In Alaska right now it’s nearly impossible to be seen for a tire changeover. However this Meineke shop did it on a Monday morning at 8:30 and I was done by 9:30 driving away with a smile. Treated professionally by everyone at the shop makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Great shop great employees great customer service 5 huge stars

I live in the valley and couldn’t find a place to change my tires for another two weeks. When I drove into Anchorage I called four auto shops. Two didn’t answer the phone, the third said they could get me in a week later. I called Meineke and they had a cancellation and could get me in the same day. Went in and it took 40 minutes and I could make it back home without traffic. Awesome job and excellent price!

I was super appreciative that they could get me in day of. Both people I interacted with were nice. Just did a tire changeover. They have very large removable signs on the side of the building that say “Tire Changeover $59.99”. I get my bill and it says $69.99 and when I ask why it isn’t the advertised price outside he says that they are from the Spring and points to a tiny piece of paper that was covered by other paperwork that they have printed and said something to the tune of “effective 9/1/21 Tire Changeovers are $69.99”. It still seems like a fair price, but seems like false advertising.

Went in for an oil change at 430pm, I was on my way by 530pm. Front desk receptionist was very professional, polite and willing to explain answers to my questions and Inquires.Ive never used these guys before, but Ill definitely be back. It was quick, nice and easy. Also cheap, only 35$ for an oil change for my 2017 Jeep Cherokee.

Had a flat tire repaired. Guy at the front desk doesnt seem to know what hes really doing as I had to tell him repeatedly what I was there for and my car info when I know Im in the system because Ive been taking my cars there for years. Prior counter guy Nathan was much better! Over all service was great. We were in/out in about 15mins, and didnt cost an arm and a leg like other shops!

Arrived 10 minutes early for my 7:30 appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. It was almost 8:15 by the time my car even went into the shop to begin service. And almost 9:30 before service was complete. If you know a customer is waiting why not let them know you wont be able to honor there appointment time.

The GM, Burt, was super nice. They got my car in and out in a timely manner. I’m very pleased with the price I paid. It was about $70 for a full synthetic oil change and a tire rotation. I found a coupon on their website for $10 off, as well. So I only paid $60. I will definitely be going here for any other work I need done on my car in the future. A lot of people online were complaining about the wait time. Keep in mind, EVERYONE is understaffed right now. Chill out. Arrange for a ride or a cab if you really need too. Don’t get mad at the people doing their job as fast as they can while under pressure. If you say you’ll “never go there again”, I’m sure they’re happy about it. They have PLENTY of business coming in.

This place used to be really good. Gave them 4 stars before but their service hasnt been the same since changing locations and owners. Poor service. No point in scheduling an appointment since they wont get to it at the scheduled time. Twice it happened to me. Didnt even call to notify me that they werent taking anymore appointments til I showed up. Very disappointing. Lost a loyal customer.

Excellent experience! Scheduled appointment online the day before and arrived to find the team waiting for me. I got right in (& out) for brake fluid flush and the team was very friendly. Will definitely return!

I had to get quite a bit of work done on my car after having it stored for around 15 months. I was looking to get things done in terms of priority, and Burt at Meineke was very patient and listen to everything that I was concerned about. Everything was done on the car within a short amount of time. I believe I received a fair and accurate estimate relatively what the final price was. I believe that all the repairs I needed were necessary and that I was not overcharged in the least. The only thing I can think of that I didn’t like was that they seemed pretty understaffed in the office area. That isn’t going to take away from my five-star experience however. A lot of people are having trouble hiring right now. Place was busy, people seemed happy with the service they were getting, and I will definitely do business with them again.

Quick service and convenient to book online. Didnt hard sell me on repairs I didnt need immediately. They finished the diagnostics, fixed the problem and called to let me know it was done in less than 3 hours.

