I called a few places before and was quoted pretty much the same prices. Aardvark quoted about $50 cheaper but more importantly gave me a couple options that might get the repairs paid for. It didnt work out and I had to pay out of pocket, but no one else tried to save me money. The work performed was timely and I got my car back CLEAN. Like they actually washed it inside and out. Its been two weeks and my brake booster is working perfect. Im now a loyal aardvark customer!

Friendliest mechanic I’ve ever been to! Knowledgeable, courteous, eager to explain the process. Squeezed me into their busy schedule as I was passing through town with my T1N (2006) Sprinter. Spent time test driving my van with diagnostic equipment to find the problem (needed a new fuel rail). Replaced the part lighting quick! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, even sent us off with goodie bags. Brandon is my new favorite Sprinter expert!

Took my Toyota in for what could have been a massive repair bill. These guys took the time to evaluate and diagnose my vehicle and verify that I DID NOT need to spend a ton on it! They could have really made some cash off of me, but they did the right thing. I will be a forever customer!

I had my heater core replaced, which was quiet extensive. They had to remove my dash to replace the heater core. Brandon kept me updated the entire time and was very professional. Im a traveler and had engine trouble passing through Texas. I was worried about how long a repair would take. Since my engine is a Mercedes, she usually needs special ordered parts in order to get work done on her. Since I live in my vehicle, getting in and out of the shop asap is even more crucial.I cannot commend and thank Aardvark Automotive enough for the top-of-the-line, above-and-beyond hospitality and service. I called the day I thought we were gonna hit Amarillo to make sure there was a mechanic who was able to work on my vehicle and blew a tire on the way. Due to delay, we ended up making it the next day, a Thursday. Every person at that shop did the most to get us on the road. Kim called several parts places to make sure they got the resonator I needed overnighted and they had me fixed up and ready to go by the end of the next business day, Friday. They kindly accommodated us in our Sprinter RV so we wouldnt have to figure out where to put ourselves and our pups while we were stuck.A million thanks!!! :)

I am thoroughly impressed with the service provided by this Automotive business. I cant say enough how welcome I felt walking in. Most impressive to me was dropping off my car to get an oil change, then picking it up with the pleasant surprise of a Vacuumed, dusted and washed vehicle. And to keep you free of needing to keep track of your next service they put a small sticker on your windshield as a personalized friendly reminder.

I have a Mercedes Benz sprinter V6 turbo diesel check engine light came on indicating DEF problem . My wife was in hospital here after being flown in from Tummancari NM I explained the situation this was day before thanksgiving. The MB sprinter was in count down mode ready to go into limp mode and only 20 mph . Desperate situation !They jumped rightOn it and did the long countdown and and cleared it I had pumped out the bad DEF added new stuff they topped it up. And took a long test ride and cleared it . Travelling across multiple states. Got a yellow check engine light coming through eastern New Mexico, arriving after dark. Checked into Aardvark on line before going to bed. Woke up with a message that they would diagnose in the morning. They read the codes, allayed my concerns about continuing my trip and offered to take care of the issue on my return. Very efficient.

Very complex brakes on a z06 c6 corvette which was repaired promptly and professionally.They quickly provided a written estimate. Brandon and staff keep me apprised as to the progress. When completed the car was cleaned and ready to go. When I left aardvark I was comfortable in knowing that the job was done correctly.

Sent my car in to fix the air conditioner, in one hour they were finished. I paid and had to take it immediately back because it still wasnt blowing remotely cold. They fixed it a second time. This time it was working. 2 days later I had to take my car in and spend another $600 on top of the $1000 I spent here because there was ANOTHER issue with the AC. They charge very high and are not even a little bit thorough. Had I known that it was going to be this much of a headache, I never would have went here to begin with. Most places make sure theyve fully completed the job they are being paid to do. Especially when it costs that much.

Great people, great service

I came in to see Brandon after electrical issues on my BMW. It caused misfires and the turbos not to work leaving me to drive home in limp home mode. The initial visit, Brandon was very thoughtful and listened to everything I told him regarding what had happened and built the diagnoses from that. After two visits, do to me needing the vehicle to go out of town the following weekend, he has diagnosed and corrected all issues. All was done at a fair and reasonable price in a total of 4 days. Would recommend Aardvark and Brandon to anyone in need of a excellent European vehicle repair shop. A++ experience all the way around.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. So you have a Mercedes and you want it fixed properly? then youll want to go here. IF you choose a shop unfamiliar with the brand youre playing with straight fire. This is the only place in town I will take my Mercedes from now on. I use to use them when I drove Mercedes years ago and for some reason didnt when I got another one, resulting in spent a ton unnecessarily replacing parts with another shop. There is not a better shop than Aardvark when it comes to Mercedes and probably other brands. They might as well be the dealer, thats how good the quality and service is here. I cant say enough about how happy I am. They are fast, friendly, and the best trained techs I have encountered in the area.

