Very professional. A TV commercial alerted me to their service and the ability to make an appointment. I called the following afternoon and was given an appointment for later the same day. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was quickly checked in and requested that I drive my vehicle into a specific bay. Within 35 minutes after initial arrival I was leaving the establishment after they had changed all 4 or my vehicle tires and completed all the paper work. Excellent service by all the contacted employees.

Always good service. I was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and was out by 2:35. 84 bucks to have the tires changed over on my Mitsubishi Montero. Ive used Alaska tire service for years and theyve always been pretty reliable.

I used their online site to get a quote for new winter tires. It was easy to do and the quote was very competitive. I picked the 88th St. location to install the tires.The purchase and the installation went perfectly, no hassles no surprises, just good business. I highly recommend this company.

Blew out my tire. Needed to get my alternate set mounted and balanced. They scheduled me in right away. The tech checked to make sure my alternate set was in good shape and they were quick courteous respectful and professional all the way.

Awesome service and staff. They were so helpful and honest about my tires. I went to get a tire change over from winter to summer tires and brought to my attention that my summer tires were too old and cracked and instead of just putting them on, which would have been unsafe and possibly cause more problems, they gave me numerous options and quotes for new and used tires. They did not try to push them on me at all and even tried finding me some tires from other locations. Anybody who is willing to send me to another business even if it is not their own to help me out earns my respect! I also had to reschedule on one of my cars literally last minute and the front desk staff were very helpful and kind and had no problems doing it. I unfortunately do not remember the names of the three gentlemen that work in the garage but they were very helpful as well and were great on giving me all the info I need about my tires and getting new ones. When I get new tires I will only go to Alaska Tire they have earned themselves a life time customer! Keep up the good work guys you are much appreciated!!!

The waiting area (warehouse) was nice and huge for customers to wait or we can choose to wait outside. Customer service was great, they helped me find the tires that fit because the ones I wanted didnt fit. Tire guys were also sweet & helpful.

Everyone from the front desk to the gentlemen in the shop were very friendly. They took the time to explain to me what was going on with my tires, 10 out of 10, would recommend.

They really came to the rescue this tire season. I waited till the last minute and all the places either required showing up hours early or you could make an appointment that was a month out. Alaska Tire Servies was taking appointments only the day before. I was able to get in and out very easy and my tires changed over the next day.

Alaska Tire Service just installed dually tire valve extenders on my RV. The service was superb by installer Andre and the lobby staff from start to finish. I had an 8:00am appointment, and they had me out the door at 8:45am. Most impressive!!! Thank you. Jon Krosch

They did exactly what they said they would do on my Jeep; putting it up on the lift exactly when they said they would do so (i.e. - at my appointment time), and doing the work correctly in less time than they committed to. Their waiting area allowed me to comfortably wait while they did the work. They charged me exactly what they quoted me, and everyone was very pleasant to deal with at the 88th Ave. shop. Alaska Tire has been absolutely great. They are friendly, the price is low, and best of all they can get you in quick, even at peak season! Weve used them for the last 2 years of winter/spring change overs and misc other tire needs, and usually get in same day. The front desk staff and the techs were wonderful. And they are running a pretty smooth, little contact as possible COVID protocol which is nice.

I dont get on people for not wearing a mask... and I will respect when someone even asks me to wear one... but be polite about it. Im editing this review - yesterday, I bought a new set of summer and winter tires. Lyndsay was extremely helpful over the phone explaining my options to me. I got my car in the same day and they had my new tires on my car in a half hour. The service technicians are always so friendly. Great experience. Again, highly recommend Alaska Tire Service on 88th!I use Alaska Tire Service for my tire changeover every year. Their techs and customer service reps are friendly, I don’t have to wait long and they do a great job every time. Highly recommend.

Alaska tire service saved us $600. Nicest front desk lady on the planet. She went out of her way (without having to) to get the manufacturer to cover a 4 tire defect after a blowout.I will only be using them for every vehicle from now on. Stellar service. Very knowledgeable staff.

These guys are great. Picked up a nail and had a slow leak in my tire. They were able to schedule on the same day (early winter snow day no less) and patched it quick. Very fast.

Wow! For over 61 years in Alaska, I have purchased a lot of tires but I have never had a better experience than my recent purchase of my tires from Alaska Tire Service on E. 88th. The entire staff from the from office ladies to guys in the shop were professional, friendly and efficient. I was in and out in just 20 minutes. My hats off tor Tammy and her family for for operating such a fine tuned business.

We had tires put on by Alaska Tire Service on E 88th Ave in November. On Saturday Jan 9, noticed that one of the tires was having an issue. We contacted them at 4:00 pm and were told we had to be at there shop by 4:15 pm (they close at 5.) Explained that we were in East Anchorage and would be a little bit passed 4:15. They stated if we got there late we wouldn’t be seen. We explained we live in Seward and we had to leave to go back home. They said sorry, they wouldn’t be able to help us. We called back January 11 and asked for a supervisor or manager. The lady who answered the phone stated she was a manager. We explained the situation, the first words out of her mouth were “don’t you have a spare”? Its not the point of having a spare they were rude have poor customer service and not willing to help out of town patrons who have gotten tire from that location and recommend using the Dimond or Eagle River locations for quality customer service.