These guys were awesome! Got me in early morning for an oil change and I was there less then an hour. While I was sitting there I was super impressed also BecAuse a guy had dropped his car off for new brakes on all corners and about twenty minutes later the guy came out and said man your brake pads are fine and don’t need to be replaced! I’m like whaaaaat? I’ve been to shops where they would have just changed them anyways. Good job guys. Will be back for sure!

I had call Friday afternoon for an estimate on a part and labor ,and they said they had it and had a spot open the following day on sat @1:30pm.I arrive on time for my appointment just for them to tell that they didn’t have the part that the place where they get it from it’s closed.So I to reschedule once again for Monday 5:30pm.I arrive on time for my appointment just for them to tell me once again that they didn’t have the part and that was scheduled wrong it was for Tuesday.So he proceeded to tell me he will call me tomorrow to make sure they have the part and give me a 10 percent off services , and that they will have someone pick up Jeep from work.I will not come here for any services highly irritating very unprofessional waste of time.I give them a 0.Update that never happen.I even rescheduled for last weekend sat at 10am I called before to make sure you guys had my part I was put on hold hung up on put on hold once more at this point I just didn’t even show up. I didn’t even get a call back or nothing. I didn’t want for my time to be wasted once more .Very unimpressed time wasted.Now I will have to look somewhere else for the parts I need and the service.

They got me in right away for a flat tire, it was done within an hour and for a good price. The customer service was great also!

I was told it would be a 10 hour job to look for an oil leak at 120 per hour shop time... Obviously I know thats not true, But being that I am a woman they think I dont know what I am talking about little did they know that I was raised around cars and trucks being worked on by my father I was always ask what this or what is this for how does it work so I learned alot from watching my father and asking questions about everything I called another Reputable auto shop deans automotive he said to figure out where it going to cost $62only to find the leak an tell me exactly what is wrong with my car I wouldnt recommend Meineke

Had scheduled an appointment for a tire changeover. I arrived twenty minutes early, was told it would be about an hour to change the tires and there were a couple of people ahead of me, but that the shop was moving pretty quickly. They did not begin work on my vehicle until nearly two hours past my appointment time, yet they took at least two vehicles in that arrived well after I did one of which was a walk-in appointment. I was offered no apology, the person running the counter gave the impression that I was wasting their time by being there.

If you need honest opinion that’s worth your money not here . Try CPR repair shop .

Car would stall for no reason in the middle of the road. Was able to restart each time, but scary as I m disabled.. Meineke reported a problem that I can’t remember the name but it cost $600. The problem reappear and appears to be very random. A week or so I experienced the same problem once then 3 times in one day. I called the shop and lady took call and asked to bring it in. Haven’t had time but will do soon.

DO NOT GO HERE! My appointment was at 1:15 pm for an alignment. I checked with the front desk after an hour had passed and they told me I would be the next vehicle. Apparently they were short staffed with only two mechanics. This should have been mentioned when I checked in. At 3:15pm, 2 hours after my appointment, they let another vehicle in front of me, whose appointment was an hour after mine, and told me I would be next at 4:15! I got my keys and left. I was told 1.5 hours in and out when I made the appointment. I feel like they made me wait bc I was in my military uniform. I will never go here again and pass on information about what happy one. I hope Meineke doesn’t respond with, “the issue is being escalated.” They obviously are not trying to fix the problem if it happens review after review.

