We were looking for a new Vet and found this place.. we are so happy we found it💯🙌 Our Twinkie got her shots and nail trim.. the Dr. was super sweet and caring.. definitely recommend prices reasonable.. not too shabby 🙌🤩

My dog got fleas from here!!! My dog sat in there alone for 2 hours before being seen for his scheduled appt. I had to call for them to tell me he’s ABOUT to be seen and that he should get 2 vaccines that he’s already had. I GAVE HIM HIS VACCINE HISTORY CARD! Never told me his weight, name is wrong on the receipt even though I clearly wrote it on the paperwork, and all together this place is a mess. They don’t even know whose dog has what owner.

I have been coming to Affordable Animal Hospital before Dr. Toledo was the owner. He has been nothing but caring and concerned for all my babies. He even slept at the hospital with my first baby when she had knee surgery. 😊 I moved from Anaheim and I still come back and use him as my vet! When my babies needed an expert in cancer, he sent me to an awesome specialist. I would recommend Dr. Toledo to everyone! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. ❤️❤️

I called to ask a question and the receptionist said she would ask the veterinarian as soon as she can and 6 hrs passed and nothing I called back and they put me on hold for 20 min I hung up called right back and they kept sending to voice recording saying they were closed. So rude!!!

I have been bringing my four dogs and one cat here for over 10 years and recommend this place to friends and family. I would never think that the owner would be so greedy and not even consider how many years of loyal business I have provided his company. Customer service is his last priority, very disappointed with our last experience, and the owner refuses to work the issue out in any wa.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE, DO NOT COME HERE, AS THE VET (WHO CALLS HIMSELF TOLEDO) WILL NOT FULLY TELL YOU WHATS WRONG WITH YOUR PET. HE IS GOING FOR YOUR POCKETS IN THE LONG RUN. HIS METHODS AND WAYS OF PRACTICING ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, HE IS NOT RELIABLE ALSO VERY HESITANT. WHEN HE OFFERS TREATMENT FOR YOUR PET. THIS PLACE NEEDS INSPECTION DONE ASAP.

I would recommend this clinic! I had my 7mo old dog spayed. I was a bit worried as she was already in heat, I just dodnt want to get taken for a ride in vet Bills. Bu this clinic took care of our baby dog! Staff is friendly and helpful.Almost forgot: I live a bit of a ways from here, but this clinic was the only place within a 10 mile radius that actually gave me a quote on the phone. Most places near where I live(yorba Linda), took anywhere from 24 to 48hours to get back to me. It pays to have a staff who is competent! Thanks!!

I took my dog here who ended up having cancer and had to be out down. The staff always showed empathy and gave multiple options for treatment and care for the best quality of life. We moved an hour away and I will still bring my animals here because I know I can trust them with my beloved pets.

I would give Dr. Toledo, and his staff, a 10. +++++ rating, if i could. They were some willing to help. Dr. Toledo was very knowledgable about, Baileys care. He was great. Bailey stayed over, night. Picked her up, with a clean bill of, health. Thank you, to. a wonderful Vet, Dr. Toledo and his great staff. For taking such great care of my cat! I love this little cat, so much!

I took my step daughters dogs to get fixed and get their shots. Vet was very nice and knowledgeable, staff was friendly and wait time was minimal. I took my dogs for itching and got flea meds. Really liked this place.

If I could leave negative stars I would. The doctor was very rude and unwilling to help my friend’s dog who needed emergency surgery all because they went in too “late” in the day despite it being during normal business hours. I would recommend going somewhere else if you want an animal hospital that is actually compassionate about helping people’s beloved pets.

Been coming here for a few years. My 13lb pom mix has big ears and therefore ear infections are an issue. I have him washed here and regular ear cleaning. Ive had tooth extraction and board my dog regularly here. Boarding is hard to find in OC because everywhere else markets themselves as Luxury pet hotels. I just need a safe place to leave my dog where hell be taken out 2x/day. And a wash on the day of pickup means hes super clean when I get home from vacation

My 13 year old dog was dying and her normal vet was in the hospital. I called Affordable Animal Hospital and asked if they could perform euthanasia on my 84 lb dog. I also said I want to be present for the procedure and I would take her body after the procedure. I was quoted $143 for the procedure. I arrived at the vet obviously upset and crying. I was then told that the price I was quoted was to not be present and if I wanted to be present then it would be $238 instead. Shame on the vet for price gouging at this most horrible time. I dont know why my presence should cost almost $100 more. It makes me wonder how humanly they euthanize animals when the owner is not present. I immediately left and took my baby to another hospital where they humanly and compassionately ended her suffering.

