I was a huge fan of FIZ. They had made several repairs and always did great work but it’s different now. There’s a young lady that works there that’s great and absolutely gets things done but it seems like if it’s not her, the guy makes it as difficult as possible to get anything done. I have given several second chances and I’m disappointed every time. I was in yesterday about an Apple Watch repair and the young lady told me that if I wanted to go ahead with the repairs after I spoke with my wife I just needed to call and let her know and she would get the parts coming. When I called, the guy that I talked to made a big deal about how big of a favor he was doing me by letting me pay for the parts over the phone. Very unprofessional and disappointing. They need to make her in charge and have her train the others how to talk to people.

The screen repair was more expensive than the phone! And took three days for the thing to even come in.

FIZ has fixed several of my devices and they have been great each time! Their service is always great! The one time my phone had issues a few months after service was the only time I ever had to go back for help with a serviced device. And they fixed it within two hours... dirty screen blocking a sensor, so still not their fault. Definitely recommend!!

Took my PS4 in to repair the HDMI port and I was told the guy that does the soldering wasnt in so they would need to send it to Lubbock and it would probably be a week and a half before it got back. One full month later they called me and said it was ready so I went to get it and they told me they found roach damage (I believe it because it was a used console) and then said I should avoid moving the HDMI cord around too much, I figured so it doesnt mess up the connection again but no. I took the PS4 to a different place sometime last week and they called and asked if I had worked on it. I explained that FIZ worked on it, then they informed me that none of the screws were put back in the board and the HDMI that was put in was just barely soldered in. FIZ charged me $130 for a shoddy job. I recommend Phone Medic to anyone else.

Fixed my iPhone 8 screen quickly as a walk-in repair. Fixed what needed to be replaced (and only what needed to be replaced), kept me up-to-date on progress throughout the day, and were very affordable.

I took my DG a drum in for repair. After a couple of months of no response went into ask if they were going to get the part to fix the problem. What is that has the cable that they wanted to try it was not in stock but they would get it. A couple of days went by they called and said they had the cable and so I took it back in. Then called a week later to say cable did not fix the problem and I could not fix the problem. After I got it back the drone had many more problems. I suggest Sending your drone to the DGI location in California. Very professional one we had results and now working. They might be good with cell phones but don’t take your drone there

Took my phone in on a limb because they are close to my house...it quit working unexpectedly and they fixed it...absolutely life savers!!! And I didn’t loose a thing!!! My phone fell on the floor flat on its back and screen went black and would not come on. After 2 hours of waste of time with AT&T they could not help me. I went to this place where my wife had her I-phone 10 screen replaced. so they were going to change my screen as it also had a small crack at the top right corner about 1/4 of an inch but it worked with that for several months without any issues. so I went to pick up the phone on Monday, dropped it off on Saturday. they told me that nothing was wrong with the screen and the connection plug had come loose . they had fixed the phone and it worked perfectly and workmanship was great. they charged me NOTHING. I tried to pay them, after all they did fix it and did the work. they would not take any money. Now people that is HONESTY and HONOR. I have not seen this in this society. Needless to say I was shocked. so I am telling everybody about these guys.

Brought my laptop bc I was told the charging port was not working. Paid 110 for a charge port swap, had to wait for the part to come in, no problem. They called to let me know that the c port was fine and that it was the battery.She offered to go ahead and order the battery, I inquired if it was the battery that disconnected from the laptop or something inside super techy. No, just the removable battery. She then informed me that the cost would be that same. If the port was $10 and labor was $100 to install the port; why do I need to pay you to flip a battery in?I told them I would just order that battery, I do not need them to put it in for me.Well, I got the battery and guess what.....ITS THE CHARGING PORT!!!!!THANKS FOR THE SHADINESS!

I brought my computer in after a botched Windows 10 update. The repairs were completed within the estimated time frame and for the cost I was told. Despite technical difficulties when I went to pick my computer up, staff remained pleasant and professional. They made a stressful weekend much better than it could have been.

Representatives are very knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to fix my phone with a completely shattered screen and a bent body. The phone looks brand new. He also informed me of needing a new battery and replaced it as well. Definitely a recommend.

They fixed my phones screen to the best of their ability, and by fixed I mean replaced. I know they cant do anything about a dented frame and if the frame is dented a new screen will not go in perfectly. They sell cheap accessories and have a pretty good warranty policy. I have negative emotions associated with this place, but who wouldnt when the reason you go somewhere is because your phone is broken? It costs around $90 to replace a screen.

Yesterday my screen on the iPhone 6 shattered in the middle. I checked the insurance cost of getting a screen repair and it totaled up to be early $300. Fix in a Zip has a much more fair price @ $160 which included a glass screen protector as well! Not to mention, Kevin, the technician that helped me, had the phone fixed within ten minutes of my arrival at the store. Excellent service, they know what theyre doing, and its all for a fair deal on your pocketbook.

This week my phone happened to fall out of a table and completely shattered the screen as i was eating lunch. Thankfully this shop was close by and recommended by my waitress at Firehouse. It took them 15 minutes to fix it, reminding me how much i value competence and expertise.

I would use them again. They had to special order screen glass for my Samsung Galaxy S9. It was in the next day. The service was very good and they didnt break the back side glass which is an extra $30. Took abt 1 hr to replace. Staff was professional and knowledgable.

Standard screen looks amazing. The pricing is cheap ($60), customer service got right down to business, didnt ask any necessary questions. I was in there for 3 minutes, and came back within 50 mins to get my phone.

Although the iPad was not able to be repaired the charge of 35.00 to look at it was reasonable. I dropped it off on Monday and heard back from them on Thursday. I only called to check on how it was going once on Wednesday.

Needed new batteries for our iPhones. They had them in stock, and replaced batteries on two phones in about an hour and a half. Battery life still not what I was hoping for, but it is better than before. I have used FIZ several times now and have found them to be quick, professional, honest, and very competitively priced. Batteries came with a lifetime warranty, so if I need another new one, they will replace it free of charge.

I was greatly impressed with the expertise and courtesy of the staff of technicians at Fix in a Zip on Coulter Street in Amarillo. The repair to my SAMSUNG S-6 droid was done in record time at a very reasonable price. Even the repair part that had to be ordered arrived in less than 24 hours, and the repair completed in about 22 hours after I left the device with Fix in a Zip. Definitely recommend.

Courteous and effective service for cell phone batterty

Be wary of this place. I called about an LCD replacement for a Samsung Note 5 and was quoted a price over the phone that was $40 cheaper than the price I was told when I brought the phone in the next day. They base their prices on costs of parts that can apparently fluctuate daily, but they wont tell you their quote is only good for that day and wont honor the cheaper quote. For the same price in-store (~$300), other businesses in town offer repairs with brand parts as opposed to after-market parts.

I have brought two different iPhones into Fiz to have the screens replaced. The first time I had no problems with screen. The second phone I did have issues with the screen twice, but they fix it both times with no issues or excuses. The staff was very helpful and kind.