I have had several experiences where the customer service, at the 88th location, has been terrible. I really wish they would replace or retrain the front desk lady.

My lovely Aunt and Uncle don’t have Google accounts so I have to leave this review in their regards. That first sentence should be an indicator of how terrible their experience was. The team refused to put brand new tires on my uncles truck, amongst a bunch of other nonsense. They went down the street to Alyeska Tire and had a great experience.

They got me an appointment right after work the same day. Got me in and out and were extremely professional and courteous. They were very COVID cautious and I would highly recommend them!

For the last few years Ive been going to alyeska tire. theyre frustratingly slow and nonchalant, and operate on first come first serve (meaning you have to arrive early in the morning to even get in). Not to mention theyre always trying to get you to buy new tires you dont need...Alaska tire service on the other hand was fast (20 min in and out)It was super easy to make an appointment. Just wake up at 8am, call to schedule an appt. for the next day, then go back to bed.my only complaint was you gotta back your car out of the vehicle Bay yourself, but they were helpful in guiding me out : )

I love this place. Its my go-to for switching out summer and winter tires. Come here and expect to wait while your car is worked on.. thats the deal at this location. In the last year or so I they opened a second waiting area (a little bit nicer) across the street. Im happy with their prices and they dont surprise you with an extra charge for tire pressure monitoring systems.I decided to buy my summer tires here and Im glad I did. Got my summer/winter tires changed over today, only took them 30 minutes to do the whole process which blew me away (seriously, Ive waited 3+ hours at other businesses before). The guy who did my tires (Thomas? Thompson? soft-spoken guy with curly black hair) was super nice and helpful. Their appointment system is also really well done. I will say that their tire changeover is a bit pricier, but I will still use them in the future.

Extremely upset my grandmothers ring was stolen out of my glove compartment the service was lousy the guy with big ears Jeremy is what his coworkers called him looked like and acting like he was tweaking on methamphetamines is my first suspect. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN GOING HERE

Wow talk about amazing service! I am usually a little nervous about having vehicle work of any kind done but my boss told me to come here because of the great service hes received. He was spot on and I loved my visit. The staff answered all of my questions politely, I was quoted up front with no extra fees, and done in 30 minutes. Even the guys working on the cars are friendly and they all said good afternoon as I walked inside (a first for me)! I am glad to have brought my business here and will recommend this shop to all of my friends.

Ive been going to Alaska Tire Service for a few years. I find them to be professional, corteous, and fast. They have a small lobby area that makes waiting comfortable with TV to watch or magazines to read. For one of my vehicles, I have very low profiles tires that others have had trouble mounting tires too - never had a problem here. Ill keep going back.

Was going to get brand new tires before my drive to Seward. But comes to find out I still had a year left in my tires & all they had to do was take out my studs. Save a lot of money due to theyre honesty. Definitely going back this fall to put studs back in my tires.

Havent price shopped anywhere, but they seem reasonable to me. I bought winter tires there for my truck - they had them in stock when I wanted them.Last year the computer must have glitched and not balanced my tired correctly, but that was just once out of six or 7 times Ive been there.Super quick AND prompt when you have an appointment. I really, really appreciate their promptness.

Got caught with two very flat tires four thousand miles from home. Needed new rubber, called around, found that ATS had the best prices and good reviews and scheduled an appointment. I was brought right in at my appointment time, invited to explain my situation, and they were prompt and accommodating - flawless service.On top of that, however, I had a tire replacement policy through Toyota which can add extra hassle. ATS talked to them and provided all the information they needed, and when there was a price dispute (because everything is more expensive in Alaska) they worked with me for close to an hour until Toyota agreed to provide full reimbursement. ATS was going to get paid either way, so their exceptional assistance was purely for my own sake. I very much appreciated their patience and offered assistance.Thanks guys! Im happy with how everything worked out!

Top quality service, in and out quick. went in for a tire change and the band aid clamp that i had on my exhaust came off while driving onto their car lift they reinstalled it for free, and spotted out my defected used summer tires i was trying to put on. got new tires for a good price, will be a returning customer.

They didnt mind me rolling in with 4kids on the tire changeover day and setting up a playpen in the very busy lobby! They already had a kid friendly area so all is well and Ill be back!

Flat tires will only be visually looked at without an appointment, (not sure what good that does) and you must make one a day in advance, although they don’t have any appointments available to make. If you have an emergency tire situation DO NOT COME HERE!I know, I know there website and listing doesn’t say by appointment only, but that’s the case. Do not drive 20 minutes across town and show up thinking they will Take you as a walk in. Even though the reviews say they take walk ins.The front desk lady was rude and insulting. Ummm, I can have someone visually look at your tire. But that’s all we can do!!! Excuse me? No, I don’t need you to have a tech walk out to my truck and stare at my tire, but thanks.

I was told after I pulled my car into the mat that instead of 15 per tire I would be charged 35 per tire. Because my tires were 18 inches. Not acceptable and I won’t go back. Bad customer service.
