Very clean, 2 vending machines, all new washers and dryers, the ozone water system is amazing. My clothes are clean and soft after using the $3 washers and the large dryers, smells great. First time being here, got recommended by a friend, lady was super nice, welcoming and informative, got to exchange my leftover tokens back to cash. Did 2 loads for only $9 total, highly recommend and Ill be coming back again

I live near here am an essential employee and walked to the laundry mat since the one below my building is unsafe. It would have been nice if when I walked over at 5 or 10 til 4 the doors weren’t locked! So you say last wash is at 4 then put your hours listed till 4 and not 5! Especially when someone one walking up to the (locked!) doors is embarrassed by your employee who ignores you and then rudely puts up 4 fingers to indicate being closed at 4. People inside looking and enjoying the show. Just trashy

They should try and change their times and close at 10pm like artic and 36th laundry mat....

2 weeks in a row I have shown up and not a single sign was posted that they were closing early. I went at 3:30pm on May 1st and a short fellow that was working said the last wash was at 3pm. I pointed to the sign that clearly stated 4pm and he said “oh no, that’s old sign and owner forgot to take it down. You are too late and will have to come back tomorrow.”I come today at 3pm on the 9th and all the doors are locked and the lady working said they are closed by the owner for Mother’s Day. I can understand closing early for that reason, but again, not a single sign announcing this. Just the regular ones that say last wash is at 4pm and open 9-5.How hard is it to put up proper signage and let customers know what the real hours are, since the ones posted by the door are incorrect!Other than these issues, it is cheap and great with new equipment. The new remodel is great for people on budgets and needing to do laundry.

It was clean it wasnt crowded and the machines work great the dryer was super hot and fast

Made the grand mistake of attempting to do my laundry here while on vacation. Had 2 loads of laundry to wash. Used the $3.75 washers. Both of them ate quarters. Didn’t start. Ended up paying almost $5.00 a load once you factor the lost quarters. Service from a clerk was dismal at best. Guess what happened again, a dryer did the same thing. Wash at your own risk. The place is old. The machines are old. Washing public beware.

These guys went above and beyond to help us out.We are 4 veterans riding to Alaska down to Anchorage. Some of our crew had been on the road all the way from Arizona!We needed to do laundry but they were closing @ 3pm. The maintenance guy Sean saw that we were in need of doing some laundry bad, and him being a 13yr Veteran also, he let us do laundry while he did maintenance on the machines. Cant thank you guys and him enough.Sincerely,Some Combat Vets with clean clothes.....now. ;)

I dropped off a ton of laundry for the fluff &fold service- I actually felt bad because it was so much but the lady finished it sooner than expected and took better care of my clothes than I do. Im very happy with the service I received!

This laundry mat was clean and quiet. Newly renovated. Everything works. Value is good for the money. Dont bring quarters, everything is token based. Would definitely go there again.

This place is a scam they only take tokens in their machines and when you only have a 20$ bill on you they dont have change and then when you have 15$ worth of tokens they wont take them back. So now I have 15$ worth of useless tokens do for one load of laundry I essentially spent 20$ many better places in the anchorage area

Good laundromat, terrible hours. They are never open in the evenings! I work during the day and would like to do laundry after work but whenever I drive by they are already closed even if it says it is open online

I rarely ever have to use the laundry services but I had the most please the experience at Dondees today.

Im going to be really critical of businesses that fail to hold up their neighborhood during these trying times. For some reason these guys thought it would be a good idea to reduce their hours hours of operation to be nearly inaccessible to anyone that is still working during the week. Last wash at 3pm. Id be pressed to make that deadline on my day off. I consider laundry to be an essential service for maintaining health at home. Failure to make yourself available when you run this kind of service gets you 1 star.

You know theres a lot of great places for a lot of great laundromats but this is one of my favorite laundromats to go to large machines small machines they got extract and an actual prices on them are pretty reasonable and pretty fair and they also have a cleaning service there thats where I took a lot of our clothes and my kids clothes when they were going through all kinds of little things in their schooling and stuff like that so I give them 5 stars

Person gave us the change I needed from the connecting Dry Cleaners. Their change machine was broken. Clean srore, nice people. I brought my own detergent just in case. Great dryer.

