I have just moved in to my new apartment. They were wonderful following the whole process and were very helpful accommodating my needs. The manager Brittney is on top of things and super helpful. It has been a surprise to find neighbors very quiet and respectful. The place and halls are clean and well kept. Although it’s an older building things are taken care of. The only thing I’d like is to have more storage spaces in the kitchen for example. Other than that I am happy with my choice.

Jessica was very welcoming, knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. Her patience was very appreciated during this extra stressful time of moving!

We have lived here for about a year, and while there have been a few issues similar to any other complex, this place is a good value, and the staff is nice and has been responsive every time we’ve had a complaint. Brittany at the front desk is wonderful, she kept the sidewalks clear all winter and had brought packages up to our apartment when we didn’t make it do the office, and she just seems to go above and beyond for people. These things have made us look over flaws in the building, this place is not fancy but feels we have enjoyed our stay so far!

Moving to Alaska is a difficult and anxiety-provoking process for most of us. This process for me was made far easier by the staff at Ladera Villa, and this continued to be the case until we moved out. Whenever issues arose for us, both personally and as tenants, the staff did everything they could to ensure that we had a great experience living there. The value you get by staying at Ladera Villa is hard to find elsewhere, with heat included, great views (if you pick the right unit, I highly suggest the third floor), and it is extremely accessible to downtown and midtown. I have paid other landlords far more, and received far less for my money. The staff at Ladera deserve more praise than is currently reflected online. Thank you for all you do!

My husband and I with our dog lived in Ladera for about 6 months and we really enjoyed it. The community is very nice and we felt really safe. Rose is very sweet and is usually responsive. We transferred our lease before completion and it went smoothly.Maintenance wasnt always done quickly but the only problem we had was the outlets didnt hold a plug. The problem was never corrected or responded to when we sent in a request. We had some issues with paying the rent online. There were two return payments at the on start(the deposit and first months rent) because the routing number wasnt right. From then on they wouldnt allow us to pay online and we had to use money gram. Not a huge deal, just inconvenient.

Decent place to live, community is friendly and quiet. Management has improved greatly from the debacle it once was. Great location.

Piece of s*** place to live. Complaints are never handled, office is never open. They told me things that ended up to be lies so I would sign my lease. They initially gave me a price per month & told me all we had to take care of was electric, now we pay all utilities. They lost our lease with this info on it & made us sign a new one so we would agree to what they are forcing us to pay. Overall this is the worst place Ive ever lived & for the same price or even cheaper there are many better options. Ive tried dealing with management & all they do is lie to me & threaten us. 0/10 would NOT recommend

I wish I could give this company no stars. They own all the apartment complexes in Alaska. My husband was stationed in Alaska at JBER. He recieved his notice on 2 June that he was supposed to PCS to fort lewis, Wa. He then gave the apartment complex, Ladera Villa in Anchorage, that he would be leaving, but because he did not give 30 days notice, he has to pay for the entire amount of rent for July. His lease is even up July 9th but still must pay the entire July rent. We didnt even have orders to leave Alaska 30 days out but yet we are apparently supposed to read the Armys mind and give notice before we get told we have to leave. Its awful theyre taking advantage of a lot of people and leeching onto military families. Their apartments themselves are gross as well. There was constantly animal feces in the hallways as all the apartments in Alaska are indoors, garbage just thrown out into the stair wells as people are apparently too lazy to walk their dogs or take out the trash in the winter. The management office is ALWAYS closed, and nothing is done to fix any complaints about the feces and garbage. They say they have cameras to watch and if someone does something they can see it but theyre all hanging out of the wall and people are getting their laundry stolen constantly out of the laundry room, and of course the cameras were not working at the time so basically they dont care about their tenants or buildings. Just about collecting their money. Way to go Weidner properties. Youre officially the trashiest places in Anchorage, and thats saying something
