My husband and I have been going here for years, until I found out how much they were overcharging us. Just recently got a quote for $1200 and were told that they will price match as long as it is from a reputable car repair shop. We got a quote from a reptuable car repair shop in the same area as Midas, that is licensed and been in business for over 30 years. This quote was for $430, because the price comparison was too low they would not price match. I am telling everyone and their brother NOT to go to Midas.

Heading home from up north and my exhaust started having an issue. I stopped in and was in and out within 30 minutes! Super affordable!

I stopped in early to check my headlights. They got my car in pretty fast and they definitely looked it over carefully. Turns out, a minor fix. But they got right on it. No charge, which is extremely considerate especially with the times, the way they are. The customer service is very good and they were honest!

Went to Midas because my car is super rusty and my brake lines fell down. A local place that I had taken it to for this problem months ago would not find the time to fit me in for FIVE weeks. Called Midas and they said to bring it in whenever was convenient for me. They fixed it in maybe five minutes for completely free!! They are so nice and I was so appreciative of them. Will definitely be taking all of my auto repair needs here from now on.

Got 2 punctured tires on my way home from vacation. They had us back on the road in 3 hours with a full set of tires. I like that there is a Midas near me as there follow up services are really great at well. Would 100% recommend!!!

I have had really good experiences here. I have had work done here on my lincoln twice now and both times they did great work and were very professional. Price was very competitive too.

They put the incorrect muffler on our car so we had to take it back so they could re hang the whole exhaust system and put on the correct muffler. Also had the AC recharged 3 times and they still can not find a leak. They had our car for 10 work days total and our exhaust system is still Loud and clunky and our AC is still not working. Also, the last time they returned our car it was so dirty! Grease and dirt all over the place gear shift, door, door handles, steering wheel, windshield wiper controls, and it was all over the headboard and ceiling.

Friendly staff who worked quickly to fix the issues my truck had. Showed the old catalytic converters that were wrongly put on from previous shop. They were for 4 cylinder on my V8 Chevy truck! Oh I was upset but glad they were quick to replace with the right cats! They replaced 2 coils that went bad and replaced plugs and wires with reducing the price for me due to waiting all day and keeping my truck overnight. I paid a little over a grand, but with honest and excellent service it was worth the wait and money. Trust the Midas touch. 👍🏼

We were traveling on veterans day in some pretty bad weather and our cars power went out on the highway. We were able to get it going again to their shop and they got us in right away. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and did not over charge. We are very grateful for their fast service since we still have 400 miles to go!

My girlfriends car had an exhaust issue that they fixed same day, and then my exhaust system fully rotted out and they completely redid it all within 12 hours of me dropping off the car. Neither of us have had problems with the exhaust since, and were very impressed with how quickly and nicely our cars were taken care of!

The new person I talked to was way better then the last time I went in. Last truck I had them do the exshaust system. About 3 months later the tips rust out completely, and had an exshaust leak near muffler about 8 months later, but the price was right. Recently I called and seen they had a different person doing the exshaust. He was extremely helpful, gave good advise over what I was going for. Doing the work he had me come out and look everything over. I was very pleased this time around and he quoted me very well compared to other local places. Its still to new to have any complaints. If it was my first time there I would of gave an easy 5 star but with the issues I had last time this made up for it.

This is the only place I take my cars! I have been going there for three years now! Mike, the manager is awesome, very honest and competent! Ive used them at least thirty times! They are always way less than the dealers, do better work, they do not suggest repairs you do not need, offer less expensive options, actually charge what you are quoted! I tell everyone, go there, they really are your best option in the area! I drive 22 miles to use them one a ton of others! Im generally shocked when I pay, they are that reasonable! They will also install parts you have purchased, but didnt have the time, tools, or skills! Love this place!

So I have my entire family packed in the minivan with all our luggage and leaving home to drive all the way to Florida when my breaks fail. Thank goodness we hadnt got 5 miles from home when it happened so I took my wife and kids back home (carefully) and went to Alma Midas. They heard my story and made our day when they put me to the front of the line. They seriously where telling people to come back tomorrow cause they were so busy, but they had my van done with new calipers and pads and rotors in about 45 minutes. I cant believe that they did that for us. Amazing. I couldnt thank them enough. I ran across the street and got them all pizza and bread sticks for lunch. It was the least I could do. Took my car in that had a power steering leak in to them. They put it on the rack and found that a clamp came lose. Just charged me 10 dollars for to fill the fluid and tighten the clamp. Mike was great. Thanks mike

I went to them for many years with no issues. As of the the last year or 2 its been nothing but problems everytime. Brakes falling apart, spending bunch of money to fix this or that and still didnt fix the problem. And just recently I went in simply to have a muffler installed that I already had. No muffler on the truck, just wanted the one I had installed. I was quoted 60$. Got them down to 53 after telling them there was no way. I called discount when I left and was told 30.

