The way these guys go above and beyond is truly amazing. I have never had a negative experience here. The phone calls alone provide top notch customer service. I have had our vehicles here 4 times in last year for services and I know I never have to worry. Our family was on our way to Tennessee from NY. Two hours into our journey, we hit a patch of debris on the highway resulting in our tire being punctured with a 3 inch rod. We went to 2 tire shops before getting to Kost Tire & Auto Service.Upon arriving at Kost Tire & Auto Service, the manager greeted us with a smile as we anxiously explained our dilemma. With smiles and assurance, they calmed us down. Within 20 mins, they pushed us up on the line to address our tire to get us on the road quickly.Our mechanic re-sealed, inspected, and re-mounted our tire. Upon returning our car, the manager saw that our daughter is in the air force and thanked us for our service by providing a generous discount and a smile!Their service and care was beyond what we expected and we HIGHLY recommend this business to anyone in need of tire service!

Been going to Kost loyally for about a year and a half. They are knowledgeable and honest. The prices are incredible when compared to dealerships. Today they helped fix an issue that the dealership wouldnt even look at. Fast and affordable every single time.

Called to make an appointment, was told no problem to just come on in. Drive 15 minutes to store to be told they are all booked. Very unprofessional establishment, I would never use.

I made an appointment on Wednesday for an oil change for Saturday 8:00 am. I arrived 15 minutes early. Went inside Said good morning to George Cibelli. He asked what he could do for me, I told him that I had and 8 oclock appointments for and oil change. He starts looking at the appointment book and telling me that they are really busy and that he wouldnt be able to take me. Then he ask for my name, I tell him. He then tells me. That he thought he called me to tell me that they wouldnt be able to take me. I told him if you would have called me I wouldnt be here at 8 am. He took my keys and I said if you cant do it I can go some where else to get it done.He was very nasty and rude. It doesnt know how to deal with customers. I worked as a Manager in a garage for 8 years. I have never treated a customer the way he treated me. This Store is located on Lehigh street Allentown. If you go there be aware of Geroge, nasty individual.

I made my appointment for 4 new tires at a reasonable price through the chat. Which was very easy. I was able to request and receive a ride back to work (but not to pick up my car). They checked me in and began asking about add on things to which I agreed to an alignment, and what I heard was “7 bucks” for hazard insurance from a man not wearing a mask so I could hear him very clearly. Got a ride back later, Paid my bill, which sounded high, ( I figured taxes) went back to work. Of course I was charged “7 bucks” per tire for hazard insurance. Called them, not even to demand my money back but just to say maybe in the future make it completely clear to customers what you are implying when adding on items to a service, and was told that of course I was wrong and the dude’s buddy heard him say “per tire” even before I mentioned there being another person at the counter. I told him I wasn’t calling for any other reason other than suggesting to be more clear with his verbiage.Point: anyone who knows little about tires, be wary of add on items. Although the tires themselves installed, were a great price, I felt taken advantage of with this transaction.UPDATE:Took my car for inspection a month after new tires were installed. All 4 were on inside out! Each tire is marked with the words “inside” on one side and “outside” on the other (of the type that I bought) all 4 were wrong. Had to call them, make another appointment, take it over again with grandson in tow, and wait an hour with him for them to be corrected. I was not charged of course and was offered only an apology for my inconvenience.

Came here because my tires wouldnt pass inspection and I was guaranteed 70k miles on the tires another Kost gave me just two years ago. Only drove a max of 40k miles and thats overestimating. They would only give me 20 bucks back per tire because they blamed me that they were bald.Regardless made an appt for 10am to get two tires replaced and an alignment. They didnt even put my car up until right after 11. Didnt leave until 12. No explanation or words from the workers. There was one person ahead of us when we got there and maybe one or two others as we waited. No idea what took so long. Will not be going back to Kost for tires ever again.