On Tuesday, I used the website to schedule a tire change the same day. There were 3 times available. I get a call a few hours later saying they were short staffed and the earliest they can get me in is Thursday. Annoying, but excusable. I arrive at 1:30, exactly when Im supposed to get here. And I go to sit down. Minutes pass, and now its been over an hour. I take a look outside and my truck is still exactly where I parked it... By the time I get to ask the front desk, its been over an hour and a half. I ask what the deal is, and she says Im next in line. But my appointment is at 1:30!!! They should be ready to work on my truck when I get there! Thats the entire point of appointments! As of writing this, I am still waiting, my truck still hasnt moved and its 3:30... I cant recommended this place less, NEVER USE MEINEKE. I forgot to mention, none of the staff are wearing masks. They also dont enforce wearing a mask either, the two other people in the waiting room arent wearing masks either. Im really glad Im vaccinated...*Update- its 4:10 and they still havent even started*Update 2- 3 hours after my appointment was scheduled (1:30), they finally started working on my truck.*Update 3- its 5:30 and theyre finally done. I go up to pay, and she doesnt apologize, didnt offer any kind of discount. I dont want to be that guy, but I expected something! So I said that I waited 4 hours and not even a discount?. So she asks the manager, saying that I waited a generous amount of time, hiding the fact that Id been there for 4 hours. And she gives me a 10% discount... Really?! They didnt even do a good job either! My truck now veers to the right! But I couldnt stand the thought of going back and having to wait for them to fix it. Ive never been this angry at a company, hell, I havent been this angry at anything before, that I can remember anyway. Please, do your self a favor and go some place else, anywhere, I can almost guarantee it will be a better experience than what youll get at Meineke.

My tire popped by the Holiday gas station next door. My first popped tire so I was kind of scared. I realized they were next door so I went in and asked them to help. They were busy but they took the time to help me and went above and beyond. They put on my new tires and the front desk clerk was very nice as well, she made me feel better.

Had an oil change appointment scheduled today at 4:30. I came in spoke with the person at the desk with the glasses . He told me that they’re not taking any more people today because he had two people quit and one not come in. instead of calling me and letting me know, i had to find out when i came . I wasn’t notified until I got to the place for my appointment rather you have only two men and yourself or not you still get the job done . Rude and horrible customer service . Do not recommend !!

Great people and quality work. However… pretty pricey. Quote for parts and labor was literally 2x that of the dealership for replacing rear struts and gaskets. Not sure if it was a bad quote or what.

Since purchasing my Nissan Sentra I’ve taken it to Meineke for the routine oil changes. The price is unbeatable unless you change your own engine oil. Here in Anchorage I’ve tried many “quickie” oil change places in town, even some well known garages. But all those places charge a hundred bucks or more for a simple oil change. At Meineke, they get your vehicle in & out and the staff is friendly, for 24.95.

Went in for break pads, got told they were brand new.. Ask why is squeeking still, they replaced rotors and boom all gone. Sure it was a little more but they know what they were doing and got the problem fixed the first time!

The bathroom was so dirty I couldnt use it. The shop team member that came into the reception area didnt have on a mask while he spoke to a customer and reviewed documents.The receptionist, who later identified herself as the manager on a phone call, was unpleasant. She was just, very unfriendly. She took my information for contact but did not indicate I would be receiving texts messages from them by providing my telephone number. When I told her I didnt want to receive anymore, she shrugged her shoulders and told me to opt out. I tried that and here we are.I will not be back anytime soon.

Sat and waited 45mins after my schedule appointment for them to Finley get my vehicle In. No one talked to me about progress while I waited. Didn’t not ask me if I wanted new wiper blades being noticeable they needed changed. All around just poor customer service I won’t be coming back again.

Worst place and service ever, guy quoted me 1200 for brakes without even typing my year make and model in the computer, my 8 year old started laughing saying dad just buy a new car for that price and we walked out hahahaha

I have been going to Meineke for a couple of years and normally enjoy the customer service and my vehicle is in and out in 30 minutes. But I went this week and it took an hour and 15 minutes to get my oil change after I made an appointment ahead of time. I was disappointed and also upset that they didn’t look at my muffler as they said they would but didn’t know that until after I had cashed out.

Deserves negative 10 stars. Set appointment for bad brakes (safety issue) was called 4 hours prior to my appointment to be told they cant do it. They are not willing to work with you regarding scheduling. Completely useless. Who turns away an $800 service. Thats silly. Do not waste your time here. They do not value your safety or your time

I made an appointment first thing in the morning so I could get an oil change before work. They were running behind and when I explained that I needed to get to work they were very accommodating and flexible to make sure my car was done on time.

