My family has been visiting this dental clinic since 1986. Although dentist owners have changed through the years the excellent care and customer service remains 5🌟’s.I appreciate they are proactive about my family having regular cleanings twice a year. Christie is our hygienist. She is very gentle and gives us information that help our teeth and stay healthy.My dentists have been Dr. Sage and Dr. Gagliano who have been proactively replacing my silver fillings with gold or, I think it is porcelain. I feel any of the associate dentists are of high caliber so I recommend their excellent care for your oral health!

Being it was an emergency visit they got me in right away they are amazing people. Love all of the staff so friendly and knowledgable. Took very good care of me❤️

After struggling with getting to my dentist during the pandemic; I finally made it there.If you need a professional Dentist like Dentist Tadd, you will receive the best of care from him and his staff.I can only describe the quality of his work as a work of Art. The time, percision, talent and care is Awesome!Hes gentle and if you ever had any past fears of visiting the dentist, it will all disappear after your visit. No long waits, pleasant atmosphere, safe, clean, and adheres to the policies during Covid. I couldnt wait to get the oral care I needed and follow up with praticing good oral hygiene. Doctor says call us if you infection comes back well my swelling came over the weekend , I called Monday I called back and cancelled my appointed I was waiting for , since November for sedation. Nice chunk of money for them . But they didn’t worry about my pain . Again antibiotics was all I needed . But they took their sweet time calling me. So they lost money because of it . Yet instead of apology they send me a text got survey 😂😂😂 well here you go and tell that doctor I didn’t like his jokes . I told them I’m scared of needles . Showed them a whim shot wound and the doctor makes jokes? Makes references to basket ball because I’m black. After I told him I do t like basket ball? Had two different dentist give two opinions . One said they can fix teeth joker dentist said pull em . Well I don’t recommend unless your white , and like jokes

I have always been satisfied with my care at True North, especially that of my hygienist who’s attention to detail is exceptional.

Great office if you can get past the fact they will not tell you they arent in network with your insurance. I called my dentist to schedule for some urgent issues and they answered. They are sister offices with my previous dentist and were seeing their patients while they were closed. I gave them all of my information and not once did they mention that they were out of network. 3 visits later and I am now in debt. I just happened to look at their site after the 3rd visit. Stupid me for not checking but poor communication from them on not being upfront.

Great experience every time we go in for our apts. I appreciate the reminder texts and they’re so helpful. The staffs are wonderful, mindful and attentive.

Highly recommend . If, you are looking for a truly caring and excellent dentist.. This is were you should be going. I have for years and wouldn’t consider going to another dentist in Anchorage.

I took my client to have a consultation to see Dr. Sage for an extraction done and have an immediate denture placed after. We were referred by the other doctor since they don’t do sedation. We were 15 minutes early to our appointment time and after 20 minutes waiting for our appointment time I went to the front desk and verify our appointment time and they said that they will take us soon but after 40 minutes waiting finally have someone came and told us that they are running behind and we have to wait for another hour and we were so disappointed on how they’re so unprofessional they are! We left and we will never come back to this place.

The staff, hygienist and Dentists are very courteous and do an awesome job. I am not a huge fan of going to the Dentist but the staff at True North Dental have changed my view because of the treatment received.Rob Malone

Dr. G told me she doesn’t agree with 2015 ADA guidelines regarding prophylactic antibiotics prior to teeth cleaning. I respect she doesn’t want to go against another doctor’s written orders, but the orders were outdated.

Brandy (hygienist) and Dr G were polite and quick, as well as the front desk staff.

Found all staff lovely. I was treated with respect and real friendliness by all staff members.

I had a wisdom teeth consult scheduled a week in advance, I arrived 10 minutes early to my appt to fill out any paper work, as requested. When I arrived I was told to take a seat, waited 5 minutes only to be told that the dentist was running an hour behind and had been all day. I was then told I should reschedule because she couldn’t guarantee when he would be available and I had to go back to work. It was quite frustrating as I took time off work for this consult, and lost money due to it. I think in the future if one of their dentist is running behind, a courtesy call should be made to the clients before their appt to inform them. The front desk was very kind to me, but I’ve had to wait for over 30 minutes multiple times before, and this was really the last straw for me.