I scheduled an appointment yesterday and they took me in today at 11am. I was told by a collision center when I was in an accident that my tire had a radial issue and they refused to fix it (later they changed the story and said the core was separating from the tread) and it would need to be looked at by a tire shop. Well, this place came highly recommended online and I can see why. They lifted my car up about 1115 and were under it for nearly 30 minutes inspecting undercarriage, suspension, and the tire tread to make sure my car was safe to drive. The front end manager had 3 technicians looking at the same things just to make sure. They literally told me the truth and that there was absolutely nothing wrong and it was safe for me to drive. They even told me the tread was good for a while. When I asked what I owed, he said nothing and I thought that was so kind after what the collision center had put me through. Will definitely recommend and use when I need tires.

This was my third visit to this store. I made an appointment online the night before.When I got there they told me it would take longer since I just made the appointment this morning. I told them I made it the night before and was told theres only one person in the whole company that looks at the online appointments and just notified them of my appointment in the morning?? It took one hour and forty-five minutes to mount and balance 1 tire and balance and rotate the rest. Caused me to be late for another appointment.This is precisely why I made an appointment - to avoid spending hours at the garage.To be fair, the first time I went there, (with an appointment) they located the slow leak in my tire and even though I wasnt replacing the tire that day, they did not charge me for finding the leak. That was a good deal and the reason I went back to them.I stopped by on my second visit at 5:20, (with no appointment, but knew they were open until 6) to get a tire mounted that I brought along and was told they couldnt do it that day because they had to stop working at 5:30 because the company was very strict on overtime. Its a 10 minute job....That was disappointing. I know the day in day out job gets mundane, but going the extra (1/4) mile goes a long way in regards to customer service.Great customer service is very, very rare these days. In closing, they were very cordial and I believe the quality of work they did was good.

My tire pressure was low and I didn’t know what to do, I pass Kost on my way home from work, I noticed it said tires so I drove in there. I was amazed that I was immediately attended to as just a “drop in”. They were unable to remove the aluminum tire stem due to corrosion and they didn’t want to break the sensor, they sprayed something on it and told me to come back the next day. The next day, I went into the office where I was greeted by George Cibelli. I explained what happened the previous day and he told me to move my car close to the air pressure tank. He was able to remove the stem, fill it with air and put a rubber stem on it and not ruin the sensor. I was very impressed how helpful he was even with a minor problem, he took it very serious. I looked around and noticed how clean everything was including the bays. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. KostTirePA seems like a well run organized auto service place. My car is due for an oil and filter change and I don’t have a specific place I go to that I trust. I felt very comfortable and confident with Kost that I made an appointment to have my oil and filter changed. I had no problem scheduling in a timely manner that met my schedule. I found the auto service place where I will have inspections and any other issues taken care of. I highly recommend the place, it’s clean, everyone is friendly and helpful and takes your problems serious. I found out later that the man who removed the stem was the store manager, which surprised me, he did the work himself and didn’t have me wait for a me wait for someone else to do. It’s obvious his management style is a reflection of how well the auto company is run.

Dishonest. Was a customer for many years (tires, oil changes, etc), but I am never going back again. I took my car in for an oil change and headed to Starbucks to do some work. They called to say that some of my fluids had gone bad (based on a test they ran) and I needed a costly system flush. Manager explained how dangerous it would be to continue driving so I said do the work. After paying, I went to my car to note the maintenance in the log book I keep in the glove box when I saw that the dealership had done the same flush about 4 months earlier. Went back in and confronted the manager who kept talking about the flush not showing on the Carfax report -- well the CarFax was Kosts own maintenance log of the work they had done on my vehicle. They told me I needed the maintenance NOT because of a test/check but because they just figured I needed it. Partly my fault for agreeing (and not being knowledgeable) but I wonder how many other people they have taken advantage of!!!!!

Would not recommend this place. The price was good. The service is horrible. I got 4 new tires and an alignment. My truck went in the bay at 9:30 am and came out at 12:30. The alignment was way off. I had to come back the next day and the alignment was redone. I asked is it good to go, the tech said well its better. It was slightly better but my steering wheel was still not straight and it pulled pretty good. They wouldnt give me the print out so it suffice to say the tech that didnt know how to do the alignment was eyeballing it and not very well. I demanded a refund for the alignment since it wasnt done correctly and said I was going somewhere that knew what they were doing. George advised he would need Pat to refund me fee. I went to Mavis and within 15 minutes the alignment was completed and he gave me the before printout and the after one. I will update this to a 2 star if they actually refund my money tomorrow. If they dont I will file a complaint with the BBB.

