I am very pleased with the new hearing aid. It is clearer than previous hearing aids. The partner mic works well. It seems to be very important to keep the wax trap clean.

Very professional staff. Very helpful, although they couldnt help me ,the audiologist that dis my balance tested was so compassionate and concerned about me. I would highly recommend Lemme Audiology to anyone.

Having called numerous audiology practices within a 50 mile radius of McConnellsburg, PA., It was clear Lemme Audiology Associates had a professional manner and understanding of my needs the others lacked. Having done extensive research prior to making my calls, I had a good understanding of the required tests I wished to have performed to totally evaluate my hearing needs. Having been a hearing aid user for over 5 years, of which I had acceptable but not really great results, I wanted to make sure I dealt with a firm that had the experience and reputation to meet my needs. With that, I decided to make the 1 hour and 25 minute ride to Altoona for my testing. After having my hearing tested by the professionals at Lemme, I am confident their recommendations will help me achieve the best hearing I can possibly expect. I know my hearing will never be what it was when I was a teenager, but I feel they have helped me maximize my hearing assisted potential. Also, they gave me a complete report and communicated their test results to my primary care provider as well. I could not have asked for more or better service.

Doctor was excellent with my gram. Explained everything well and showed you how to do everything more than once. You can tell she is used to working with older adults. Would highly recommend.

My 90+ year old mother has been seeing Dr Lemmes team for a long time and has consistently had problems with one thing or another. The problems are dealt with, but the limited walk-in hours make it difficult for family take the hearing aids in for routine cleanings and inspections. She bought the supposed top of the line hearing aids a few years ago, and paid a lot, too. 2 weeks ago, one quit working again and she was told it was sent back to the factory for repair. They did not offer her a loaner, and she could not hear people talking.My sister drove in, and said it was like pulling teeth to get the loaner. They gave her one to take back after she had to sign an agreement that she would responsible for $2800 if it is damaged or lost. She had to take her time to drive in and deal with the office, for something that should have been done in the first place.2 stars only because they are working for her now. Would not recommend.

I can’t thank Lemme enough for all they have done for me and my hearing. Dr. Greer and her assistant Kelsi and the rest of the team in Altoona Pa. have helped me communicate with the rest of the world. My hearing has put a smile on everyone I speak to as a pose to the way I was before Lemme fitted me with my new hearing aides. I no longer say huh when people talk to me. On All my follow up visits I have been treated like I was their only patient. Lemme is very customer focused and treat you with respect, courtesy, and very professional. These folks are amazing. Dr. Lemme helped my mother move from severe hearing loss and isolation to good hearing and being engaged with her family again. Dr. Greer just fit my husband with a new set of Phonak hearing aids with Bluetooth capability that is nothing short of life changing. The doctors listen to you and are truly in this to help you. I never expected to be this pleased with their service. They are the absolute best.

I recently had an appointment at Lemme Audiology to explore treatment options for tinnitus. The staff and doctor were very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. McDonough if you are in need of hearing testing or hearing aids. She took the time to explain the results of my test, allowed me to try different hearing/masking devices used for tinnitus and presented me with plans if I decided to purchase any devices.The office has followed up with me since my visit and as a result show they care for their patients. They have also provided me with helpful ideas through email communication. I would highly recommend this practice if you are seeking help with tinnitus or other hearing issues.

I was at the Ebensburg office, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, I saw Dr. Amy Greer, she is friendly , helpful easy going. I got custom shooting ear plugs, would highly recommend them.

I slowly lost my hearing from nerve damage I received from being hit by a car as a child. Who knew! I didnt realize how bad my hearing really was until I went to Dr. Lemme. My elderly MIL lost her hearing aids, and thankfully, it was still under warranty. They told me it would be $800 for the pair but what could we do? It was still cheaper than the original price. They sent me a form from Phonak, the company, and I noticed the fine print said there is a one-time courtesy replacement - that means free, right? So I called Phonak and they indeed replace it for FREE! but Lemme charges $800 for them!!!!Look, we know theyre a business and we dont degrudge them for making money, but $800 for items they get for free?? It only takes the front office ladies some phone calls, emails, and form filling...we saw it couldnt possibly take that much effort.When we gave a little push-back about the $800, they agreed to $400. But to add insult to injury, after, they started to be cold and BARELY civil on the phone. And they took their good ole time sending them to us - as they said, when we have time to get to the post office.What scammers and how unprofessional.
