My Jeep completely died at the intersection of Hwy 6 & 35 at 7:30 AM on a Monday morning and Frank at NTB helped me get it started and into the NTB parking lot. He and his guys looked at it and found it needed to go to the dealership due to electrical issues. Thank you Frank for all your help! Great Place!

Horrible service! Today reminded me why I stopped getting service there! I know I got there at 7:30 to have my tire fixed because I had a screw in it. I had already called and explained to them ahead of time at five that I don’t get off work until seven if I came in will they please fix my tire as soon as I got off which I did only to be told that the guy wasn’t taking any more cars. I even explain to the guy I work two jobs like this is the only time and I bought the road hazard for a reason. He said no he wasn’t taking anymore that the guy was done. It was 30 minutes before close! The guy had no car in the bay working on it. I never write bad reviews but this is just poor customer service!!! At my second job I will stay even 10 mins over if it meant helping a customer to fix a problem they have.

Good, quick service. A little pricey for me. A car battery, with core exchange and no install... $140.

Horrible place too service your car they over charge you. They tell you their inspection machine is broken I do not recommend going here.

This has been my go to location for quite sometime, made the mistake of going to another location on my lunch break and it was awful. Alex is the one who always takes care of me. Never tries to sell me anything I dont need. Anything additional that I didnt go in for, he shows me whats wrong with it. I know nothing about cars, and he always answers my questions. Will never visit another location again!

I had an existing issue with a mounted tire from a different NTB. On the way home from work I figured Id swing by this one in Alvin to try correct the issue.The employee was kind enough to fix the problem caused by a different NTB in a timely manner.Really appreciate the service here.

Great service.The website showed they didnt have the tires I needed in stock, so I called this location and they got the tires from a nearby location.We scheduled a time to put the new tires on the following week. They took my car in on time and put four new tires on in less than thirty minutes.I am very pleased with the service. Ive gone here for tire services since 2006 and it is still my favorite.

Bought new tires today for our 2016 Camry. Tires are excellent and no vibrations but when I got home I noticed that they did not even attempt to clean the soap used for mounting the tires on the rims. This happened to me before at this location when I bought new tires for my Tacoma and I just figured it was over looked. But this time however,,, I am convinced this is standard practice for this particular NTB.When you spend $800 you would think that they would clean their mess. This place needs immediate supervisor attention.

I had an appt for alignment & rotation. 3 hours later, they rotated the tires, marring my rims, missing caps & did not connect 1 pressure sensor. There was no one there for the alignment. I will not go back to wait hours to connect sensor. When i purchased the tires, not 1 tire had correct pressure. All 4 were different. No excuse for this.

Website quoted me $55 for a full synthetic oil change with a coupon but the store didnt update their prices so I had to pay full. Workers are great but go somewhere else for a cheaper oil change.Edit: Its July 4th (4 days after oil change) and I noticed an oil spot on my driveway, I popped the hood and the oil cap wasnt even screwed on and theres oil everywhere on the engine. Luckily I caught this sooner or yall wouldve had a lawsuit. To everyone reading this make sure you check everything as soon as you get your oil changed regardless of where you go to.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Can I give negative stars? Called Alvin TX store looking for a deep cycle battery for my RV. I’m told they don’t have it in stock but that the Gulf Freeway store has it. I go to the Gulf Freeway store only to be told they don’t carry that battery, but Alvin has it in stock. Soooo... I drive to the Alvin store which actually does have two in stock (contrary to the call I made earlier before I started this fiasco). I have my exchange ready and I am ready to pay for the new battery, but the transaction on my AMEX card does not go through. I try again... no luck. The guy asked if I have a debit card... yes, I try it (as a credit transaction, I never use a PIN and don’t even know what is it)... it is also declined. He says... “Oh, since it’s not being installed in a vehicle (it’s a “carry out”), it has to be either cash or debt using the PIN. I just drove all over town, based on false information, only to find out that I now have to pay cash or debit only!?? NEVER again will I darken their door for anything whatsoever. I’d rather pay twice the price and drive further than give them my business. Buyer beware... incompetent employees and misguided company policy.