I have had good experiences here in the past, that wasnt the case today. My appointment was for noon, they didnt start until 1:30. No explanation no apology.

On time, prompt service, knowledgeable staff, Jose knows his stuff, great deal on a quality tire and no add ons.

Highly recommend. Quality work. Always automatically apply coupons that are advertised so you get the best price regardless. Every time I go here they shoot me strait. Never do unnecessary repairs. If it can’t or shouldn’t be fixed, they tell me. They don’t see a female as a meal ticket like many other places do.

Needed new tire put on my vehicle. They provide me with tire info over the phone helping with my decision on which tire was best. Seeing an appointment was easy. Not expensive. They offer oil changes, but they do not take appointments for these. I recommend getting there first thing in the morning.

Went in for tires. They do not have the equipment to reset the tpms systems on some cars like mine. 3 trips and I had to take to dealer. KOST replaced 2 tire sensors that didn’t need replaced. And the manager was going for a 3rd. Charged $113 per sensor. Manager lied to me every time. Honda dealer had to reset it. $40. Do not take your car here! Go to jack williams, stews, ntb, etc. your local shop sells tires. Anywhere but here. I would give 0 stars My car is 3 years old. Even techs knew it wasn’t the sensors. Run away.

First off I just want to say if you don’t have any knowledge on vehicles they will take full advantage of you. They will recommend things on your vehicle that do not to be done and they will not actually look. I went there to get a new tire mounted and balanced although the wait time was very brief, I find out that the mechanic that had mounted and balanced my tire had broken the tpms sensor inside my tire. Not only do I now have a flashing tpms light on my dashboard that was not there prior. I also have a broken sensor freely moving around inside my tire while I drive. It is annoying and who knows what other damage it may cause down the road. Thanks a lot kost for your less then good service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GO HERE and I will never be going back because they are obviously incapable of properly mounting and balancing a tire let alone doing maintenance on the motor.

The manager Mike was so warm and welcoming, he addressed every person as they walked in the door and attended to everyone with haste. Mike made great conversation and kept it professional, as well as answering all my, and other customers questions completely and plainly. Mike made me aware of all options and perks of certain price points without making me feel pressured. The staff was courteous and the facility was clean. My truck was addressed promptly and taken care of in a timely manner. I actually left after I first came in to check a competitor down the road but Mike was able to beat their price and perks as well. I felt like I got a great service. I was also pleasantly surprised to see how many customers that came in to make a purchase or pick up a vehicle that Mike knew, or that addressed him first, telling me that he had a great customer retention rate and I believe that is due to his great personality and happy disposition. Modern facility. Service manager is very down to earth, very honest. Only sells you what you need and doesnt take advantage of you. Awesome experience. Prices are very reasonable. Been to many chain garages along Lehigh street and every one of them were high priced and work was never completed correctly, done efficiently or just plain got screwed over. Kost is a breath of fresh air. I will be doing business with them as long as they are in business. Anyone with negative reviews have personal issues or are just blaming Kost for things out of their control. I never write reviews of garages because most are crooks. Kost changed all that. A+ garage.

NEVER AGAINIt was past time for an oil change on my 2011 Subaru. My regular mechanic is closed on Saturday so I decided to try Kost on Lehigh street. All seemed good until the manager came to me to tell me that my drain plug was leaking and it should be replaced. Ive never heard of this but I figured I would have them replace it while the oil was drained. I then asked the manager if I could see the old plug. He eventually brought it out along with the new one. The old plug was about 1/8 shorter and he said that would cause it to leak. The old plug was shiny and bright and didnt show any marks from being previously wrenched. He said that they clean the plugs when they take them out. Not to make a scene I let him put the new plug in and they charged me $12.At that point I knew that they were shysters. No oil plug with 6,000 miles on it would be clean as new and no shop would take the time to clean it if it was going in the trash.For $12 profit they lost this customer.If a business cannot be trusted in the little things I will never trust them in the big things.NEVER AGAIN

Took a tire in for a flat. The guys there were more than accomodating. Found 2 holes and plugged them, then threw the tire back up into the bed of my truck for me. Excellent service!