I made an appointment to get my tires changed and after I paid and got in my car I noticed dark stains on my inside door handle, which is cloth and instead of my tires all being put in the back of my car (because they can all fit back there) they put one in my back seat on top of my jacket and cloth seats and the bags they had put my tires in were dirty from being rolled around on the garage floor. Super unprofessional and inconsiderate. You take your car somewhere to people you don’t know and hope they take care of it and respect it and then things like this happen. I mentioned this to the gentlemen who had helped me when I dropped my car off and picked it up and showed him the dirt. He offered to clean it for me or for me to come back during the day to have it cleaned, which was nice but I don’t think I’ll go back.

I was charged $60 to replace a headlight - and I provided the bulb! When I questioned this - since the task took 12 minutes, the front desk person threw his hands up and said there was nothing he could do about what the computer charges. Then he shook his head and gave an exasperated sigh, as if I had no right to even ask. This is not the first issue I have had with their customer service - I wont be back. There are too many mechanics in town for Meineke NOT to care about their level of customer service and fair pricing. And thanks, Meineke, for your response to this Review - which did nothing to fix the problem or make me feel any better about your business, sorry.

Had an appointment at 9am to get my tires changed over and ended up waiting 4 hours! The people that work at Meineke are always friendly but it always takes forever because they’re consistently understaffed.

I wish I had the same experiences as the others who had positive experiences. I did have one positive experience where they installed a tire sensor - no issues. However, my windows stopped going down/up and I brought it in to get it fixed. This has happened to me before and I had it fixed at another mechanic. As I was waiting, I began to think they would not have it ready in time for me to get to work on time. However, they called me up just as I was about to call someone to pick me up, I wish I had. When I got to the counter I said something along the lines of needing to get to work. I stood at the counter for 20 minutes waiting for my key, no explanation, no apology, and was subsequently late for work. Strike one. I then made an appointment to drop it off for the day to get the window buttons fixed. Drop off was at 8:30, they open at 7:30. I got there around 8:25 and the door was locked. The receptionist looked up from her computer and saw me, but made no effort to let me in. Granted, its 24 Fahrenheit outside. I stood there for 5 minutes before getting in my car and pulling it up next to the door, where I waited another 5 minutes, during which, a mechanic came into the office, saw me, and went back to the garage. It seemed they were not going to make any effort to honor my appointment and I needed to get to work so now Im looking for a new mechanic.

The front desk attendant wasnt wearing a mask (despite a sign that said face masks are required). I had to wait a long time before he was present at the desk. When he did come out, I told him I had an appointment and he said he wasnt sure theyd be able to do it today. He then proceeded to make phone call after phone call about another issue without even further acknowledging my presence or explaining his earlier comment. I eventually left. Avoid.

My appointment was at 7:30am to simply have my winter tires changed out. I wasn’t even seen until close to 8 and then my car wasn’t done until 11:30am. Then they put my wheels in the backseat on my leather seats instead of in my trunk where they would have fit.Overall I was very unimpressed with this service.

I always had a great experience with Meineke. HOWEVER, because of COVID 19 and changed my own oil this summer and discovered the oil pan bolt had been tighten with an impact wrench and the oil pan cover was missing two screws. Unfortunately, if you want it done right, do it yourself.

Honest reliable service and people. They dont look for problems or create them. If they find something wrong while working on your vehicle they will say something and bring it to your attention. If I had ten thumbs theyd all be up. Thx fellas.

Please reconsider if you are going to Tuder Anchoage AK location. Extremely ill professional, they called to cancel first appointment because they were late. But on the 2nd appointment they made my son wait again for 3 hrs from the appointment time. Then behavior was extremely poor. The same problem happened last time as well.

