Sad to see the old services are no longer available. ALL ON CALL SERVICES HAVE BEEN TERMINATED!! This company is trying to make all services a subscription; shortest subscription is quarterly and quoted at $720 if you only used the on-call service this is a complete RIPOFF!!Do Not use this service! The local office was great under the old management but the NEW CORPORATE MANAGEMENT is less than desirable.

I agree with Jen. I had to dispute our bill that doubled. They did drop it down, but doing this monthly will be a hassle. Also, apparently unknown to anyone (because communication is not one of their strong points) they have a minimum. So my one bill that used to be $35, then went to $39 is not $51. That one I cannot dispute. Their invoices are archaic and have next to no info on them. We used to know how much we were shredding. Iron Mountain is looking at providing Service in Alaska, since VRC has total monopoly here. I am already in contact with them. They do no do on site, but what they offer in savings and service might just be worth it. If someone wants to haul it away at a 40% savings, I say yes!

BEWARE and watch your bill!!!!Shred Alaska was AMAZING. Since VRC took over they have shut off auto pay with no notice forcing the customer to call in after receiving a bill with 2 months service on it. Upon re-signing up for auto pay you must pay a 3% fee now. So what was $35 is now $38 something. Okay, frustrating, but doable. My balance was paid in full that day.Then they run my card for January charges on 2/17/20 for $53.82!! I call them and ask why the customer was not told about the change in price, the employee who I spoke with was as frustrated with the changes as the customers who have been blowing up his phone all day. The employees in the billing department were not advised of these changes, so they were surprised by the first upset customer call.This is their new rates, but not set rates as they will likely go up again in a couple months. TERRIBLE business practices!!! It will be less expensive to buy my office a decent shredder and pay an employee to do the shredding in house. Office supply store, here I come! I did see there is another option locally to take all your shred to the UPS store. I would rather do this monthly then deal with VRC another month!