Wow! My husband and I were stuck with a flat tire on a trailer full of lumber Sat night at 6 pm in Alma, everything is closed. We found two guys still working at the Midas place on Wright St, even though they were supposed to close at 3. They set us up with a used tire, and refused to take any money! You dont often run into people so willing to help a stranger in need - we were far from home, and they made the rest of our trip happen!! Way beyond the call - Midas Corp, you should definitely raise the pay of your two dedicated employees who were working way overtime at your Alma store on Sat, 8/27/16! Really great guys, thank you for your sorely needed assistance!

My brother and I were biking through town on 6-15 around 10am. His bike broke down and the guys at Midas offered to let us use their tools and help us fix the bike free of charge right away. Great service!

Have been doing business with them for years never had a problem till I had my breaks and rotors done a few weeks ago and one of the pads was loose and they wouldnt put a new on after I had just paid for new pads and rotors and they lied and told me that nothing was loose I had to go elsewhere and pay more money to get it fixed sorry to say but I will NEVER AGAIN do business with them. Oh and the problem with the pad was it had absolutely no clips holding it in place but yet they said everything was fine and tightly in place these people are a JOKE!!!UPDATE: I would like to add that the Manager did contact me and made everything right to me on this situation and I was very impressed on his professionalism and I would continue business with him

If i could give this place a zero rating I would. I went here to get my exhaust fixed because it was loud. They told me my cadiletic converter was bad and wanted to charge me 375.00. I left and went to muffler man and they fixed it for 50.00. Midas is just out for themselves and will scam you every time. I wouldnt recommend anybody to go here. I will never go back and recommend you to not go there either unless you want to be lied to and way over charged.

Stopped at the Midas Muffler in Alma this morning,(without an appointment) to see if i could get a trailer wheel issue looked at and possibly fixed. We are from further north in Michigan and were passing thru yesterday on our way home, when one of our trailer wheels heated up.All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and they were able to work us in to a very busy schedule. Ended up just needing the bearings re-packed and we were back on our way in less than two hours. Our bill for the repair was also very reasonable, and spot on what they quoted it might cost.We have kids in college at Alma and will be sending them back to Midas for any future car issues that might creep up.Great job! And thanks again for getting us back on the road!😃

Had the worst experience taking my car here. Repairs took much longer then projected. Employees were extremely negligent. There was a major lack in communication on their end. Felt completely disrespected and dissatisfied when all was said and done. 10/10 would not recommend.

Tried welding my exaust and blasted a hole right through, brittled up the metal. Said the only thing they could do was discount the price 2 cats which was double the price of everywhere else. Over $800.

I would highly recommend Midas for all of your vehicle repairs. Got my brakes done at a really good price and they had them done in just under an hour.

I had my car into midas numerous times. Numerous times they told me nothing was wrong, just for it to break. So then I paid them to fix it, because of the price, and it appeared that it was indeed not fixed, just rigged. I asked and asked about my car and why this does this. The employees guided me that that was just how my car drives. That was not the case; more or less I feel as if they did not want my business... Ive gotten oil changes here too, with included tire rotation, not only were the tires not rotated, but when they did all the top offs (which was only the tires, no oils or coolants) the tires were all uneven and way over recommended psi. Its devastating to think that my money is wasted, and that due to the pricing this is near the only reasonable amount... maybe the price is cheap because they skip the work? DONT GO HERE

Had an appointment sat at 11am. Did look at truck till 2pm. Didn’t finish job Sat. Told it would be done Monday 1st thing in the morning...no more than an hour. Now 3:19pm Monday and still waiting. These guys can’t estimate the time it takes to get a job done or hold appointments. They won’t even come talk to us in the lobby...didn’t even acknowledge us. Another customer came in while there and no one serviced him either. Update they couldn’t finish job: now waiting till 3rd day.

Took our van in to repair lugs that were only damaged due to Midas overtightening/crossthreading 4 lugnuts when they installed our tires. They also replaced a bearing thatd become shredded due to the lug issue.When we picked up the van, my husband almost slid right out into Wright ave at rush hour because theyd neglected to bleed our breaks! They offered absolutely no apology or any recompense. Do NOT take your vehicles here, theyre incompetent.