1) Easy to make online appointment with lots of availability2) Unfortunately there was more of a wait than I expected despite having an appointment. It took 2 hours just for exchanging my winter tires. But they were apologetic and offered me a 10% discount due to the unexpected wait (without my even bringing it up) which was a nice gesture.3) Overall very friendly & fair customer service. Ive gone here for oil changes for my past vehicle and current vehicle and once for a tire change to winter tires this past year. I made an 8am appt for a tire changeover a couple of weeks in advance. When I made the appt the employee said it would take 45-1hr and I can wait there. I checked in for my 8am and waited in the lobby. At 9am, another customer came in for the same appt and my car was still sitting outside having not been attended to yet. She told the 9am customer that she would get him in next (while I was still there waiting). I then asked how much longer my car would be, because its still sitting out there and it has been an hour. She then told me there is still 2-3 cars before they can get me in. So it would take at least 2 hours before mine was done. I am infuriated that I just wasted an hour and a half of my morning driving there and waiting for nothing and she didnt bother to tell me they were behind when I checked in. Will never be going here again. Id rather pay $15 more at another place to get my car in on time and not have to wait in a dirty lobby.

I made an appointment with them online, got a call from them on the day of my appointment telling me that there was a computer malfunction. I rescheduled for a few days after. I called again to make sure my appointment was still on. They didnt evem put me in the schedule. I gave them one more shot, and scheduled for the same dayI get a text a few hpurs later reminding me of my appointment scheduled for the next dayI called th and told them i already made an appointment for this day. They told me they are npt going to be able to schedule me. Not using their services anymore

I dropped my car off for an oil change and tune up and left for work. I needed to pay over the phone while at work, so I gave them my CC info. He was about to charge it without even telling me the bill amount. When I asked, he said $306. This amount surprised me (because tune up costs are not listed anywhere on the website). When I asked about what was done during the tune up, all he could tell me was that they replaced the spark plugs. I asked them to email me the breakdown of the bill, and noticed that they chose the most expensive spark plugs. I am used to getting the option of price ranges, so I was frustrated that they didn’t run that by me. Overall, my experience was poor because of lack of communication. I’m sure that more went into it than just changing spark plugs, but they didn’t offer up any other info so I don’t know if I was overcharged. I also noticed they didn’t top off my fluids. Also, I asked them to leave my key under the car mat so I could pick it up after hours. The key wasn’t there when I came after work. I searched every compartment for it, was about to call an Uber to take me home when I found it up in the visor.

Got my car done faster and then expected.

I went in for new rear brakes. They messed it up so badly I almost got into an accident. I heard metal snapping and then my brakes failed. Got the car back there for them to fix it. Had to wait two days for “new” parts. Then, when I got my car serviced at the dealership it turns out those “new” parts were very rusted and obviously used. Also, any wait time they tell you, double or triple it. An oil change will take 3+ hours every time even when they tell you much less. DO NOT trust this place. They lie and clearly don’t have the skills needed to complete common jobs.

They had me in before my appointment. They didnt have a certain filter at the location so they called in for one and it got to them fast. They are all nice.

Least expensive, professional tire changeover in town... Tires up to 60mph seem perfectly balanced. I will be bringing them more business.

The team at this Meineke location did an amazing job. We called around 10am to see how many oil changes they could do for us, and they exceeded our expectations. Great crew with a can do attitude. Not only did they crank out 13 oil changes for us before 4pm, they also helped several other customers at the same time. Thank you!

EDIT: I had originally written the review before we got the car back — we had also asked the shop to check the other tires and they didnt, the alignment was off when we got the car back from them, and we actually ended up needing to take a different car where we were going. Very kind people but didn’t quite fix it all!We accidentally sheared the bolt off our wheel when trying to change a tire but HAD to leave town today — these guys heard our situation and made sure we could get it fixed today! They’re the best! Got on the phone with them quickly and they really cared about our issue. Thank you!!

Made an appointment, the car sounded horrible, weird knocks, grinding sounds, and overall scary to drive. Found out that the car needed a rear brake job, and a lot of other things done. The General Manger, Sawyer, told me they will be able to have it all done by tomorrow. The customer service is absolutely amazing. Sawyer is a friendly person with a very positive attitude towards his job. Highly recommend this place!

