Stopped in for a shampoo and blow dry before heading to the airport. The hairdresser was so sweet and friendly. It was a great way to wind down and get ready for a long flight!
First rate mens cut .
The worst haircut I’ve received. Do not go here at all. And for $27 is outrageously expensive.
Nice shop. Haircut was good. Hidden on a lower floor of the Captain Cook Hotel which makes it hard to find. A little pricey but this is sorta normal Anchorage upcharge.
Marilyn owns the Captain Cook Barber Shop and she is an excellent hair stylist. For over 10 years I and my sons have been going to her shop for all our hair needs. She has a large clientele of both men and women and she charges a very reasonable price that just cant be beat. The folks there go out of their way to accommodate last minute appointments and they are always professional and friendly. I highly recommend this business to out of town guests and to the locals as well.
Marylin gave me a great haircut, high fade.
Better haircut than Ive had elsewhere in Anchorage.
The woman that works in there absolutely butchered my haircut. I asked very politely for a fade. She had no idea what she was doing and the only thing she did right while I was in there was give me the haircut for free, basically because she knew how bad of a job she did. I would never recommend anyone ever go there.
I have been going here for a couple years, its the only place I trust to get my hair cut. Staff is friendly and skillful.
Great cut and a shave!
