Very pleased with their service. I took my 57 Chevy to them last year to have a transmission reseal done. I had to take it back this year for some unrelated adjustments, and they didnt even charge me this time.Ill definitely go back to them if I need transmission repair in the future.

Tuesday night we had a cat issue. We thought it was the transmission and told the mechanic that when we called. Upon dropping it off, they found it was actually the throttle body which was a MUCH less expensive repair. Thank you Reliable Transmission for being both honest and quick. We got the car back Wednesday night. Will happily go there again and recommend them to everyone I know.

These guys were top notch. I came in with my car jolting between gears. Rather than charge me for something I did not need, they isolated the problem to a computer sensor, reset the computer, and drove around the vehicle until it was running smoothly again. To boot, they didnt charge me a dime for it, as it was covered under their free inspection. I will definitely be going to them again with any transmission needs.

I would recommend to everyone. Thought we had a transmission issue within hours they looked at our truck and let us know what was actually wrong (not the transmission). Very honest and helpful shop! I will be taking my other truck here when my transmission eventually goes out on me.

I took my truck there to have it repaired. From the first call to the finish, I was impressed with this company. Jim got my truck in quickly and started to work on it to find out what the problem was with the transmission. This is one of my work trucks, so I needed it fixed as soon as possible. I decided to try Reliable Transmission on the recommendation of another auto shop. Jason was very friendly and helpful. He diagnosed my issue, which turned out not to be a transmission problem. He explained it to me, so I can go elsewhere. He also explained how he knows the oil change placed ripped me off with their flush service and that I should go back to them and get my money back. All, for no charge! I will definitely use them if I ever do have a transmission issue! It was a positive experience!

I am very happy with Jasons service, I wish all mechanics were this trustworthy! He test drove my car for free when I thought there was a problem with it, and explained that what I thought was a problem was just a quirk with the AT computer. When he serviced my transmission he quoted me at $200 but ended up saving me $40, which I really appreciated. He is good at answering the phone and very polite.

They were so great. Even though it took a whole week before they were able to look at my car because they were so busy. I still got honest response from these guys. My bill was a whole lot less than it could have been. I would without a doubt recommend Reliable Transmission at 185th and TV Hwy to anybody.

I assumed that the hard downshift from 3rd to 2nd was pretty much the end of my transmission. I was sure I was going to be stuck with a $2000 repair bill, if I were lucky. Dave at the Aloha store educated me on how that is not always the case. The mechanic looked at it, found nothing wrong with the transmission other than needing servicing. I had no idea that transmissions needed servicing. I bought a battery and asked them to install it as well. All in all it was about $100. Money well spent. I less ethical businessman could have replaced my transmission and I would have been none the wiser. I am off to see Dave again this afternoon. The car I just purchased (used) needs a clutch repair. I wouldnt take it anywhere else.

I am pleased with my rebuilt transmission. Dave, the customer service guy, answered my questions and gave me options. He told me that he believed in doing the whole job, doing it well, and getting paid for it. My car was finished in the amount of time that he suggested and I have no complaints. It has been two months since I had the work done. I noticed that after my car was fixed, I get more mileage to the gallon. This is a two man shop so they do not have rental cars available, but Dave drove me home when I needed a ride. The place is clean and respectable and in a respectable neighborhood. I picked up my car at 8pm when it was finished and the parking lot was well lit. I firmly believe that my 2005 Taurus will get me over mountains and down the road a few more years.

These guys are now my go to for transmission problems. Great service for a great price. Ask for Dave, he has never low balled me or over bid the work that he has done, even when he really could have. Really appreciate the good work.

This place was awesome. Now they are scammers.The case before: You can always call back and ask questions and they try to fix issues and not charge for. Things you simply dont need.The case now: They do things you dont need and rip you off.

Jason had his mechanic put in a new clutch for me. The previous owner had installed a custom turbo and that makes easy access a bit problematic, but Jason was still willing to work with me and get the car in working order. Pricing was explained to me beforehand, during, and after. The year warranty also inspires confidence.

