Felt very comfortable with all the knowledge, skill and dental care I’ve had done there the last couple of years. I’ve seen all the doctors and they are all very sensitive and they go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Really enjoyed my time at north coast dental seeing melody!! I was nervous about going to the dentist after 2 years (thanks covid) but they made the whole experience great and it feels good to have clean teeth again!

I had an appointment for a cleaning and exam yesterday and I was not disappointed! Eric was very thorough and made it very fun to come in. I also had and exam and the doctor was very friendly and professional. I have had work done at North Coast previously and have seen other staff members and they are all wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this office.

The Lead Dental Hygienist George is why I am giving 5 stars. Being in my second trimester of my first pregnancy in the middle of a pandemic and needing a root canal is the most stressful scenario I can think of and unfortunately my reality.George kept me comfortable and in high spirits the entire visit. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and kept my anxiety at a manageable level. I am so very grateful for the wonderful service he gave and his exceptional bed side manner.

I was a little worried at first but they calmed me down, the staff here are very nice and comforting. They make sure your comfortable at all times and are always asking to make sure you maintain your comfort.

They got me in very quickly for a new patient. The exam and cleaning were great and done in a little over an hour.

I’ve never enjoyed the dentist but the crew at North Coast Dental is as pleasant as can be.

Greeted immediately & pleasantly. Appt. Proceeded on time. Dental hygienist, Eric was friendly, efficient, & informative. Dr. was informative & helpful. I was provided with a diagram of my teeth explaining work I have had done & work that will be needed. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

I recently moved to Anchorage, and saw the high reviews for this place, so I figured Id try it out.First, Id like to start off with the good. I had a cleaning and a filling done here on December 9, 2020. All the front counter ladies are extremely helpful and nice, always, on the phone and in person. Scheduling the appointment was easy and straightforward.The hygienist I had was great, thorough, helpful, nice.They were very helpful in squeezing me into their busy schedule and accommodating my little and busy time in Anchorage, and were able to schedule me for a filling later that day.The dentist and assistant didnt have the smoothest technique. The assistant consistently jabbed me with the suction tube. Ive been to a lot of dentists and just from my experience, felt a bit rough. The dentist did a decent job of numbing me and it wasnt extremely uncomfortable.From there things just started going downhill.I started to have some discomfort with my tooth that they worked on. I called them, and they said I should have the bite checked. I live and work in Nome most of the time, so I couldnt return to the same dentist, not that I had much motivation to anyway.I went to a different dentist in Nome that even after trying to fix the bite, noticed on the xray of the tooth that the filling may have not been properly done. She said it probably be best to redo it. So we did. As she was drilling she confirmed we made the right decision, noting that the filling was not properly cured and seemed soft.Then after checking with my health care insurance. I noticed that North Coast Dental overcharged me about $100. They never mentioned this, only until I called did they say I had that credit on my account - how convenient.Francis, I think who is the office manager, was rude, and disgruntled that I wanted the refund instead of the credit. She hurriedly tried to get off the phone, nearly hanging up on me.I still havent seen the refund, and its been several months now. Ive called several times since, left messages. Ive spoken to the front counter ladies who take a message for me, and say someone will call me back - no one ever does. Extremely disappointed, Ill never return.*EDIT: After making this review, I was contacted the same day. I was mailed a check within a few days received my missing refund finally after 3 months. Thank you for finally sending the check.

Maggie (Dr Arwood) was awesome! I dont make it in nearly as often as I should, but despite that, I still have a great time coming in for cleanings and xrays. Still no cavities! But we have a watch on a few locations and it is up to me to keep flossing religiously. Maggie is knowledgeable, fun, funny, warm, and welcoming. Definitely would recommend!

Moving to last frontier the last thing i wanted to do is find a new dentist but they was so friendly and very informative about what they where doing so very happy I went.

Eric is an awesome dental Hygenist. He uses the high powered water method so no more enduring the metal scraping. Great jokes too!

Good experience with a cleaning and routine dental examination. First time I had a sonic cleaning did a great job. You have to be able to stand water buildup in the back of your throat. The technician was a competent operator of the device. They summarize any recommended procedures when you leave, which is nice.

Dr. Holt and Melody were great with my son! He came out smiling 🥰

Dr Arwood and team (including the little doggie) made me feel at ease, and that is hard to do. Katie was friendly and efficient checking me in, but George was my favorite. He had to prep and clean my teeth to get them ready to seat the new bridge. I expected pain as he scraped the old cement off but I can honestly say he was so gentle I could barely tell he was working around the teeth at the gum line.Thank you to everyone at North Coast Dental!See you next time.

If I could give 100 stars I would. Dr. Arwood and the entire staff were beyond wonderful.The office was very clean and all necessary precautions were taken for my visit. I felt at ease the entire time.

My experience at North Coast Dental on Abbott Road has been very positive, dare I say even pleasant. De Arwood is a delightful and very skilled dentist. She explains everything and takes her time to do an exceptional job. I have had all types of dental work, including root canals, crowns, tooth cleaning, tooth repair, and implant surgery. Her staff is a delight and very profesional. I highley recommend them. 5/5 stars