Theyre pretty decent prices for doing laundry and the second time I went there they dried my clothes for free for me which is kind of nice and save me like dollar 2 dollars shop for theres nowhere to sit down in there so other than that

More than half of the machines are out of order On a Tuesday before noon and people are waiting to wash. No tv, no music, even ine of the front doors is broken. This place feels run down and sad. Didnt use to be like this, I wont come back.

Not enough carts available when occupancy reaches max usage of machines. In-considerate patrons holding carts instead of allowing others to transfer their clothes as needed. Where is Don?

Many broken machines. coins stick on 1/2 the machines that are working. pretty run down. The place has gone down hill. Do your comforters elsewhere.

First time there this Asian guy not sure if he was the owner or so but he was rude !! Bad customer service ! They should hired people to check all machine to make sure it work properly! What a rip off there ! Damage all my clothing and blankets !

The quality of service has gone down within the past two years. On Jan. 20, 2019 I went to do laundry and one of the washer I used was filled with think mixed liquid soap in the fabric softener dispenser. As I was watching the washer go on rinse I was wondering why the rinse cycle was super soapy so I checked by feeling with my fingers and pulled out the thick soap. I immediately told the worker and asked if she can restart washer at their expense because my clothes were still very soapy when I took them out. At first she said no because their sign says they are not responsible for any damages to anyones laundry. I told her that as a customer that I am putting my trust in their business that they keep their washers up to par. She politely called her boss and they said no. The lady understood my concern but the NEW owner said NO. Dondees used to be a nice friendly and a safe place to do your laundry but the quality has gone down to ZERO. I paid $5 for a load and I didnt want to fuss the business and came home to wash my blankets one by one. I have been doing my laundry there since the Fortune, her son & Don days and now I am looking for another place.

The woman attendant in the morning gives FREE dryers to her compadres. I witnessed her climbing the machines with her master key and pressing buttons...and then her buddy buddies come over and load them up. Not even a single quarter going in...about 3 machines! No wonder its not making much to fix their damaged washers. Dishonest employees!

I tried to do my laundry here. Monday December 12th @4:50 PM. I went in to ask the lady behind the counter if Dondees had an ATM. She replied very rudely no shaking her head. I then tried to ask her if I can purchase quarters with my debt card. She repeatedly said no after several times (about 4 times) she said to go to Chevron while waving her hand to shoo me away. I just responded quietly that Ill just wash my clothes elsewhere. I know we have bad days, but this was rude!

5 or more machines broke done everyday out of service, wont take the money too repair or replace. Always give excuse waiting for parts or they only have one dude there too repair and can not fix. Attendant hands out free wash and dry too those from their native country always, thats just not cool and is taking from the company they work for. Owners seem too not care about the service, or getting things fixed too have a great place too do laundry. They come in, collect the money from machines and then they leave. Satelite for tv has been down now for months and they have had not interest in repairing for their patrons while doing laundry there. Machine service tech is never around too fix machines only, therefore causing big shortage for paying patrons. Machines are being saved for customers from attendants native country. New owners are only in it too make money too pay their high personal expenses, not too make their business better and more outstanding. Updated 6/3/2017......the place and machines are falling apart, in three weeks only one machine has been fixed. Customers are paying more to use machines they dont need, customer service has dropped, they have no kne available during business hours to repair machines and seem to dont care as to how soon they should be repaired. The same maintenence you spend to hold your family together.....should be the same maintenence to hold your and keep your business running. You have a laundry business, machines break, most customers come in with a budget for laundry. So if your going to force your customers to increase their budget to use your services, then you should increase your budget to make all those services and machines available for their use each and everyday your open and stop making excuses and nit having adequate personell in hand each day to handle all the necessary duties abd repair of machines. This isnt being said to be rude or degrade your business, but is being brought to your attention in the hopes that u do something about it. Updated again 1130am 6/3/2017, now ten machines down out of service, all but but 4 are washers out of service on one of their busiest days and no personell to make the repairs or get the parts necessary to fix right away
