I recently purchased a 7x12 enclosed tandem axle trailer from Lone Peak Trailers.Randy was extremely helpful and was very patient as I worked through an issue with my bank. I could not have asked for, or expected, any better service!Caleb was likewise extremely helpful and great to work with when hooking up the trailer.Very satisfied with the experience of buying this trailer from Lone Peak Trailers.Only complaint I have is with Pace and an issue with the man door on the trailer. When I mentioned the issue to Lone Peak they immediately offered to fix it if I brought the trailer in.It was simply more convenient and expedient to fix it myself than drag the trailer back to American Fork. After a bit of filing on the strike side of the door frame the door closes nicely and the dead bolt will engage as expected.My issue with Pace is that there is no way whomever assembled the door and installed the latch and strike could not have noticed it did not close properly at all no matter how hard it was slammed or pushed on!To allow a trailer with such a silly and obvious problem to leave the assembly facility is pathetic and there can only one of two possible reasons -1 - Pace management is unwilling to allow assembly workers to take time to fix issues they clearly must have been aware of because they have a quota to meet.Or -2 - The assembly workers have absolutely no sense of pride in their workmanship and/or there is no QA process at PaceI give Lone Star Trailer, Randy and Caleb 5 stars.Pace assembly/quality control needs some rework.Fred

They were even able to accommodate a last minute request for an electric tongue jack, and have it installed same day. We live in Cheyenne, Wy, but because of trailer shortages had to come all the way here to pick one up. We were so happy with Randy and JT (compared to other trailer buying experiences closer to home) that when we need another trailer, we will buy from here again!

Trailer purchase was mostly straightforward, they do not accept personal checks, even when your address is tied to your license plate registration. I would have expected more conversation on what options they offered for the trailer, they just wanted to get me out the door at the end of the day.

I showed up to pick up a rental trailer and found out that their computer system was down and was told I’d have to wait for it to come back on line. Might be 30 minutes or several hours they said. Bad timing as I was headed out of town to a wedding and couldn’t wait long at all. They got things running quickly and Randy gave me a nice discount for my trouble. He also allowed me to drop the trailer off a day early which was a huge help! They went above and beyond to help me out. I won’t hesitate to use them in the future!

Paid $800 more than the quote from last year. I get that things have gone up given the pandemic inflation but pretty poor customer service and wouldnt even throw in a lock. Told that I didnt need to register the trailer, then received a mailed form that said it did need to be registered. Go somewhere else if you can.

I bought a 16’ flatbed 6 years ago from Lone Peak and its been the best trailer ive ever had. Being a general contractor I use it 5x a week. I stopped in today around lunchtime unannounced to see about replacing the jack as I had just broke mine and these guys treated me like family! Nicki and JT were both super friendly and went above and beyond in helping me locate a jack that would not just work for my setup but was an upgrade from the original. The day got even better when JT offered to squeeze this into his already busy schedule and 90 min from the time I walked in I was back on the road. Nicki and JT are the best! I spent 1 1/2 months calling on trailers, sending emails, asking for simple checks on trailers so I can purchase one.After over a month of dealing with the green and yellow alligator, and not getting a reply over cut and paste of specs. (All I wanted was length from neck to taillights)I called Lone Peak, all of the salesmen were busy. I about gave up, a couple hrs later Randy called me back. I explained to him my needs, he informed me one was in stock, actually walked out to the trailer and checked to see if it has sliding wenches and a side tool box. Took all of 20 minutes to have it checked and sent me an invoice.In about 24 hrs from start to finish I own a trailer. Mind you, I drive a truck, Randy did this with me in Tennessee and him in Utah. We were gifted a used hobby trailer That needed a new wiring. My husband and I diligently followed the DIY instructions on the package and in our minds it was perfect— until we plugged it into our pickup and None of the lights worked! Disappointed in our lack of success, we did our best effort to troubleshoot the problem from home using all our resources (computers, IPhones, YouTube videos, even a number of our “trailer savvy neighbors, but to no avail. So we decided to drive it over to Lone Peak Trailers for some expert advice. When my husband drive into your AF location he was immediately met by two personable, very kind and patient young men (Austin and Spencer). They listened carefully, asked a few questions and started understanding the problems we had encountered. The next thing I knew was that they were inspecting the wiring, etc. and began to pull our some small tools. They spliced a couple wire and we were on our way! Problem solved! Before we left my husband asked what we owed the for such excellent service and their replies were ‘Not a problem, glad we could help, and Have a great day!’ If we’re ever in the market to purchase another trailer, Lone Peak Trailer will certainly get our business and we will pass this experience onto others as a fabulous example of how to really treat customers well! No communication WHATSOEVER from Nikki and their service department. I was told a wiring a harness would not take very long a week ago maybe a day, now they are telling 2-3 days to get it dont and thats a pretty quick turn around. Originally I asked them to inspect the wheel bearings on the Trailer, they didnt write it down in their notes a week ago when I talked to them on the phone. When I ask about it today theyre going to tack on another hour of Labor just to to inspect the freaking wheel bearings. These guys will nickle and dime you to death. Terrible customer service in the service department terrible communication. I expected better.

