy this car wash today. They were very nice and even told us Merry Christmas when we left. I am a caregiver and my client said the man working the register was a good looking man too young for her but she enjoyed the view. Afterwards we went down the road to get a steak sandwich at Bojangles. They were closed for lunch until 12 p.m. so we went to Krispy Kreme and got donuts and coffee. A regular car wash with $16, they clean and done a good job. We travel all the way from Belton just to get the perks of perx.

After 20 years of taking my vehicle to Perx I won’t be coming back. Total lack of detail and attention. Seems like turnover and lack of training has really affected workmanship of this business. Third straight time that I have been recently only to have clean up myself on what they missed.

I already had a bad experience here before and swore the place off but I recently had surgery and cannot clean my own car. I figured if I got the most expensive one it should be fine. It wasnt. I might as well throw $25 in the trash. All they did was drive it through a wash and clean my mats. I wish I could get my money back.

Perx Car Wash, located on East Greenville Street in Anderson, South Carolina gets a middle of the road review from this reviewer. I have used them several times, mainly because of the lack of other choices. The do an adequate job. But not very thorough. I expect my car to be completely cleaned, with some level of detail when I pay $20 plus for it. They do have a nice lobby area, with ample seating while you wait, both inside and out!

Staff is always friendly from beginning to end. They do a great job too. New car clean when they are finished.

Got the ultimate car wash. Hoped for more since I paid $24 and half of it is a machine doing the work.

Took my truck on June 18th and got the $26 ultimate wash and wax while running errands, and noticed something had turned my aluminium rims white. I took it back and a manager said the crew told him they rembered my truck and it was super dirty. He tried to say it was the brake dust causing them to turn, but I know it doesnt. He ran my truck through again and the rims were worse the second time. He took pictures to email the owner, and got my name and number, saying he would contact the owner and get back to me on Monday the 21st. He never called me, so I went to Walmart and got rim cleaner and polish to fix the issue. Not going to use Perx again, Ill start detailing it at home.

Always a great staff. I always ask for no tire shine and it always does passenger side every time... Other than that its always a good experience and very reasonable.

Ive been living in Anderson for almost 5 years now, and this is the best car wash here.

I pulled up to have my car washed on the outside and told the attendant I wasn’t familiar with them so I was being rushed and they were just rude I told them what I wanted price wise and the marked windshield and taped up placards and handed me a paper.. only told me to pay when I got out .. so I’m pulling up watching for attendant that’s on my right and I’m pulling towards here car wash area when two of the workers start hollering stop.. I stopped and one came to window going you was supposed to stop back there did you not awe the big stop sign.. well no I was looking at the attendant that was waving me thru.. so after an exchange and just not really happy dealing with sarcastically smart attitude I told them never kind and left..

Van looks good and clean on the outside from first appearance but the inside not so much.Door storage area were not cleaned or wiped out. Windshield and inside of drivers door was not dried completely.....

I got the 25$ wash and gave a10$ tip. Only to find many missed dirty spots on the inside of the doors, the edges of the windows were dirty and the passenger side mirror was folded in. So I was not able to see the lane beside me too move over. This is not the only time my car was not cleaned well.

Poorly cleaned. Completely missed wiping our 2nd row of suv, did not wash rear 2 mats. Just a quick wash and sorta vacuum is what you will get for $30. Called to let them know their workers were not doing their job well and she didnt care and hung up the phone. Probably tired of hearing it.

I came here and the gentleman who sits out at the greeting booth was extremely nice. My problem is that I paid for a exterior and interior wash but the interior looked the exact same as when I brought it in. The cup holders were dirty still and I have a son who’s left some milk stains on my seats. I was hoping they’d clean them but no. The obvious milk stains on my, very easy to clean, leather seats were still there. It didn’t even looked like I had gotten my car cleaned. I heard a lot of great things so this visit was a huge disappointment.

Love this place. I dont take my car anywhere else. They clean the car inside and out while you just sit back and watch. For what they do you cant beat the price.