I Always have a great experience at Kost!!! The manager Anthony is always very helpful! He takes the time to really try to explain what is wrong with your car especially to those who dont know much about cars. And he prioritizes what should be done first to last. And really tries to give people discounts!

Yesterday was my first time having work done at Kost on Lehigh Street and I am very satisfied with their service. I scheduled an appointment to have my rear tires replaced; the price was very reasonable, the staff was polite, they didnt try up-sell me, and they completed the job within a very reasonable amount of time.If youre shopping for tires and installation, I highly recommend Kost.

I used a 9.99 coupon for an oil change, which is a great deal. They indicate on the coupon a 2.50 disposal fee will be added. They also added another generic charge for $1. The total cost for the oil change was $14.26 which is a great deal. The coupon also indicated that tire rotation was included in the price. The tires were not rotated. They did try to sell me some tires since two will need replacing soon. I did not have time to have them put the car back on the lift and go through the process of rotation, that may have taken them about 30 minutes based on the oil change taking 45 minutes with my car being the only one being worked on. Pedro was the person I dealt with at the front desk and he was friendly. In conclusion, it was a great value but it took longer that it should have and they did not perform all services indicated on the coupon. I am still searching for a mechanic/shop I consider trustworthy.

My experience in dealing with Kost Tire is Excellent!! I bought four new tires and ended up having a slow leak in one of them. When I went in to Kost tires I was taken care of by Mike Conti. He was very personable and was able to take care of me within a half hour of my arriving. They found a screw in my tire, fixed it, all the time being professional and courteous!! I would highly recommend Kost tires!!

Ive just started taking my car to Kost after having them do my inspection. They are wonderful! They are honest, efficient and personable. We were travelling with our 5th wheel camper and had a major tire issue. Called this store and they were spontaneously helpful, had what we needed in stock, and made arrangements for us to proceed directly to the store on Lehigh St. We pulled in and they immediately changed four tires and had us back on vacation within an hour. Great people who genuinely want to help you out. Broke down on the side of the road while on a long road trip and they gave us quick advice and got us on our way. They were able to identify the problem and why our engine was smoking in minutes and gave us advice for when we got home since the car was safe to drive.

Very cheap tires. The tire prices are all inclusive, mounting and balancing included in price. Paid $145 for the installation of two front tires, including taxes and disposal fee. Would definitely go back.

I bought tires there but I would recommend knowing what you want . And sticking to that . They will try to talk you into something else that pays them more to sell . I call ahead and ask for a certain type of tire and if they had it in stock . Once I got there they couldn’t find my tires . They offered me something different that they had in stock . Or they could order my tires to be in a few days . So I said call me when the tires come in . Just as I was walking out they said they just found my tires . They said it was like the tire fairy found them . I should of just walked out because they tried the switch and bait . Remember they are salesman doing anything to make a buck .

I came to Kost a month ago to get a new set of tires, very last minute, but the employees accommodated me without a problem....as in I NEEDED tires the day before driving over a thousand miles and they got me in that very day.Now, a month later, my tire goes flat for some unknown reason and after Fix-a-Flat (and some aggravation) and a trip back to Kost to address the problem I was taken care of superbly. The service manager, Tim, I think remembered me from when I had originally gotten the tires and was really cool with working with me on this problem and completely alleviated any stress over the matter. Im really impressed by the way they take care of their customers.Also, the first time I came here Tim dropped me off at Starbucks so I could get my coffee fix while they put the tires on my car so....win-win!Very awesome people, very awesome service.

Visited Kost Tire on Lehigh St. Allentown, Pa. in January, 2019 for inspection on my truck. George called and said truck needs front wheel bearings est. 900.00 plus. Also could use brake fluid change, automatic transmission fluid change and maybe radiator flush and oil change. Estimate = 1,650.00 +. Declined service and took my truck to a friends garage to install bearings. Obviously, the other fluids, except for oil and anti-freeze, rarely need to be changed. Friend said bearings were fine, but replaced them anyway. Cost for parts 196.00. Will not ever be returning to Kost for obvious reasons.