Im giving them a 1 bc they put to much air in all my tires my air in my tires are post to be 36... Two of my tires where 70 and the others where 60 and 50... When I take my car to any dealer ship I expect for the people who are working on it to treat it like its there car so I will not bring my car back to them bc I pay to much money to keep my car up and running.

Always get great customer service at NTB Alvin. The employees always explain what’s wrong with my car, what needs to be done, and how much it will cost. The employees always answer any questions I have.

Very friendly service. Easy to work with in person and over the phone. Only downfall is the prices are high for mostly EVERYTHING. Other than that, 5 stars. Got my husband in and out pretty quickly with our 7 month old baby.

Thanks to Edwin Mejia and NTB for being able to work with me on price for a few big things (wheel bearing, strut replacements) I needed done on my truck. It sucks having to get some big things done that cost a lot but makes it better when they throw some things in and really save you a good amount. Definitely very honest and reasonable. Highly recommend.

TIRE indicator light came on in my new car and they were nearby. They inspected tires for obvious penetrators such as nails, etc. then checked air pressure for free and explained that sometimes tire light comes on due to changes in weather temperature. VERY nice, accommodating personnel, I will return for purchases as needed.

Good people. I do my own mechanical work and do not trust most people with my vehicles. But these folks at NTB always take good care of me.They will order any tire that you need and mount according to your instructions.Most recently they ordered the exact tires that came on my Camry and used the hidden sticky weights, just like Toyota did.Jarrett and Chris took good care of me.

I keep giving them another chance and then I regret it. The work is good and the employees are friendly but the way they manage it is horrible. I always make an appointment but it never seems to matter. Why do they even bother allowing people to make appointments if they dont honor them. Walk ins should not be serviced before an appointment. Dropped my car off today, with an appointment at 10:00. Its 12:35 and I called to check because I just need an alignment and they dont take 2.5 hours. They havent even started it and mentioned they got really busy this morning. But that shouldnt have made a difference because I was not a walk in, I had an appointment. This happens every time, Im not going to be using them again and solely for this reason. Ill end on a good note, the service and work is always good so its not anything against the guys working there.

The manager David checked me in told me it would be a while for my set of tires. I clearly saw they were very busy with all the customers they had waiting in the lobby. I had arrived about 20 min early for my appointment. He got my paperwork squared away, then he himself went and helped work on the vehicles in the shop to help get us customers out of there as quick as possible. I was out in a matter of an hour and a half, but he kept me updated the whole time. Very friendly staff!

If you have a Tundra with the plastic centercaps, go somewhere else! When they get the wheel off... they don’t remove the retainer ring... and try to force it off by stabbing at it with a screwdriver. That leaves a birds mouth crack on the cap. Then they say it must have been brittle? Manager said he would replace the caps... they never did...

Theyre polite and nice, but they dont always diagnose issues correctly. Once they told me I needed a new battery when my alternator was the issue. Another time they recommended an alignment when the issue was a tire tread beginning to seperate. They should stick to selling new tires, and prices are reasonable.

Derek and his staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me resolve my vehicular issues. I am very appreciative of their service and recommendations. I highly recommend NTB for their professionalism and integrity!

I made an appointment for 3/9/19 at 2 PM. Got there right on time. The guy told me it would be 20 minutes to get the car back because there was an appointment in front of me. (Okay?) Thats why I made an appointment at a certain time. It was not super busy. So I waited for 45 minutes while 3 guys up front talked about something on the computer together and finally asked how much longer it would be, that I made my appointment at 2 for a reason. One guy came back and said it would be another 45 minutes to get the car back. Thats not including how long it would take to do the service. What?! Terrible service.

I got a trailer tire replaced this morning.Savannah was the one that helped me she is AWESOME. The manger Alex is good to hear helped me when a tire blew out and tore my truck up. Last two times was great .

Save yourself some hassle and choose a privately owned tire shop. They will over book themselves and treat their employees like garbage. Brandon is a mechanic there and is belligerent and rude. He gave us nothing but excuses for missing our pre-set appointment, and proceeded to tell his fellow employee that if our work needed to be done by him, that he won’t do it.Needless to say, this place is awful and very below expectation for a corporation.If I could give zero stars, I would.