Neither the worker nor the customers were wearing masks even though there was a sign on the door saying they were required. If I can’t trust them to care about the safety of their customers, then I can’t trust them with my car.

I came here yesterday for an oil change after seeing the many positive reviews for it online and all if these reviews were accurate. I was provided with quick and high quality service and was not ripped off like I was before at some other auto repair centers back at home. I would certainly recommend going to this Meineke location if you need an oil change

So I asked them to do a thorough check for my car, and on the phone I specifically tell them to fix my steering wheel and tires. They completely forgot, and I have to drive here again with a flat tire, and broken steering wheel to fix and pay 2 hundreds dollars more. They also refused to admit or apologize for it. Really upset for them. I used to enjoy their service, but I dont think I will go there again.

On February 18th the intake processes with ryan went smoothly, he demonstrated patience with myself and many others while hanfling each client professionally. On the otherhand, when i picked up and paid for my two vehicles being repaired, a female sale associate was very rude and after using four $20 dollar bills for a synthetic oil change, she did not hand me my change. Then after i deducted the change for my 2nd and last repair explaining i overpaid the first time, she looked at me dumbfoundedly , was short or rude from then on out, and was unknowledgable when i asked her to describe the details of my 2nd and last repair

Ive taken two of my cars here for oil changes. The first vehicle said the front wheel bearings need to be replaces ($750) and the second vehicle needs new brakes ($700). I took both vehicles to get second and third options and both places said they were fine and didnt need to be done. Im not sure if this is a common thing, but just something to be aware of.

I have gone to Meineke for a long time to get my oil changes, but the lack of wearing masks when in customers’ cars and in their tiny lobby with no ventilation really freaked me out—how many people come in and out of a car repair place in a day? Tons.In addition to the lax COVID safety, I asked them to do a checkup on my car and they didn’t find a transmission issue that a different shop found immediately.

This place is always Fast, reliable, trustworthy and friendly. I love the respect I get from there staff. Thank you guys.

Person at the Front desk (Sebastian?) was very helpful and kept me up to date with the status of the vehicle. He worked very quickly in obtaining the needed parts for my older vehicle and the mechanic worked quickly so the work was completed that same day. I really appreciate the extra work they put into it so my daughter has a safe vehicle to drive.

Had N 11 am appointment. Left at 12 30 pm. Did service my car on time.

On time schedule, that I’ll less time than initially told. They completed oil change In half an hour. Also one of the cheapest in town.

Despite having an appointment for 8:15am, my car did not even get in to have my tires changed until 8:52. Keep in mind that this during a pandemic and I did not want sit in the waiting room. When my car was finally finished around 9:30, I had to wait for over 15 minutes outside the office waiting to just pay my bill and go. I did not want to go into the office to wait since at point their were 6 people sitting and waiting plus the person at the front desk (even though they have a note on the door stating that no more than 3 people could wait inside because of the pandemic). I am not impressed. I ended up spending nearly 2 hours outside when it was 15 degrees outside with no safe place to wait.

Meineke was incredibly busy, which is normal for this time of year.Overall they did well. Ill continue to go to them.

Austin is so awsome! Ive come Meineke 4 times now. Fixed my cooling line , switched tires. And recently for a checkup. They may cost a little more then some shops but they make up for it in honesty. I feel safe with them and that is worth paying a little more. They take good of me and my car.

These guys are the best!! Even when presented with challenges, they have risen to the occasion and gotten the job done. They have shown me great service, they have always taken good care of my vehicles, and they have always been trustworthy. Their prices are reasonable, and they have never made up stuff that doesnt exist because they think Im stupid, like most other places I have been. I will continue to go back when I need my vehicles serviced. Thank you Dan and your staff!

This is a great place to go for a tire change. I have been coming here for over two years and I am not disappointed.

