Took off work early to get a hair cut. Got to Flattop with only one customer ahead. Place filled up. Never was told there is a list to sign up. I am deaf in one ear, no one at that business said anything to me. The poor guy in front of me and myself got skipped by others who came into the waiting line afterwards. Poor customer service. I will never go there again and will tell my friends to stay away also.

Great atmosphere awesome barbers that do a wonderful job waiting time is minimal and I can walk in anytime without having to deal with appointments only nonsense and great prices compared to other places. I will go nowhere else to cut my hair. Love this shop.

Eugene hooks me up with the smoothest low fade on a consistent basis. The man is an artist. All the barbers seem to do incredible work. Everybody I see leaving the barbers chair looks fresh and clean.The shop also has a nice feel.

Went in after 3 weeks of letting my hair grow out. Never usually had a bad experience except last time when I went in and had a notch taken out of my top right portion of my head. Figured I’d give them another chance. Always the same fade haircut. This time when I got out and looked in the car mirror I had hairs left hanging around my ears from my original length. On top of that my fade had raises/bumps of when the hand jumped when the clippers were going over the area. Make sure you double check their work before you leave because you will be stuck with it or trying to fix it at home.

Had a bad haircut from a different place came here to get it fixed and within 10 minutes it was perfect

As usual, great folks making the rest of us look human again. They listen to what you want and do a great job cutting hair just the way you want it done.

I have been coming to Flattop for years now. I have always felt like family there and always been very pleased with Allen and his team. A flattop haircut is very difficult to do and Allen has it perfected.

Best barbershop on Southside. Three chairs so the waits arent usually too bad. Perhaps the best part about the place is the their use of vacuum clippers for most of the work, which ensures that you dont leave with hair trimmings stuck all over. Its also a locally owned small business which I can certainly stand behind.

Don’t go here if you care about public health. Two employees wearing masks on their chin, and two wearing no masks at all and masks were not required for customers.
