I have tried just about every nail salon in town and never walked out with what I wanted or good quality. This is the first place I have gone to that I was awed with how my nails turned out. The staff were very friendly. I left with absolutely perfect nails. They got themselves a new client for sure.

Went with my fiancé and they did a poor job on his nails. He didn’t know what was supposed to happen since this was his first mani pedi, so I can’t speak to whether or not they would have fixed any issues if he had asked. Due to COVID they were short staffed and our mani pedis took well over 2 hours. One of the massage chairs was broken and had smoking wires. It would randomly start and stop massaging him.My nails were done well. If it was just me, it would have been 4 stars, but the experience for my fiancé was closer to 1 or 2 stars.

Dont let the exterior building fool you! It has a clean, comfortable interior and Elizabeth, the owner, is so personable and AMAZING at what she does. Received a manicure with gel , she helped me pick the perfect color and offered to do a watercolor finish on one for either hand. Absolutely coming back for more!!!

This was my first ever experience with acrylic nails, and I’m always worried about the outcome. I don’t do my nails much and so I’m much a newbie! I booked an appointment with His and Her Nail Salon and Elizabeth was so welcoming and I told her that it’s my first experience and she went through the process with me. I feel so appreciated and we’ll taken care of. There was a trainee with her as well and she was being so polite and worked her magic through. She has an amazing touch and throughly worked on my nails to how I like them. I normally don’t write reviews, but I have to give Elizabeth the greeted feedback! I know now why so many ladies get their nails done, and especially acrylic nails! I’m definitely coming back! Thank you Elizabeth for this amazing experience.

We are new to Alaska and I was referred to His and her Nail Salon by a sweet local girl. I walked in without an apmnt asking for a full set of nails. I was accommodated right away. The care taken of my natural nail was exceptional as well as the quality of work. The owner was meticulous with the detail of her work, making sure That I liked what she was doing. I appreciated the very clean desk, implements, and salon. The staff was kind and friendly. Thank you, and I look forward to staying a long time client at His and Her Nail Salon.

Words cannot explain how happy I am with my service. I went in his and Her about 2 weeks ago. I was attended by this sweet young lady who seemed to have a broken foot I’m not sure about the details just know she was rolling around in a scooter. She did my pedicure and did an outstanding job. The service was great her communication skills were top notch. She made me relax and have a wonderful time. I loved my pedicure and will be telling all of my friends about this place! I’m not sure if I’m butchering it but her name was pooki?

I really loved this place. I have been going to different places trying to find the one Im more comfortable with and like the work. Well I found it. She knows what she is doing seems like family buisness. Ive never liked my nails more.

Flexible with a large group reservation. We came late and changed our minds on the services we wanted and the whole staff was flexible and kind. They didnt see upset at all and did a great job for my wedding nails. Great nail salon, very friendly!

Really great nail salon with a little hidden gem Spa called Bello Zero. The massage is beyond comparable to anything Ive ever experienced in Alaska. This place offers deep tissue massage and others.

Me and my friend went in asking if they took walk ins,t he lady said yes and asked us what we wantes. My friend wanted a fill and I wanted a manicure and gel. They started her fill right away, after about 45 mins I was still waiting so I sat next to her for about 30 more minutes still waiting. At 12:00 another lady came in for her appt. and was helped right away. I left right after that because they clearly could not accommodate my walk in. I wasted an hour and half when I would of happily went somewhere else if they were honest about not having time for me. I came back to pick my friend up and they still were asking why I left. Do not recommend.

Elizabeth is the ABSOLUTE BEST. I’m on vacation from Texas and I broke a nail the day I arrived. I found this place because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. Elizabeth matched my color perfectly. You can even tell the difference in quality and detail from the rest of my set. Happy customer!!