All I wanted was help finding fenders, got helped with as little effort as possible. Was told they could go measure but that they simply didnt. Honestly blown away by how little the tried/cared

What great service! I had to pick up a ramp for our trailer since our ramp was stolen.I was initially told the ramp could be ordered in and would be here next week. I was going to have to drive back from up north to pick up a ramp.Randy then can along and said and asked a few more questions and was able to get me the ramp before I left the store.I was like, “YES!” Often times people forget there are side stories to each customer which are not heard. Randy was just concerned about me having to return again the following week and accommodated my purchase that day.What he didn’t know was that, we were going to need to go get my daughter’s car and that wait time would have put us a week behind. What he didn’t know was that I was already frustrated because my GPS led me to some place in Saratoga Springs and I would have been here 30 minutes sooner. What he didn’t know was that me walking out of that store with the ramp that day determined a course of event over the next few days.So thank you, Randy and team. Of all things that went right, the trek to Lone Peak Trailers was a good choice.

I bought a wood-bed trailer here more than 25 years ago and it has been fantastic. The wood bed finally started to deteriorate so I took it in to Lone Peak to have them replace it. They quoted me $825 and said it would take 2-3 weeks. Instead, they were done the next day and charged me $650. The new bed looks great! I think this is one of the top ten best customer experiences I have ever had (and Ive been around awhile)!

The trailer we bought from them is 5 star but the attention to the transaction by the staff at this dealer is 1 star. Through a series of clerical errors on their part (nothing at all related to COVID delays), the registration and plates for our trailer has taken over two months to get processed. And theyd still be unprocessed if I hadnt called a few days after our temporary tag expired a few weeks ago to see where they were so they could find their second mistake. Heres the kicker - after all these mistakes *on their part*, I didnt get even an inkling of an apology. The person responsible for registrations even threw her manager under the bus today on the latest mistake after throwing the sales rep under the bus on the first mistake. Now were heading out of town with the trailer for two weeks and yet again with no plates, and no time to stop by to pick them up. Reading other reviews, this organization needs a serious overhaul when it comes to customer service and attention to detail. I wont recommend this business to anyone, particularly when there are so many other trailer dealers along the Wasatch Front.

Bought a Big Tex utility trailer from Lone Peak a couple of weeks ago and had a great experience. Mike was great at answering all my questions and was in constant communication with me regarding the status of my trailer order as the one I decided on wasnt in stock. They gave me a realistic date of when the trailer would be available and were quick to get me set up and on my way when I came into the business on a busy Friday afternoon.

We rented a trailer for moving. It turned out to be a good option since we were able to get something big enough to handle the move in a couple trips.Make certain to inspect the trailer and the wiring before you leave. While they are willing to perform any repairs, sometimes things get put away without checking, and the safety brake battery was missing. I you know what youre looking at, things will be great. The trailer was clean and in good condition considering that its been used and abused by previous renters.

