Really nice people and excellent haircuts. I recently visited here for the first haircut Ive had in a very long time. The staff was patient and attentive discussing different options with me and making sure that I was happy with what was going on every step of the way. All in all an excellent experience, good haircut, Ill be back.

My husband got a haircut at the location in Allen on 7/16/2021 and I could not believe that the salon would allow him leave like this. Clearly, the hair stylist, Lita lacks any skill nor talent. She simply used the clippers to closely shave all the hair at the base of the head, and then she didn’t even fade the shaved hair with the long uneven hair! Horrible!!! Don’t go to this salon. Please, stop this stylist from doing more damage. She needs to be fired. I wonder if she even has a current cosmetology license. This is ridiculous!

Asked for 10:30 appointment for “Any” stylist. Arrived 10 minutes early, several stylists were available, but I was asked to wait for someone specific that was still with a client. Several people arrived and were served. At 10:50 I left. If you are going to charge those prices, you should back it up with great service. You missed your chance to win my business. I was interested in a membership if I had a good experience. The rug in the waiting area (with all of the hair on it) is unpleasant to look at too.

I have been going to the Boardroom since 2012. I started at the Shops @ Legacy store and moved over to Allen when my favorite employee, Lita K., moved. Lita has been the sole reason I keep going to the Boardroom. She was the first one to cut in 2012 and we are going strong for about 9 years now. The service she provides is impeccable. I drive from Lawton, OK to wherever she works. There was even a brief moment where she was moving to North Carolina to work at a Boardroom there and I made sure she knew I would come out at least 4-6 times a year for a Benchmark and Beard trim. She has been consistent with the quality of services she has provided at the Boardroom. They are lucky to have her and I am lucky I found her back in 2012. Until that fateful day when she’s moved on to bigger and better things, the Boardroom can count on me making the trek to see Lita.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and Every experience had been great. I used to use any stylist because all of them are great but now I ask for Lita because she always gives me the perfect haircut. I have never left disappointed and my visits to this salon are always the highlight of my day or week. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends and family too.

My boyfriend got his hair cut for the first time here and we both were very happy. His hair looked great. The stylist was professional. Atmosphere was relaxing. The prices are a little high but I think its worth it. Sometimes you have to pay a little more to get great service all around.

I walked into the boardroom over 6 months ago because I needed a haircut and a beard trim so i could look presentable for my grandmother’s funeral. Megan took amazing care of me and I have been seeing her ever since I would recommend her to anyone who wants to look nice or professional. She does a perfect job every time, and has a wonderful personality and always puts the customer first. The front of house Sandra and Angie are always the first people you see, and make you feel warm and welcomed from the time you enter till you leave. They are all such great and kind people! I highly recommend the Board Room!

Lita is by far the best hairstylist that I’ve ever had. First had her at the legacy location, but heard she moved to the Allen location. Didn’t stop me from driving that far for a quality cut. She is sweet, sincere, and fun. She always remembers you and asks questions to stay updated with her clients. 10/10, you won’t regret it.

Have been a boardroom member for years, but only recently started going to this location since its closest to where I moved. Ive had a few appointments with Alex M, and have been very happy with how she has cut and styled my hair. She listens to my thoughts on the cut Im looking for, but is knowledgeable and provides great suggestions that ultimately work out better than I could expect. I love the Boardroom. Ive been to many barber shops to test out my favorite place to get a cut and Boardroom is by far my favorite. Lita is my go to. I get a hair cut and beard trim every time, and walk out feeling great. I dont let just anyone trim my beard so that shows how great Lita is.

Lita is the 🐐. A few years ago I went to the Plano legacy location where she worked at the time and she told me how to cut my hair (not the other way around). I let her do it and now my wife won’t let me go to anyone else…which means I now travel 20 minutes out of my way for a haircut, but always worth the trip. The shop and staff were very professional and kind as well. Best Boardroom location I’ve been to. Highly recommend this place and ask for Lita!

It was my first time to this place. I liked the ambience but had a bad experience a few hours later. I had really bad razor burns and infections because of clippers used on my neck and under my ears and I am still struglling with them. I can not give one star as the place has nice reception and my barber had professional attitude but I expect good and clean service from such place.