I got mine done today and oh lord have mercy they were so perfect no flaws whatsoever!! 🤯 I paid just to have this experience 😥Today is the day after my His and Hers Nail Spa Day 🙄😒😳The lady who did my nails wasnt paying close attention talking to her coworkers. Meanwhile she tore my ring finger nail in half using a grinder on top of my dangling fake nail (that I showed to her prior to getting started) and she broke into a heavy sweat with a red face knowing what she had just done to me 🥵 Then said that it was already torn she told me I tore it myself before I was there which wasnt true and she knows it 🤥 She had a nervous wreck of a way to apologize to me but I accepted her way of apologizing just to get it finished.A torn nail is better off getting glued back together so I had it done immediately I paid 105$ including a tip and left.If you are okay having someone training on your body its the perfect place to go 😪 As they say ignorance is bliss.Mistakes are made at least she could have owned it instead of trying to blame me which makes it twice as bad plus she kept talking to her coworkers while my finger started turning red with blood. Her way of brushing it off her shoulders was to turn up the music and start singing while my hand began to bleed and throb painfully.

Really beautiful tranquil place. Fast service and great customer service. Their chairs are comfy and I’d be okay with getting my nails done here til I leave Alaska!

I am always satisfied when coming to this salon and the people are just amazing genuine people, I very much enjoy the work and styles they do and I enjoy the environment. Definitely recommend to 12/10

I went in to have my help acrylics trimmed down. I would of happily paid the extra fees so they had a finished look. Now they look like I did them when I was camping by candlelight. If the young lady had taken the time to make them look nice not only would she of made more money during that visit, but she would of gained a loyal customer. I guess it was worth the $10 to learn I dont want to spend anymore money there.

I’m new to Alaska and tried this salon based on the FB reviews. Elizabeth did an excellent job on my nails. I had two design options, a leaf foil design and a 3-D sunflower, she told me that she did not have the tools to do the 3-D design. I really appreciate that because others would have tried and failed before being honest. They have a wide variety of foils in different colors and shapes and a variety of different glitter. The pedicures are also good and very reasonably priced. All and all it was a good experience and my nails look fantastic!

Ive been to this salon when they opened in November 2019 (grand opening) and I love them! I get shellac polish or regular polish normally.

10/10 recommended. Nail artists are very polite, and they take their time to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Definitely going back!

This is the BEST nail place Ive ever been to in my life! You can get any design you want, they do it all! Chrome, glitter, imbeds, and even complicated designs. You can show them a picture from your phone and theyll do it BETTER! Love this place, never going anywhere else for my nails.

Terrible customer service!! I told her several times that the glue did not look done correctly and she kept saying “no the glue just looks that way”. I was my hands and there is clearly water and soap bubbles inside the glued down part so after going back and forth she applies more glue to the top part to “seal it” so no more water can get in. She finished the design I ask for (which was pretty. I will give her that). I leave the salon around 9pm and it looks fine. I go to the movies and get home about 11pm and notice in the bathroom light that I can see clear down 3 of my nails where they were not glued down properly. It’s after business hours so I call the next morning at about 10am to request a refund as they are not done correctly, which was my original concern. The owner asks for a picture before refunding my money. I send it and she refuses to refund my money. I told her when I was in the salon I had a morning flight so now on the phone she says the only way to get a refund would be to come in, knowing that I am unable to. She blamed me for not seeing her mistake before leaving the salon. She then refused even a partial refund (I can understand wanting to be compensated for design time.) saying the nails look pretty and that’s what people will see. She did a poor job and refused to stand by her work, saying it was my job to make sure they were done correctly. Would never recommend anyone else to go there.

Elizabeth did amazing on my full set. I have had a hard time finding a place in ANC that takes their time and doesn’t just slap them on as fast as they can. Hands down the best nails I have had since moving here 2 years ago. She also has a room set up for kids so they can play and you can relax. Such great customer care!

My girlfriend and I came to His and Hers Nail Salon. Its a very nice and relaxing salon with very friendly and humble employees that take their job very seriously, work professionally and all for a very good price. We were also lucky because right now they have a special going on that if you bring a friend you get 20 dollars off your services. You can even bring your kids because they have a side for your kids with toys and and tv. We really recommend His and Hers Nail Salon because of their friendly and relaxing environment, and their great job and prices.
