Im not sure of the gentlemans name but he does an amazing job of customer service. He is quick the greet you, handles hour package carefully, and does a good job of answering all your questions quickly. Fantastic job of getting you in and out the door again without coming across as pushy.

I would have given them 5 stars, but they do not have a button to push for an automated door opener. I am disabled and use a scooter to get around. I always have to wait outside till someone else comes to hold the door for me.Dont they get it that people have their hands full when they come to their business? Plus, those of us that are disabled have difficulty getting through any door besides with something in our hands. An automated door is a must for their business.

The UPS employee I worked with has been a tremendous help everytime Ive been in the store, going above and beyond to satisfy my needs and assure me of the delivery process. I couldnt be more satisfied as a customer. They have convenient parking and very fast service. The store layout is spacious and clean.

This is my Go to place for all my shipping. They are very friendly and take the time to make sure you get what you want! They take personal care in making sure your packages are safe and ship in a timely manner. I highly recommend this office for anything they offer.

The girls at our UPS store are the greatest. They were so helpful in trying to find a way to possibly help my mom find a cheaper way to pack her boxes to save money when told her package was going to cost $125. They spent a lot of time with us, and with a smile!

Quick and professional. Also has some simple supplies at the store if you need to buy packaging things before sending it out. Close enough to the cyride stop to ship Amazon rental text books back after the semester. Also sells text book boxes.

We decided to pull the plug on our Directv subscription and needed to pack up and return all the equipment wed been renting. We were instructed to take it all to UPS and that the clerk there would do the rest. The process could not have been easier; the clerk was a lovely woman named Meena. She scanned the green stickers on the bottom or back of all the equipment I had put into a box, had me sign for the receipt, then sent me on my way. I appreciated that she knew exactly what to do so I could be in and out in less than ten minutes.

You will never know how much your wonderful service meant to me. My Mother was in hospice care and I was sending personal items to my parents two goddaughters and my aunt. in 3 states. You were very patient with my three shipping groupings. You packaged everything wonderfully and they all arrived perfectly. My Mother passed away they day after I was in your store. The recipients all received their items in the days following her funeral and they meant the world to them. Sometimes an item which appears to have no value is priceless to the person receiving it. Horrible experience delivered my package to the wrong address nobody’s available to answer the phones finally got ahold of a representative for ups call service and she tells where the package was delivered I got the ups store it was delivered to they have no idea where my package is they say it hasn’t been picked up but don’t have it on there store? So where is the package?

The staff (owners?) of this store were very helpful and friendly, even though my recipients account number could not be used as it was blocked. I only learned afterwards that this was because of the nature of the goods. They even taped up my box for me.

Service was friendly and professional. We had two pictures packaged and shipped to arrive at a later date. Package was delivered on scheduled day and arrived in excellent condition. Very pleased with quality and efficiency of service.

I felt very welcomed when I walked in. They took my package that I brought in that wasn’t sealed and finished packing, sealed and labeled. They totally amazed me compared to the other shippers around and I’ll go the extra mile for their great service. I will definitely recommend them to businesses, friends and family.

I use this UPS store frequently and the service is great. I send often to the same address and because they keep all addresses on file it is quick and easy.

Friendly staff, helpful...but at a cost.I was using a prepaid label which Id forgotten to print out beforehand. They gave me an email address to email it to them, which I did in the store from my phone. They printed it out, and then got a box for the book that I was shipping. However after ringing me up, the total came to almost $9! This was prepaid shipping, mind you.I asked why it was so expensive and she told me it was $4.50 for this little box, including the two strips of tape theyre going to need to enclose it, and another $3 for the 3 pieces of paper that had printed including my shipping label at $1 each page.I know for a fact that black and white pages cost anywhere from $0.03 to $0.05 per page on a laser printer like the one they use. Those boxes dont cost them any more than a quarter each. So for probably $0.45 in cost they charged 20 times that. I understand cost of doing business, but nobody expects a 95% margin unless theyre robbing you blind.

I love the UPS Store at 809 Wheeler Street in Ames. Weve been using them for over five years now. We have a PO Box so that we can send our UPS deliveries to them. They know our name, are efficient, and very helpful when we have shipping issues other than receiving and sending. We drive across town to retrieve our packages from the UPS Store on Wheeler Street. And even if a UPS store opened closer to us in Ames (near the Jack Trice Stadium or West Ames) we wouldnt change locations. Thats how much we love the UPS Store on Wheeler Street in Ames.

They did a great job of shipping a piece of furniture (also a family heirloom) for me. It ended up being sent through UPS freight because it is so big, but they coordinated the shipment and built the box. It was a little expensive, but the customer service and speed of delivery made it worth it.

Employees here are fantastic. When I drop off packages, I often do not even have time to tape them or affix the label. I just give them the box and they take care of everything, and within a couple hours I get an email notification that it has shipped. The worst experience I have had is just having to wait a bit if they are busy.

I re-route my packages here all the time. The staff is friendly, efficient, and knowledgable. I also come to this location to drop off my UPS packages since they are normally on the last route for pick up (~6pm ish). I would highly recommend giving them a visit if you need to ship stuff out or if you need your UPS packages held.

Took two returns for Amazon to them and they took care of everything! It was very easy.

After ownership change this store has gone downhill. Expect to spend 20+ minutes to get a task handled. Theyre nice and courteous, but organization and efficiency is non-existent.

In a digital age a sign on the door stating a closed date is not sufficient, especially when the stores website allows me to pick this date where the store is closed as the day I am to drop off my package.
