Definitely charges a little bit steep of a price but at least I know if there’s any issues with the repair work I can always bring it back to him and he’ll take care of it. Saving many of my vintage electronics from having to go in the dumpster. I really appreciate his service and I’m glad he’s local.

I had a stereo receiver that needed repair - it had a loud and irritating power supply hum.I took it to Sunset Services and the problem was fixed. Importantly for this review when I got the receiver back, although improved, there was still a slight hum. I took it back to the shop and more clearly explained the situation. The owner completed the repair and entirely solved the problem without additional charge. I think the difficulty was that English is not his first language and I likely did not entirely explain the problem. Ive had the unit back now for two weeks and it is absolutely quiet and a joy to listen to again.The owner knows his stuff, is trustworthy, did a good job for a fair price. If you are like me and hate to throw stuff away because it may only need a $1 diode replaced, then consider this business.