I paid $24 for the best car wash package offered. I got the car back and all the bugs on the ledge behind the back seat were all still there. The trunk had not been cleaned or vacuumed at all, so I had to do that with my shop vac. The bird and bug turds on the windshield were still present. I think next time Ill go to a self service for $3.

Spoke with the man at booth requested exterior and interior cleansed specifically requested armor all inside , was told this was in the $24 package. My interior was not cleaned!! No armor all! I has to ask worker for cleaning cloth to wipe down my dashboard! Then was told they never use armor all in th inside!! Also no car freshener!

Wont be going back. Went for the first time a few months ago and was very happy with the service. Got busy, moved, etc and took an extra dirty car to them a of weeks ago. They did ok. I didnt complain because I realized how dirty the car was going in, and Id only paid for the basic wash. My husband took my car again today, the car needed a wash, but was far from being filthy going in. He paid for the ultimate wash, and the car he brought home looked like a car Id run through the automatic car wash myself and then shined the wheels and tires. There were still dead bugs on the front and windshield, obvious dirt behind the door handles, the backs of the mirrors looked like they hadnt even been touched, the back hadnt been wiped out or vacuumed, the door jams had not been wiped and the dashes had only been wiped down with a dry cloth so they were still dirty as well. Upon further inspection, we realized it didnt look like the passenger side of the car had been touched at all. When I mentioned that to my husband he said he was starting to pull away when they stopped him and told him they wanted to touch up the right side wheels, they did the Touch up and sent him on his way. In other words, they hadnt done that side of the car at all, but it was only blatantly obvious by looking at the wheels. I just spent 20 minutes finishing my own car, and my husband took his truck to the self serve wash. Save your money and dont take your car here unless something changes. I didnt realize until now that I could add pictures to this review or I would have snapped some before we finished cleaning the car.

Everyone was super nice. There was still a lot of dirt on the floor boards. Wish it was vacuumed better. Otherwise everything else seemed good.

My mom took her car in today to be cleaned and it looked like they hardly did anything. When this was pointed out to them they said the dirt was so embedded in the carpet they couldnt get it out. She proceeded to wipe it off easily, and when they brought the vacuum out it got it right up. They were rude when she brought this up stating if you use your car like an old truck, its going to look like an old truck. We understand the car wasnt going to look perfect, but it looked like no one even tried and the service was awful. Our family will not be going back.

Nice exterior wash, but interior cleaning was severely lacking.

I just paid 13 $ for a car wash and when I was done to vacuum my vehicle. It barely wash my truck. Im better going to a place and with it myself..will not return

Moving from a larger city to a smaller one has its disadvantages including getting a decent car wash. Perx really is the best place to go in Anderson but that’s not saying much. The workers don’t really seem to be be trained on the details of car washing. There’s always dirt left behind, especially in the nooks and crannies such as the gear shift and side door compartments. They don’t adequately wipe the windows and the trunk/hatch of my SUV rarely looks well vacuumed. I come here because the HOA in my subdivision doesn’t allow car washing. So it’s like, no choice really. Perx is best of the worst.

I don ‘t know what’s going on here, but ... had to beg them to clean the bugs off the windshield; one “swipe” with a towel to clean inside windows; no deodorizer; no dashboard cleaning; price now up to $26 plus tips (front and back). So sad to see the quality so deteri!

Extremely disappointed with the service. I paid for the full service the first time and my car was still dirty inside. I went a second time to give the place a second chance and it was no better.I have posted pictures right after the wash so you guys can see what an awful job was done. Please go to Photos > All and view the photos posted under my name. Nothing inside seemed to have been wiped down. Both times I had to go home and finish the job. Def a waste of my money!I regularly buy cars to sell and need a car wash I can trust to wash them and clean them well before theyre sold but this place def killed my expectations.Do yourself a favor and hire Hispanic ppl instead! Your own ppl cant even clean cars well.