I recently went here for an oil change. The service was fine and I thought that I had an honest mechanic. They told me that I needed to replace my brakes, flush the fluids in my vehicle, and get a new air filter. I told them to replace the air filter but the fluids were just flushed 3 years ago. They shouldnt get dirty that quickly. So I scheduled a brake inspection with another mechanic. Meineke quoted me over $800 to have my pads replaced. Midas said that the brakes were fine and still had plenty of wear on them. Disappointed in another dishonest mechanic from Meineke

I would give these guys negative Stars if I was able to. I called to make an appointment for an oil change and brake change and Dan on the phone only recorded a brake change and they had no time to do an oil change. When I got there I waited all day because they ordered the wrong parts when they said it would only be an hour to two hours. When I left them at closing time they did not take my car for a test drive and immediately upon leaving my brakes were not fixed properly and I had to return my car immediately after they closed with no one there and no car to get home. The next day they called me and told me that my rotors miraculously seized up while the car was in their shop. (they broke them and wouldnt own up to it. They were fine when I gave them the car) so I ended up paying a whole bunch more money and promised a free oil change and free brake fluid. I got the free oil change but they charge me for the brake fluid and upon inspecting the receipt they secretly added in the charges for the oil change. I called customer care their 800 number to make a formal complaint and they told me they would call me back. I never heard from them. I do not recommend going here and if you do check your receipt closely because Dan is very good at hiding the extra charges. Do not trust your car to these people.

This place is poorly managed with an extremely unprofessional shop manager Sebastian. I chose to take my car here for a brake inspection and service on my squeaky brakes because of a coupon I had from the local value pack. First, they dont answer their phone here so I had to make an appointment online without speaking to anyone first. After the inspection I was told I needed my rear brake pads and drums replaced. The coupon I had was supposed to cover the service and parts for $219. Basically Sebastian told me that it was a corporate coupon and it didnt cover the drums, because they dont do rotor resurfacing there and he had given me a better deal by taking 50% off the brake pads, and put the labor down to $219. How is it a better deal when Im still paying for something that the coupon is supposed to include? I stated my case, and he took off the cost of the pads, but not without passive aggressively commenting to me about how he wasnt going to argue with me. There was no argument, just a customer trying to understand why I should pay for something that an offer is supposed to cover. He arrogantly stated that he was giving me a good price and that it would be over $1,000 elsewhere (untrue). Prior to that I had been waiting for over 40 minutes in the lobby and observed his arrogant attitude with another customer questioning her estimate, and him assuring her he was giving her a great price, and using profanity to emphasize his points. His attitude was off-putting, and I was uneasy about giving this place my business so I walked outside to call Midas for a quote, they immediately answered and gave me pricing. Same or less than Meineke. I asked for my service to be cancelled and for my keys back, and as I walked out the door he said with an attitude, good luck. I felt it was an unnecessary and unprofessional way to verbally retaliate against losing the sale he was trying to over-inflate. So I gave him my feedback as to exactly why I was leaving. I told him I was taking my business elsewhere because I did not trust in the level of quality and professionalism of this business based on my interaction with him and what I had observed. His little ego couldnt take it and he became downright rude and combative as I left. My advice.. save yourself time, money and the experience of this guy and take your business elsewhere.

Made an appointment a week ahead of time to get an alignment done the day before a long road trip. Confirmed the appointment before driving into Anchorage from the valley for the appointment. I’m told when I show up that there alignment machine is down. No one even made an attempt to contact me in any way!! No I don’t have time to get it done before my trip tomorrow. Worst customer service and shop I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

I was able to walk in and get the tires changed on my truck with no wait. The man at the front was courteous and informative. Will definitely use them again.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, and while the store didn’t have my filter on hand (#Suzukiproblems) they made it right by seeing me the next day and offering superior deals on the service provided, as well as fixing a broken headlight.At most auto mechanics, I feel like I’m having my pants pulled down about the price, and necessity of certain services. But the Cat, at the front desk, and the rest of the staff at this location really made me feel taken care of. I will be bringing my vehicles to them for the foreseeable eable future.

The gentlemen working the desk were friendly and professional. They had a great turn around time and price. I will definitely return!