Took my car in for a simple oil change. FIVE hours later car was done. This is completely ridicilous in that it is total disregard and disrespect for the customers time. A couple hours, ok understanable but Five. Needless to say, i will not be returning business.

People make appointments for reasons. My wife scheduled an appointment days in advance just to arrive there precisely on time to be told that there is an Hour and a 1/2 wait. On top of that there was an employee who was just flirting with every female in the building making them feel uncomfortable

Had some previous work done to my Charger here before and they did a pretty good job and did it fast before they closed. But other then that it seems they don’t care about getting stuff done fast or getting people on with their day. Took my new rims that had tires put on them to get balanced today 6-24-18 shortly after them opening and was told to pull around in the truck and drop them off and that they would get to them shortly. Went to run errands and came back about 1.5 hours later. Wheels are just thrown to the side with some wheel from another vehicle leaning on my wheels. And I was told it would be another 2.5 hour wait considering there was hardly any cars in the parking lot. I’ve worked for and always gone to discount tire. The only bad thing is I work 6 days a week and discount is not open on Sunday. At least discount tire shows effort and will get you out of there within 45 min despite having a full lot.

SWING AND A MISS. Came in for flat repair and rotation on daughters car and received an over inflated repaired tire and no rotation. Store was not busy, associate says he forgot to write it up. I did leave the car and was called stating it was ready. Associate told me the flat was patched, the tires were rotated and it was ready to go. Found out after driving away it was not the case. Hello Discount Tire.

Always super polite and they get my car finished long before my quoted time. Very good attention to detail, and they let me know when something is wrong, even if its not what Im there for.

Had issues with these guys. Gaurds where not bolted up after oil change. Miss diagnosis on transmission leak and valve cover oil leak. Outrageous price for shocks for my vehicle quoted at $270 x 4 plus labor bs on that. Bought same shocks from same OReillys $160 x 4. $ 90 labor rate.

I brought my truck in for an alignment after installing 2 lift springs and the guy told me hed have to add camber alignment bolts to get it right. $400.00. So i said yes, and now my truck pulls to the left. I brought the truck back on 12-4-18. He said theres nothing he can do and blames the leveling springs. Ntb should not have accepted the job if you were not 100% sure you could do the job. Now i have dropped it of to a local shop and the guy there says easy fix, no problem. Im highly displeased ntb took my $400.00 and couldnt even do the job. Then basically tell me thats my problem

Love my new tires. Just got my 1st free tire rotation, they wouldnt make it in the Indy 500 but theyre pretty fast.Update: after I had my tires rotated, I had my car detailed. You know how they keep the doors open while working on the inside (especially in Houston, Texas via Alvin), my car was dead. They referred me to a car parts store who replaced my leaky battery. Missed opportunity NTB, plus I thought I was your customer.

Alvin ntb staff are wonderful. I have used this facility for many years for normal maintenance. For the few emergency situations I have had they have taken care of us immediately!

2 times in a row now , I came in for a oil change and rotation.1st time I was called to say the truck was done and ready . When I came I noticed my truck looked to be identical location as I left it. Before I left , I marked my tires so I would know if rotation was done . come to find Out neither oil or rotation were done . If I had not looked into it I would’ve been scammed . oh and my digital oil life reset was reset ?! shady ... after confronting they did the work .. nothing in return for the hassle and LYING.2nd time - has me questioning even more and should’ve taken my business elsewhere . But I got oil and rotation again. Marked my tires again. Came in After they called and said it was done . once again my tires that I marked were NOT rotated but i played dumb and asked the rep. I was told they were and paperwork shows they were done.Confronted the manager and tech . NOW tech said he needed the big lift to do the job , and it was occupied .YET he checked off that he did the job?!Come back NOW to do the rotation and the truck isn’t on a big lift ? Earlier it couldn’t be done in a small lift , only a big lift . But now it’s being done on a small lift ?! Now I’m going to REPAY another shop to change my oil. As I don’t trust that it was done .NEVER go to this NTB . pay for stuff that won’t get done . STRONGLY advise , do not go !! IF this was done 2 times to myself , I know it’s a normal routine to other customers .