No other shop was able to diagnose my 97 A4. I had completely lost reverse and fifth gear. One mechanic said my car had the, kiss of death. I took my 1991 Camry (63K miles) for a transmission check as the transmission oil color was black. Jason after checking the transmission , recommended just the oil change and while changing the oil they found the Axle boot torn on one axle , which I asked them to replace. After a week or two I noticed oil leak from the New axle. I took it to them and they fixed the issue free of cost. No hesitation at all !!! Will go again and will recommend to friends. Thanks Jason.

Bad transmission taken out-of-state by college student and unable to return within warranty time for repair of rebuilt transmission. Stuck. Highly discourage choosing this transmission place.

Had a good experience with Reliable a couple years ago with a transmission rebuild. Then I had the transmission go out just after the warranty expired on a broken part which caused the need for another rebuild. I have never felt so valued as a customer in my life. Dave treated me and my wife as if we were family. He got the manufacturer of the bad part to honor the warranty with not only a replacement part but a top of the line replacement part. I got free parts, discount on labor, total rebuild with a new warranty.They even detailed my car! I got back a new car. Has anyone ever treated you like that when your car broke down? Well, where do I begin? Reliable Transmission is awesome! My good friend Jason had my Mazda towed to the Hillsboro location to get a new transmission. They did an amazing job and allowed me to make payments until it was paid off. They even stored it at the owners place until I could pay off and get back. Just super happy! I recently took the company van of Sisu Paintings to the Beaverton location because I thought it was leaking transmission fluid. Dave there kept it for a day and looked it over and didnt find a thing. They didnt charge me a penny. Unlike most places that I know of will charge you to look at it or try and find something wrong! I wont take any vehicle anywhere else other then this place! Thanks everyone at both locations. A big thanks to the owner Dave!

I have to say that Im not complaining at all about the transmission work thus far that I received here at the Hillsboro shop, its the accountability for the dent that they put on to my cars hood! I filled a complaint with BBB and am hoping for a amicable resolution, and as soon as this is resolved I will delete this review and drop my BBB complaint.

I usually do not write reviews but I feel compelled this time to do so because my experience with Reliable Transmission and Jason was such a fantastic experience. I was experiencing some horrible shifting in my 2004 Chevy Tahoe a week before I decided to have it looked at. Like most people I asked friends who they would recommend. And one of the shops that came recommended from a very close friend was Reliable Transmission. But since I live in Tualatin and they are located in Aloha I did what most people do I took to the internet. I found a shop nearby and I researched them and Reliable and their reviews and better business complaints and so forth.But i decided at the experience of my trusted friend to go with Reliable which did have really good marks. And I could not had made a better choice.So on November 21st I drove out to see Jason at Reliable Transmission, Jason was very informative and understanding and explained to great detail of what might need to be done and he gave me the best case scenario and worst case and costs that would be charged. I decided to to leave my vehicle with him so they could give it a look see. But I needed a vehicle and he did direct me to a local car rental agency and I was in business.Now you have to understand this is all around Thanksgiving time and well with the upcoming holiday and people getting time off for the holiday I was concerned about time frames and my vehicle being fixed.Well Jason and his crew were able to fit my Rig in and he called me with the sad and bad news, that I would need a total rebuild. So we talked about my options and time frames. Jason was amazing and was understanding to my needs in how I used my vehicle. Now it could have cost me a few hundred dollars less but I wanted a higher end shift kit and converter and cooler for my fluid because I tow my boat and a trailer at times. So Jason Jason did some good shopping for parts and came in lower then what he thought it might be but it was spot on and no surprises for me.Now the other good thing is he delivered my Vehicle to me one day earlier than I expected. And just 2 weeks ago I took my Tahoe in to have the 30 day maintenance review and informed Jason that my Tahoe was working fabulous and instead of getting only 13 miles to the gallon I am now getting just a bit more than 15 miles to the gallon. WOW. So great job Jason to you and your team I will recommend you all any time and Iwill see you in November for my Tahoes 1 year checkup.Sincerely Mark A McVey.