Referral from my wife to this office. I made an appointment a few weeks ago for a cleaning as a new patient. Throughout the few weeks waiting I was in direct contact with various employees regarding my benefits coverage, records from my old dentist, and to confirm my two appointments. I was told I had to do an examination on a different date from the cleaning. I thought that was odd and inconvenient. I proceeded because my wife had a good experience there. I received a phone call The date of appointment at 8am to remind again of my appointment scheduled for 10 am but to show up earlier to fill out paperwork and sign a release form to get records from old dentist. Im thinking these people are thorough and detailed. Great! I get there 9:35 am. I Fill out form. I Wait patiently. At 10:15 the receptionist comes up to me in waiting room to inform that she received records and the doctor is looking at them now. Apologized for the delay. At 10:30 the insurance claims receptionist comes up to tell me that she needs my insurance card because she is having trouble finding me in Aetna system for coverage. I handed over and immediately remembered that we covered this issue over the phone with the various conversations we had regarding my benefits and coverages. At 10:45 now the office manager comes up to me to inform that the doctor could not see me because the Dr. Had been reviewing my records and it took too much time. She apologized and wanted to reschedule. What!!!!????. It took me everything from letting them all have it. I politely asked if they can reschedule both appointments on same day. Not so much to ask considering they completely wasted my valuable time. She initially said no then said to call her at another time to check. I was furious. I obviously did not reschedule. They Lost my business. I could not believe how mismanaged and unprofessional this office is. BTW, There were no other patients in waiting room for this office. I feel like this was done intentionally being that I covered all my bases prior to arriving. Is this how they treat new patients or they looked at me and discriminated me for some reason? I counted 4-5 different employees behind that desk and this is the results? Cant find a descent dentist and staff in this town. So over it!

I originally went to Luffs when I got my braces off, but when I need to get my other appts in for a cleaning and filling, True North was truly amazing in helping me get everything squared away. They explained everything out with what was provided by insurance and what wasn’t. Everything was always very clear and the staff was super friendly and helpful with all questions. The entire staff was very professional and explained everything there were doing during the procedure and was open to questions after. Overall I would recommend coming here and if you ever need work for braces or retainers, Luffs is literally two steps away. Haha This group is amazing!

Like most people, going to the dentist is way down on the list of things I enjoy. Fortunately for me, the entire staff here is so very nice and go out of their way to make me comfortable during my visits. Lori, my hygienist, makes my visits seem like coffee with a friend. Also, kudos to the front desk staff as well. Friendliness starts there and I always feel welcome.

Great experience (for a dentist). I only had to wait a couple minutes before getting in. Dion did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. I had some stains I couldnt deal with myself, now I cant tell they were ever there.I hadnt seen a dentist in a very long time, but I never felt any pain during the cleaning or the exam. Very skilled, very professional service.

The staff and dentist were warm and friendly. I have no complaints other than I wish I had better dental insurance to cover some expensive dental work I need.

Dr Sage and True North Family Dental were able to promptly accommodate my emergency which involved major extensive upper front bridge work. After 5 hrs. of the most professional, gentle and kind dentistry, my temporary bridge was in place. As we wait for the permanent bridge to be ready, we now have an opportunity to really explore the region. Dr Sage saved the day and we did not have to interrupt our adventure and return to Virginia. Thank you Dr Sage and True North Family Dental!!

Although there was confusion about when my appoint actually was, the staff was very good about accommodating me. The hygienist I saw was excellent. The dentist I saw was competent, but knowing that I had 3 return visits and need to pre-medicate, only gave me a prescription for 1 dose. Since I have to pay for each prescription, I am now going to be out of pocket for the others, when it could have been done in one prescription. I am not happy!!

While repairing a tiny filling, Dr. Gentry Toone ground my teeth down without my permission and asked me how do you like your new bite?. I want back what he grinded off back, yet its gone forever. Dr. Toone and Zoya the hygienist lied and denied grinding and said I was doing it in my sleep and wore my own teeth down. If you believe their lies, go see them. One innocent visit has changed my jawline forever. Go ahead and take your chances and play the odds that it wont happen to you...

Absolutely horrible experience with Dr.toon to begin with he filled the wrong tooth, improper spacing after fillings, all new fillings were very gritty made multiple appointments to re polish with no change filling is now falling out wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