On a road trip from Houston to Colorado, our 2003 Saab transmission decided to start slipping forty miles south of Amarillo on a Sunday night. With the help of Google, we found Aardvark, called, left a message with the hopes of getting in the next morning. Our call was returned Monday morning and we were there at opening. We knew it wasnt going to be an easy assessment or fix but by noon we had a rental car and were on our way to resume our trip while leaving our Saab with Aardvark to do a transmission rebuild. Aardvark kept us informed of the status of parts ordered and received and of the transmission rebuild throughout our vacation. We never had to wonder what was going on and always felt 100% comfortable with the situation. The only negative was that, after putting the car back together, we had a traction control light that couldnt be coded to clear. We drove home to Houston. Brandon insisted we follow up with him on that issue. Our Saab shop was able to locate a cable that didnt get connected, and Brandon reimbursed us for that charge. I highly recommend Aardvark. Everyone there was pleasant, communicative, honest, and treated us with the utmost respect. Aardvark has put Amarillo on the map for us!

I was super impressed with the fact they were able to get my car wednesday, have it diagnosed and worked on and done by thursday. I didnt have the youre a girl so you dont know what you are talking about experience with them. Very clear communication. I enjoyed also have the diagnostic link that they send so you can see everything.

Diagnosed my ecodiesel dodge completely wrong and almost got my warranty voided because they told my warranty holder that it had a tunner installed when it didnt have one. Told me was gonna be around $8k to fix my truck when taken to another shop it was a simple fix. $150 jus to hook up to a computer and read codes is ridiculous autozone does that for free. Using the aardvark made me out of a truck for a week and $330 for a misdiagnose and almost getting my warranty voided.

On a road trip from Austin to Aspen, I experienced power steering trouble while driving through Amarillo at 5:00pm. I did a Google search and found Aardvark as a Land Rover specialist. I phoned and explained my predicament and asked if they could help me. The kind woman on the phone, without any hesitation, said of course, bring it by.At the shop Brandon was amazing. It was 5:30. He dropped everything and diagnosed a leaky hose. He explained the problem and the solution and was able to order the part that evening for next day delivery. He personally drove me to a new Holiday Inn. The next morning they called me to tell me the part was in and the repair was underway. They picked me up at 12:30 and I got back on the road. Amazing! I love the team at Aardvark. They are truly special.

I was traveling from Oregon to Texas, when my power window just dropped down, of course it was raining. I called and set up an appointment for the next day. In the morning as i left for the appointment, the window decided to work. I called the office and told them that the window is working, and asked if I should still bring it to the shop. They said that unless is was non-operational, they would not be certain of what the problem part was, thus they recommended that I go on my way and not bring it in. How is that for putting the customer FIRST.

They have incredible customer service and gave me a ride to my destination once I turned my car over to them. They have been extremely helpful and have sent me pictures about what was wrong with my car. This helped me know I was not getting ripped off. They also helped me communicate with third parties. If you need to get your car worked on and dont mind spending a little bit more, visit their shop.

The staff were real helpful and friendly. My car ate it and they completely laid it out for me how much the repairs would cost but said its probably best to cut my losses on the car. A dishonest place probably would have pushed for the extensive amount of repairs she needed. I would bring my cars here every time. The owner is a real genuine guy too.

My only regret is not doing my review sooner! I had by far one of the best experiences ever at aardvark automotive. They really know how to take care of their customers. I took my car to them to get my window regulator and motor fixed. The thing that stood out the most was their customer service. While my car needed to be left at the shop they offered me a ride back to work and back to the shop once it was ready for pick up. They really made it easy for me to get to work while my car was being worked on which was amazing. They kept me updated with any issues and got the job done when they said they would! I also liked how they followed up with me to see how things where going and then they even sent me a holiday card a few days later which really showed how much they value their customers. I will continue to refer friends and family and I am happy to have a place where I feel comfortable to leave my Nismo 350z to be worked at.

Excellent Service. I was passing through Texas on a massive roadtrip and my alternator had failed on my Jaguar X type. After a search I found This place. I found the service good- Brandon and his technicians communicate very well and make things clear. Im an engineer and was infact involved in the design of the X type and they dont patronise or tell me stuff I already know. Im all too used to this with bigger franchise operations and I much prefer the personal family feel of an independent. They are not forced to always go by the book (believe me- OEMS get it wrong- ask me how I know!). Anyway, very glad I went here, they presented all options and Brandon and his technicians really seemed to care. They didnt give me company line lines like I have gotten used to from bigger franchise operations who often have no passion for the work, for the customer service or cars. Thank you!

And inside the vehicle is always a personal touch, the vehicle has been washed and vacuumed and there is a gift bag and a thank you note in the passenger seat. We were recommended to check out the mechanics at Aardvark Automotive. I cant believe how lucky we were! First of all, I have never met a more helpful and courteous bunch of mechanics and staff. Not only did they diagnose the problem quickly, but they also provided me with rides to my hotel and back during the process of fixing my car. Their prices were very reasonable as well. I would recommend this place without hesitation!

We were traveling through Amarillo when we had an issue with our car, Googled for a European car specialist shop. In the am we took the car .to Aardvark Automotive, the service manager got us right in, the Technicion performed a full scan of the computers, performed a road test,and cleared the codes. Although the scan didnt reveal the issue the technician suggested the issue was just a hickup between the performance throttle body and the computer. He then assured us the car was performing as it should, and we could finish our trip without any issues. He was correct. The staff was polite, kind, and very knowledgeable. I have a 2001 VW beetle that had a cooling leak. I called them up and they had me bring it in. They found the leak, flushed the system and fixed a few other problems while they were at it. It works great now.
