Always my favorite family oriented and clean laundry mat

Cost effective laundry center; the attendant is always on site during business hours, and very kind and friendly.

They have plenty of machines, the staff is friendly and the prices are low. The facility was clean and smelled clean. I didnt have any complaints. 5 star experience!Edit: I went back yesterday to wash some blankets. The place smelled like terrible Indian food, it was gagging. I pressed onward anyway. The machines did not spin the water out of the blankets very well. I put them into a large dryer, set it a spinning and left. When I Came back and the door to the dryer had come open, and my blankets were still soaked. No attendant on hand to help. I was just disgusted. I took the blankets home and hung them up to dry. -3 pts for that experience.

Owner was very friendly. Washers and dryers were as you would expect at a laundromat. The place did have a bit of the old water smell but it is a laundromat. Kids were in having a good time playing with eachother. Some kids books and magazines available. However, dont forget your laundry soup. Will return visit.

Laundromat isnt maintain properly at all. Just about to do your laundry and get out. Broken wash machine often. Place dirty ! Folding tables never been cleaned properly. Mess place.

Service was amazing. And the guy helped me tremendously. Im definitely changing laundromats.

The place smells like sewage inside and that same smell gets into the laundry. Looked like months of soap build were you put the soap. I never see anyone cleaning just sitting in the office on their phones and iPads

Ive been using this place for over a year and just recently moved into a new place close to this laundromat and we only have a washer so weve been using the dryers here up until today when the same worker who has seen us multiple times coming in and using the dryers told me that we cannot do that and that I was lying about him seeing us only using the dryers and told us that we need to leave. They just lost a loyal customer!!!

700 machine didnt work & no attendant @ 11AM upon arriving would not return my money instead I had to put laundry in 3 3$$ washers.i told the attendant I wouldnt be back & he said goodplus the place has a sewer smell

This is your average laundromat. Service is good. Washers and dryers are as clean as I would expect.

Great place for a traveler to do laundry on the way through town. Big machines, fast, did three loads all in with an hour and a half including folding. Vending on site, restroom, some tables to sit at and eat lunch while you wait for your laundry. Laundry varied from 3 bucks up to 6 based on washer size. Dryers were six minutes per quarter. Change machine on site.

Nice employees. Plenty of Machines fast dryers. Usually a little crowded but a quick turnover. Great location parking can be a challenge.

One of the best place in Anchorage to do laundry. Its clean, affordable and always an attendant on duty to help. This night the attendant stayed 20 minutes after closing until we finished. That was great! Thanks!

The only place in town that I know that has a centrifuge / water extractor.

Great place to do laundry

These guys are life savers! Well, bedding savers anyway. Found out after the fact, my puppy had a UTI and lost control of his bladder, on the bed, as I was trying to get into bed. Striped down the bed, put on all fresh bedding, from mattress pad to sheets to comforter and duvet cover only to have the puppy jump back on the bed and pee again before I could get him off. The following morning I took everything to Ds as a drop off wash and dry and they had it all done in less than 4 hours! Price was a little cheaper than where I usually go, so getting a fair price for such fast service is amazing!The only con is this business is cash only, so be prepared for that.

Change machine out of order, detergent coin machine out of order. Waste of time. 🤦‍♀️

My items were stolen and the attendants response was I dont know, I was on break He was unable to look at the security video because he didnt have the right battery. He also told me that it went missing because I lack common sense. Use at your own risk

Pretty comprehensive... Basic laundry man... Clean. The one staff member I met was very friendly and helpful.

If you intend to just dry your clothes, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Who does not allow customers to dry without washing? My vent currently needs cleaning, so my dryer is out for now. I wash at home to save money and just need drying. I gave my money to Coin-Op Laundromat instead.

The family are wonderful and kind. They provide a warm and friendly laundromat,and its not because of the dryers. I highly recommend them. Cheers, Rock on!