Do not buy tires here the road hazard warranty is 12 months free replacement at discount is unerder warranty until 2/32 witch means had I bought my tires 2 years ago at discount they would Have charge me $35 a tire since I spent $1500 on tires here with their warranty Its gonna give me a $140 off thats what I would pay if I wanted the new tire certificates add discount tires are 140 for the complete set Be very afraid

They changed my oil and filter fast, $20.00. They were friendly service, I had my own fuel filter, they couldnt replace mine, But if they change my fuel filter with their parts its a crisp 100.00 . Take this its a 1996 ford ranger, not a Lincoln, ha

I bought 4 new Cooper tires about 2 years ago and spent about 700. Never had a problem with the tires or the alignment just took alittle longer than I expected.

It should be known that Jerrett, who works the front counter in the evenings, is extremely rude. I came in an hour and a half before closing on a Thursday, needing an oil change.I waited at the front counter for approximately 6 minutes for anyone to assist me. He nonchalantly walks in from what seemed like the break room, and said yeah? I told him I was needing an oil change. His response was You plan on leaving it here over night? cause we dont have time tonight I said No, I didnt know you could leave vehicles overnight He just gave me a blank look. I said thank you anyways and walked out, he walked back to whatever room he came out of.I sincerely hope he has either been retrained, or you have new help up front, because his responses to me were not professional, and made me not want to return.

I went in to have 4 new tires and a alignment done. The light was on for the tire monitoring system so I asked them to check that to. I get my truck back and it still has the light on. I asked the guy why it wasn’t done and he made up and excuse and told me the machine wasn’t working but I could come back anytime the next day and they will fix it for me. Like I guess their machine is going to magically start working the next day. Also I get going down the road and my truck still pulls to the right really bad.

I have 3 vehicles and all got tires from here...good service ..Im very satisfied

Everytime I come here I leave angry and/or irritated. For the sake of your blood pressure just go to discount tire. If you need an alignment go to the league city ntb. If you leave this one happy you must enjoy being ripped off and driving with a bad alignment.

Alvin location had horrible service...I left without new tires. I did however go to the NTB near Bay Colony, where the service was professional, courteous, and quick. 45 minutes, without appointment.

David the manager helped me with my tires need & made sure i was safe on the road, really nice & caring definitely recommend this place 👍

Fantastic and friendly at the counter but slowwwwww service and told me I needed parts for an issue that had already been repaired,but thats not unusual for a lot of shops.

Been coming to this location for a while now. David goes above and beyond every time, if he doesnt have something in stock, he takes the time to look for it else where. Jerrett is also great at getting things done when Im in a pinch. Will always comeback for my future service needs!!

National Tire and Battery Fourth of July sales a scam. I went to the NTB in Alvin and spoke to Matt the sales associate. he showed me the tires they had buy 2 get 2 free for the sale. I purchased tires, he told me to come back in the next day to have them installed. The next day he refused to install the tires. I have a receipt in my hand that says I paid for 4 tires with installation and warranty and now theyre refusing to give me the tires or give me my money back. NTB in Alvin is a scam everyone stay away go to Discount Tire instead

Went there yesturday Saturday the 6 of October 2018. Told to come back on Sunday the 7th. Made a appointment for 12:30 on Sunday. Was told that was the earliest they make appointments on Sundays. Get there takes over a hour for them to bring my car inside. Its 1:39pm. when they pull it in. Two hours for a front in alignment and two tires. Worst customer service ever the man that was checking me out attitude was the worst I have ever seen. Will not go back to NTB ever. They took cars in that came without appointments before mine.

I got my car inspected here and was done in less than thirty minutes! The staff was very friendly and professional. It was a very nice experience.

Asked to get tire checked out am they told me no because they were closing soon, asked if I could at least get some air in my tires. They said pull it to the bay and to ask one of the techs to fill them up with air, was ignored by 3 techs. Decided to drive home, with 17 psi on my rear tire I get home to check the tire, turns out I have a huge nail on the outer ring of my tire. Very unsafe it could of popped on the way home and caused me to crash or crash into someone else. Never will I go to NTB!!!!