This morning, I discovered to my dismay that my spare-tire donut was not in the well under the back floor (SUV). Went to Kost, where Id last had some service work done in March, and they pulled up the video from that day and discovered that the spare had accidentally been put in someone elses car.Very apologetic, and they are retrieving it for me. Ive been using them for tires and general service issues since I moved here from Texas in the summer of 2014, and they have always done excellent work. Very happy with the level of service I get.

They did a great job fixing the emergency break and rear breaks on my Hummer. I was already going to use them for new tires, so when the issue with the breaks turned up, I sent my car via tow truck to Kost. They had all the work done in a day and a half and the pricing was fair. I will definitely go back there as needed.

Do not recommend this place for tires. I had tires put on my Jeep and they lost my special valve caps. Better yet I asked and they said there was none there to start with. Complete BS. Prices are high. Also there is no free front end alignment. Its a check only and thats useless. Thanks for taking my money wont be going there again.

I have been a customer at Kost tire in allentown since right after they opened this location. My wife is disabled and I am her caregiver 24/7. I have bought a set of tires had my oil changed numerous times, had an alignment, inspection and brake job done at this location. The manager Mike is extremely knowledgeable and a great guy. He has helped me many times by getting me serviced and out the door so I could get home to my wife. I have always had a quality job done at a reasonable price. I will go nowhere else!!!!!!!!!

When I think of outstanding customer service, and going above and beyond for a customer, i think of Mike Conti. Every time I bring my vehicles to him, no matter what the problem may be, he goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect before I leave. I live in the wilkesbarre area, and drive down to his shop based on the experience i get when I am down there. I will be a customer for life that is for sure.

I came to Kost Tire on Lehigh St. with a puncture in a new tire. The location of the puncture made it impossible for two other tire service locations to patch. The Sales Manager, Pedro Lapa, explained that they would attempt to use a patch/plug, which seems to be holding just fine. Their location is very clean and inviting. Pedro was so friendly and took the time to explain everything clearly. Great service, on time, friendly people

Ripped off by Kost tire. Took car in to have ball joints checked for wobbly steering. Kost said ball joints were fine but steering rack needed replacing. After that $1400 repair there was zero improvement, brought back multiple times, they could not fix nor find the cause of the problem. 1 month later brought the car in for inspection which failed due to ball joints - Kost wants another $800. The original $1400 repair was unnecessary.

Honest, reasonably priced, efficient, friendly. I go here for all of my car issues, and they never try to take advantage of the fact that Im a woman to overcharge me.

Took my 1987 Bronco in for the free tire rotation last night and they took it in right away. One of the lug nuts broke, they are old like the truck is, not their fault and no big deal, but Pat ordered one and had it put on because he said I want you going out of here complete and he didnt even charge me for it! It wasnt their fault, it was a few dollar item but the goodwill that showed was worth much more than the cost of that lug nut!!!

They recommended a great set of tires for my car ( which I badly needed ). Fast service and very friendly as well as professional!

We had a customer take a vehicle in for a pre purchase inspection on 3/315pm when the customer came back after an hour or so the vehicle had multiple warning lights on the dashboard along with it stalling.So we took it to our mechanic and found that there was an EVAP hose pulled off along with a disconnected MAF sensor. Its a shame what 1 COWARD , DISHONEST , WANNA BEMechanic can do to a franchise.

Hello! approximately 2 months ago i had a problem with my tires on my 2001 ford van. Mike Conti was honest with me and suggested waiting till they wear in. He could have blown smoke, but he didnt. He was correct , they are better. For a number of years I was a customer of Jack Williams on Lehigh street. However, upon my last state inspection with them and they stated i needed a new catalyic converter at a cost of $900 , when in reality all that was needed was a clamp. It has been troublefree since. My van was inspected just recently at Kost Tire on lehigh street in allentown. For state inspection it needed 2 rear wheel cylinders and they found an issue with the left front wheel bearing. I d like to commend them for a job well done and being concerned with my safety. Especially with being honest!Thank You! Dennis J. Peters