Dr. Toledo is an awesome vet. He cared for my first baby Chico until his last day, he was very caring and understanding. He never pushed any unnecessary treatments. Appointments are easily available. Ive now started to bring my new dog. I dont see myself going anywhere else for my dogs treatment.

Visited AAH when I got my first puppies. They had a little cough. This “affordable” vet was $258 for a visit and some cough pills, the care was bare minimum at least. I was told the visit would be comped if the dogs needed treatment and this was incorrect. I was better off going to a major animal hospital for better care. The place wasn’t horrible, but wasn’t great.

I called to make a appointment and they put me on hold right away and waited for long time

The place seems rushed, they started off great but the last time I took my dog they clearly had the wrong weight, they were off by around 40 lbs. Dont bring your pets here they clearly wont receive the attention they deserve.

I took my dog to get spay to this place. Im very pleased with their service and their caring for my dog. Their prices are reasonable and affordable. All the staff members were very nice and professional. Definitely I will keep bringing my dog to this place.

FRAUD! Read the reviews before going. Lots of reviews talk about how they raised prices once you arrive. I wasnt even there yet and they told me that the $39 exam quoted on the website is actually $45. I immediately cancelled. If thats how things are going to go before I am even there I can only imagine what will happen once the vet actually diagnoses my best friend. CONSUMER BEWARE.

If I could give this place a lower rating than one star I would. The reason why I wanted to bring lucky here was because were 2 miles (5 min) away, he needed medical attention.July 9,2019 @ 1:00PM- I actually called to go over pricing and what was the wait time in between patients. They said there were fully booked and even if we would show up, they wouldn’t assure us being seen! They should really reconsider there name, from my knowledge Hosptial shouldnt denied patients that desperately need emergency medical care when they go to a hospital!

I have been taking my 2 cats here for the last 10 years. My most recent visit was 1 month ago when my female Himalayan cat, Chasca, got a tumor next to her lung and had to be euthanized. Dr. Toledo did everything possible to try to save her life but he knew as well as I did that there was nothing that could be done. He handled the situation professionally and as well as any caring doctor would. Dr. Toledo has always treated my animals with kindness and respect. The fees are very affordable.

They cared for my dog for many years. I felt I always got advice that was important for the health of the dog not just to line the pockets of the vet. He always seemed highly knowledgeable, experienced, and most importantly he seemed to genuinely care for my dog. This place will give you the best, most companionate care at the best prices Ive seen. You cant ask for a better vet.

We been with Dr Toledo for a long time. Even though we moved to Yorba Linda 5 years ago, we still come to him. The staff are very nice. Dr Toledo is honest and very resourceful. He will not push unnecessary procedures or medications. Hes very good at what he does and really cares his patients.

Affordable indeed!!! Awesome Vet and staff. My Husky Skye was hit by a car because he had found a way out of the house. No animal hospital was open early in the morning so I ended up taking him to a different place first which were also really good but pricy. My brother told me of this place in Anaheim, he made the appointment for me to take Skye. Place is far for me but it was worth the drive. The staff, and the Vet were great and the price was much reasonable. Of course also thanks to my family pitching in. What I would’ve paid for at the first place just on X-rays I received much more done at Affordable Animal Hospital!!!

I checked their website and they said they did new clients first examination for free. Big lie, I had to pay. The doctor hardly touched my cat during her examination. He checked her heartbeat and that was it. He hardly spoke to me as well, he just came and gave her her shots and left. $90 was what I paid. If the doctor would have actually examined my cat I wouldnt have been so mad and giving such a bad review but alas. Dont recommend this place for vaccinations and examinations. Petsmart has a vet program with them thats 100% more affordable and effective.

If I could give him more than 5 stars. I would. DR Toledo is an amazing vet. He saved my dogs life. I dont regret taking her to this place. Both the staff and the doctor are very friendly . Dr. Toledo knows what he talks about and he properly diagnosed my dog. My dog was in critical condition, on the edge of death. She was vomitting non stop for 2 weeks and not eating. Dr. Toledo acted quickly and. After 2 weeks she finally ate and now is at home. Thank you so much Dr Toledo. I really appreciate your hard work and honesty. I will be continuing taking my dogs to this place. Very happy with his service ! I recommend him !

I love them. Kind, upbeat office staff. Dr. Toledo is very nice and really listens. Prices are definitely pretty great for Orange County.

