This Mechanic was revered by a friend! I was right in trusting Er! This guy is Honest and fair. His father owned this shop before it was handed down to him. He has old world values and work ethics! M going back son with some tire issues. I’m totally safe in putting my trust in him. He’s friendly and very knowledgeable. And he doesn’t try to gouge you! Highly recommend!!!

Their lifetime warranty is bs we paid $ 400.00 had the right hub fixed at bell automtiveWe were told it had lifetime warranty it went out stopped by the shop nobody there called no answer, left a message with home phone # no call back so we had to pay another shop to fix it another $400.00 out of our pocket in less than 2 years thats 800.00 total I recommend Jims in cottonwood he is a good mechanic with fair prices

This shop had very good integrity, they carefully explained what they were going to do and the price was set and didnt change. Im very happy with the work they did, it was fast and very high quality. I will definitely be going back next time I need vehicle work, and would recommend them to anyone.

This place is a joke.... took 1000$ and a month for them to “repair” the car, then to have it break down and do the EXACT SAME THING it was taken in for doing! It was brought back in for them to say something else was wrong. After saying they would Call with in update later that day.. two days later still no call... when we called they kept telling us to call back and call back this exchange was made 4 times before we got an answer. This answer had nothing to do with the car but the fact that a women was calling! Refusing to speak to a women because “we don’t know what we are talking about”. These people are scum and don’t deserve business! They take advantage of people and should even have a business! I wish there was negative stars because that’s what they would get. !

Thank you so much Chris, you were able to track down a short in the wiring system of our Buick Park Avenue that had caused the car to lose all power while driving. Other mechanics we talked to, said it was a crack sensor or ignition module or computer....All are expensive fixes, Im sure we wouldve been charged for all of these parts at another shop. You looked for first, and found it wasnt a part, but a short in the ground wire. Fix done for a fraction of the cost. You have all our automotive service business!

Car broke down next to shop only option I had. I expecting the worst. What I got was a mechanic for forever. Honest, integrity integrity integrity. He was straight up broke a timing belt on a interference motor. Chances of total engine replacement 99.9. We got lucky no damage Jim fixed the car and extra for a honest price. Honk when you by to one of the last genuinely honest guys who know how to do the job correctly.

Jim is an amazing man!! I took my suv to him months ago and he fixed my suv in a day, he knew what was wrong and explained it to me. Yesterday my Nieces car broke down On the freeway, I called him told him my name and about my nieces car and he remembered me and he remembered working on my car and he remembered exactly what was wrong with my SUV asked me how it was running. I was able to bring my nieces car right into him and he had it repaired the next day for her to get back on the road and go back to work. I highly recommend this place!! He is the only one I will have work on my vehicles.

I took my Ford F-150 there after just getting it from a side lot who claimed it had a full tune up. Chris and Jim took it in and showed me no tune up was done. They changed every fluid from front to back. Flushed the entire system and serviced the transmission. After I came home there was a small transmission leak wich I assumed was from the service I brought it back to them they looked it over and replaced the gasket. Next day a leak so I again returned to them we looked all over for the leak and come to find out, it was out of the bulk head they fixed it with no charge. Even though it was not there problem. I have to say I am extremely happy with there service. I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends, and will be giving them all my work from now on. Thanks again Jim and chris bell.

Jim is one of the best mechanics I have ever delt with. I know some mechanics they try and get over on you and jack up prices and tell you things that need to be fixed that do not. Jim is not that kinda guy. We have been going to him for about a year now . And we have never had a bad experience with him . I can call freaked out and Jims is always like no worries we will get her fixed. And within a day or two we have our car or truck back. This man is always willing to help out his customer . Its also nice that he not only talks to my husband but me as well. You dont see that alot in this field of work but jim made sure I understood what was going on too . Being in customer service myself it is great to see someone who cares about his customers not just his buisness. Thank you Jim for all that you do !!!! Best mechanic in shasta county in my opinion. I had an after hours problem. I called the after hours number. Chris was able to diagnose my problem via text message. On my older f150. In 1 hour he was able to tell me each step and I got my truck running so I can get to work the next day. He does know his stuff when it comes to cars and trucks.

By far the best mechanic shop in northern California!. Chris is the most trustworthy auto mechanic i have ever came across. We were about to junk our truck and say forget it but chris found the problem right away and he was fast, efficient and didnt charge us an arm and a leg. If i cuz do a 0 star i wud! I took my mans car to be fixed due to not start they did not fix the problem after all they took a pictures of me push starting it cuz they thought it was funny. Me being stupid i took my other car to them and they claimed they fixed an over heating problem got five miles away and blew a head gasket when i went to get my car yet again there were huge scratches on my door. !! 2000$ later Im not pleased what so ever