Ive been in here multiple times, and have spent thousands of dollars here, so my review is based off of multiple visits. All of which, Im ignored, or treated poorly by those at the front desk. Im all for supporting local, and Lone Peak Trailer is close to where I work, but Ill find somewhere else to shop from now on.

They held my deposit for over 8 months after I told them the trailer was built wrong. The general manager was rude and insistent he was right instead of solving the problem. There is thinking you are right and then there is finding a way to serve the customer! He decided that his version of the story was fact and thus felt that was more important than listening to his customer and finding solutions instead of excuses. We took our business elsewhere and since have bought 3 trailers for the business there.

Didnt keep there word said they would throw in a spare in and charged me for it.

Service is awful they struggle to show any hustle , service is slow and no one seems to know much of anything it’s constant guess work if you do it yourself and honestly there’s better trailers their customer ratings say it all don’t waste time or money.

Lone Peak Trailers has always been very helpful not only when buying trailers but also helping repair and supplying parts when maintenance and repairs are required. I recently bought a new Big Tex trailer and the Breakaway switch was installed in a spot where the hand crank damaged it twice. Lone Peak recognized the issue and supplied the parts free of charge so I could get it mounted in an area where it won’t get damaged in the future. Thanks Lone Peak Trailers! Overall satisfaction with transaction: High. I was looking for a utility trailer and after looking at a few of the main competitors in the area: Big Tex, PJ, Big Bubba I felt the value with Big Tex was better overall. The trailer I bought is a 35ES 12 foot for reference. I had originally called the dealer in Ogden because they had a better google rating(yes it does play a part in my decision making). During my conversation I found out that these are basically the same dealer, different locations and that hell have Chad at Lone Peak call me back within the hour. Chad called me back and we discussed the options for a 12 trailer and landed on the 35ES. This was Friday and I couldnt get to the store before closing. Monday morning I called back, Chad queued the trailer to be ready at noon. I showed up at noon and they got the trailer ready, I paid for it, hooked it up and drove off happy.A few things to note when visiting: This is also a trailer rental store. Its busy with people coming in and out. Be patient with the employees as they are trying their best to get everyone on their way with what they need. I visited the weekend after the soft-opening of Utah during the covid-19 pandemic. I wore a mask. I was literally the only one with a mask on and thats employees/customers. If youre reading this during this time, you will need to do your part to maintain social distancing. This is a busy place and it will be up to you to shuffle around and maintain distance. This is where one star is lost. Yes there are blue Xs on the floor to designate 6 feet distance but I felt I was the only one who attempted to maintain that distance.Again overall happy with my experience here and Im glad to finally have my own trailer instead of borrowing from friends. I purchased my Pace American 33’ box trailer from them a few years ago. I just had a few goodies added and had the wheel bearings repacked. Spencer was great to deal with and had great follow through. He delivered on time and I had great overall experience.I had a recent experience where I needed a replacement part for my Pace Trailer and Chad stayed on Pace until they delivered. We stopped in on the 6th of December to look at different options for hauling our pickup from Utah to Arkansas. Randy (our salesman) was more than helpful explaining what would be required. We decided on the 70CH 20 foot model. The yard crew was quick to install the fenders and get it hooked up to my new F350. We loaded our F150 with stuff and then loaded it onto our new trailer. It handled the load beautifully. We didnt have any issues on the 1650 mile trip. Looking forward to using it for other hauling needs! Great experience.

I have rented multiple trailers from Lone Peak for various situations. They always have what I need and the staff is very helpful and fast at getting us what we need even on short notice. The trailers and equipment are always in excellent condition. Never had a problem with one of their trailers on the road. I would recommend their services to anyone needing to buy or rent.

Took in a trailer to have side and front panels installed, all of which were purchased from them. I also wanted tie down loops installed, having been told when I bought the trailer how easy it would be for them to do so. But when I took the trailer in for the service, instead of being easy, I was told they were way too busy to do the installation and set up an appointment for two weeks later. Also that they were still really busy and couldnt do it anytime soon.