Its great if no one else is there but the smell in that place is rotten

They get a 5 because the attendant always has the place clean and unlike other places in town, Ive NEVER had an issue with any of their machines. Anything not working has signs clearly marked. They also exchanged a dollar that I did lose in one of the machines. Very helpful.

Average laundry mat. Not particularly clean but not gross. Appreciated that the TV is the corner and wasnt too loud. One machine ate a dollar of mine and the attendant came out to start the machine but ignored my dollar. :-( plenty of carts and machines.

When our washer was broke down we had to wash our clothes somewhere, but wed bring them home and dry them to save money and electricity for the laundromat as well as let others use the dryers if they needed to. Its convenient and decently priced services are what attracted us to the business as well as being fairly comfortable too.

Our dryer went out so I googled this place. I read reviews and saw one that said you could not go in just to dry. So I called. And sure enough, you cant! This is not good customer friendly at all, they must not need the $$ or references! Poor business practice.

Its an ok place not my favorite but it works when you want a change of scenery.

A pleasant laundry outing, and thats saying something!

Whenever I do need to use a laundromat, this is my favorite. its fairly clean and quiet and well-maintained. When Ive needed help with anything, the staff is really nice.

Busy place on a Saturday morning. About 2 of 10 machines out of order, but the place is clean and well lit.

I used to love this Laundromat.Since the new owners have taken over, it has completely changed.They have taken out most of the tables, so you have to sit and wait on just the chair.They have put up hanging plants EVERYWHERE so it looks like a jungle.There is now a strange smell in the vicinity.And lastly they have put up Alaskan Artwork everywhere, it looks like the walls are closing in.I felt very claustrophobic and couldnt wait for my laundry to be done so i could GET OUTTA there!

It was alright. More expensive than some laundromats. When I went in, the soap dispenser was out and there was no staff in the building. I would recommend a different laundromat.That said, lots of washers and dryers of various sizes.

We have been customers with this establishment for over a year and a half. The gentleman that usually works there has always been very nice and helpful. Ever have an issue, and he helps.This evening, we went there, put our laundry, detergent and coins into the machines and went outside to sit in our vehicle (all seating was taken). We come back inside to move all of our clothes into dryers once the washers all finish. One load had not been washed at all, not even wet. Once we had realized that the machine had eaten our quarters, we went to talk to the lady working there...she accused us of not paying (her reasoning behind that, was that she hadnt seen us). She refused to listen as we tried explaining the situation, maintaining that she was right and we were wrong. Later, when we asked where we could file a complaint, she scoffed and walked away.The moral of the story is, if you are contemplating going to D Family Laudromat, be aware that there is a laundry facilty on Tudor and Seward Highway. Choose to receive actual customer service. Congrats D Family, you lost a loyal customer!

Been going here every sunday for about 4 years now. I tried other places and keep coming back here. Attentive staff, affordable, decent part of town, lots of parking.

This place is so filthy I took my clothes somewhere else and rewashed them.

Love this place! Clean laundromat. Super friendly service. Kids are welcome, but not allowed to run around. ATM and change machine on site.

I like that its open until 11. However prices are extremely high. Nearly 4$ for a regular size washer, and .50$ for 9 minutes in the dryer. I had my clothes in the dryer for over an hour, and when I got home they were still wet.

D Family Laundromat is always clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The laundromat has plenty of washers and dryers, a change machine, a snack machine, and free internet. Who could ask for more?

The best and clean place to do your laundry very friendly owners

An attendant/owner is always on duty, which helps keep things clean and running smoothly. Parking is adequate, and both large and small washers and dryers are on -site.

Wish they will clean the soap dispenser on the washer...looks so nasty!!! But, the workers there was nice and ready to help! Thanks.

I have used this laundromat on and off for many years. It has never been anything less than top quality.

The staff may not be the most friendly, but at least there is staff here. I lost a quarter in the machine and got it back quickly.

Its just kinda meh. Theres​ nothing particularly good or bad about the place. Its as good a place as any to get your laundry done.