Prices are reasonable if thats all youre looking for :-( they failed to perform are requested procedure, spaying a kitten and accidentally chipped one but couldnt recall which one. Very sloppy. Luckily no one died

We have been coming here for years. I couldnt tell you enough about how wonderful Dr. Toledo is! He is genuine and truly cares about my dogs. He is honest and upfront about everything. His staff is also great! I recommend him to everyone I know!

Dr. Toledo is an outstanding Vet, he has been taking care of my little male Chihuahua Chico for 9 years and my Little Chihuahua mix Lily for 7 years. I would not take my Pets anywhere else. Dr Toledo has always showed a great concern for my pets and his staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Toldedo is very knowledgeable, professional, and kind - to both the clients and their pets. He never tries to oversell anything and you can tell he genuinely has passion for what he does. My four cats and I always feel very well taken care of during our visits. Hands down THEE BEST veternarian in town.

This guy is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! First started going to Dr. Toledo in the late 90s and since that time he has overseen the health of all of our dogs. In all these years I have only heard him refer to them as dogs once when he said my older guy was a good dog, otherwise he always calls them his patients, and based on my experiences, I know he truly gives 100% every time. There might be cheaper out there, but you get what you pay for. In the case of my first buddy, Dr Toledo operated when everyone else was talking about quality of life and putting him down, and several wonderful years later when it was the right thing to do, Dr. Toledo was with us when we had to make that decision. 2 years ago when one of my boys tore his ACL and couldnt walk, Dr.. Toledo took care of it. Today we were in shots and, as usual, everything was taken care of with that same smile we have seen for years. I WOULD PUT THIS GUY UP AGAINST ANY VET ON THE PLANET!!!!

Dr Toledo is a very good doctor. He does Takes care of all my dogs. But some of the people who works there are not too friendly and accommodating ( like Rosa)..

Ive always had a hard time with vets because I never feel fully informed. I have taken my dog to 4 different vets over the course of 4 years, to try figure out what the lump on her back was. In 4 years I recieved several different explanations, none of which made sense to me, and the most recent vet wanted to charge me upwards of $500 to run some tests. Dr. Toledo told me every possible outcome of said tests and gave me a price of $150 to take a sample and send it to the lab. Not only was he incredibly intelligent and informative, he genuinely cared that I find the answer I need to make her well again, and offered several solutions to what eber the issue may be. Anxiously awaiting lab results, but he assured me that it seems to just be a lypoma, and that they can cause a dog discomfort (previous vet told me lypomas dont hurt therefore it couldnt possibly be a lypoma), and can be removed for a reasonable amount. The staff up front was very kind to me (as I walked in, in tears) and had me in the back IMMMEDIATELY. I mean I basically say for the 5 mins she entered my info into the computer and that was it. Amazing office, fantastic staff, excellent veterinarian. I will always bring my pets here as long as I live in the area.

Excelent service, i had hard time finding a good vet that could her my dog with allegies, and the vet nail it. I had seen a lot of Drs. Even the low cost clinic at Garden Grove, nothing compare to this one, at the low cost the dr. Refuse to give more injections to my dog because his allergies and send me to an allergic specialist that cost $40 the examination. Then i went to other dr. Near Euclid and la Palma and he gave my dog an injection and 2 meds but did not want me to refill until he had perfomed a liver test wich it was going to be another $50 on the top of the $235 already paidLast resource was this clinic and Dr. Toledo tryed 2 diffenent med. On my dog and he is perfectly fine. With out forcing me to do any extra test.

Ok i dont usually write reviews but this was both scary and amazing. my 9 week old pup was having blood in his stool so i stayed up all night with him making sure he didnt die on me or something, i called in to make my appointment as soon as they opened and when i asked for something early the nurse seemed concerned and asked is this an emergency? which helped my tension. Once getting there, no line, just one page to fill, quick and once i told dr. tolehdo (sp?) what the symptoms were he quickly told me what i expected, parvo or worms, he came back wiht a paper saying how much both test would cost and if id want both or just one, not forcing me into anything else unwanted, after he tested negative for both (thank goodness) he told me he would give my Jinx an injection (dont remember for what) and gave me other medication to help my pup, only AFTER everything was done did he mention their wellness plan on vaccinations/neutering/spaying which seemed like a much better plan than banfields 31$ a month (not to mention their schedule is 2 weeks in advance....) all in all120 for the visit, parvo, and tapeworm testing, totalling 200 with the medicine and food he prescribed (for intestinal problems) which i felt was a neutral price, didnt hurt and im so happy i know my Jinx is gonna be ok.