Lita is amazing. I have spent years trying to find a stylist, not just a person who cuts my hair. She has the knowledge to understand how to cut and style a mans hair to reflect a better look. She took the time to discuss with me how I can help my hair get healthier, products I should use, and explained the knucklehead mistakes I make with my hair and how to fix them. I have been coming to the Boardroom for 3 years and have seen different stylists during that time. About 14 months ago I scheduled an appointment with Thao because my normal stylist was out. Thao did such a fantastic job that I never left her! Her attention to detail is impeccable and I always enjoy our convos. She is more than a stylist, she shows great passion in helping me to look fantastic every-time I visit her.She even gives an amazing hair wash and head massage! Get down here! I went in for a hair and beard trim and ended up losing my handlebar moustache. That is not what I was expecting at all, nor what I asked for. The stylist even commented on how long it was as she took clippers to it. She did not ask before hand what I was wanting on that, and she had already started to cut into it before I had the chance to say anything. For how much I paid, I am quite disappointed with the experience and will stick with trimming my facial hair myself, or look for a more experienced stylist.Other than that, the staff was friendly and I could see this being a decent place to go if you are in to crew cuts and short hair facial hair.It is just too bad I have another year of growing to get my moustache back to where it was.

I have been getting my hair cut from here for some time now and it has always been beyond great. But today was not great. The stylist I usually see was not here which I thought would be ok. But today I did not receive my neck shave nor my pressure point facial massage that of course I paid for. I also had to return to have long little hairs that were missed on the side of my head. This was not the high standard that I have always received from this location. I am not very happy with the service I received today. Disappointing.Updated:So today Sandra reached out to me and talked about the issues I had received on my previous haircut. She was very nice and offered to correct the mistakes. I really appreciate this company for taking the time out to contact and help fix the issue. That means a lot to me, as most companies could really careless. But this shows me that Boardroom is still the absolute best salon that I have ever been to. I most certainly will continue having my haircut here. What a great company. I’ve been going to this salon for a couple of years now. I’ve had a membership for a little over a year and go in for a haircut every week. It is hands down the best grooming experience you can have and it isn’t even close. The pricing is a bit of a premium, but you get more than what you pay for without a doubt. I live in CO but whenever I visit Dallas I go to Boardroom salon. I love this place, especially my barber Thao. She is so amazing. She knows exactly what would look good on you. She knows I don’t live in town and told me exactly what to tell my barber in Denver so I get a similar haircut which I absolutely love. Also if you want some amazing life advice she has that for you too. I recommend her 100%. I wish I had a similar barber in Denver but I haven’t been very lucky in finding someone like her.

Followed up with great conversation skills and sense of humor as she masterfully fades my hair to my liking. Finished up a relaxing head massage and shampoo. First time getting my hair cut at this place. Price seemed a little high to me at first, but I booked the appointment anyways. Staff is super friendly and Abigail did a great job on my hair. I gave her a bit of a challenge because my hair is in that weird stage of letting it grow out and what am I supposed to do with it now. Told her what I wanted and she delivered. A bit overpriced my haircut was left too long and my son was given a bowl cut for $100

Front desk girls were helpful, but overall service was quite poor. I signed up for a 1:30 appointment and walked back in at 1:28. I sat until 1:55 until I was told that the stylist I originally signed up for was going to be late and was ready to be styled by the next open stylist in the next 10-15 minutes. Two other waiting customers were called on before me in those 10-15 minutes, and at that time I decided to leave.

The Boardroom Allen is top notch! Every time I go I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, not to mention I get a great haircut. Highly recommend Angelica if looking for a great hair professional.

First time there and can already tell I’m coming back. I was very fortunate to get Thao, she was so quick to pick up what I needed and knew exactly how to deal with my hair (I have very thick and coarse hair) she not only styled it perfectly, but also washed it and gave me some advice on how to better take care of it.I would highly recommend her, as my experience today was fantastic and I know that she would provide exceptional service to anyone that sits in her chair.That’s not to say less of this salon though, the staff is so friendly, it’s a great atmosphere and the service is very quick. Would definitely recommend.

I have written several reviews already about how wonderful the boardroom is. We go weekly for a benchmark (haircut, shampoo, condition, paraffin wax treatment on your hand, scalp, hand and arm massage and a styling). I book my appointments ONLY with Rose, and my partner books with Brenda. Both Brenda and Rose are absolutely amazing at what they do and we would go to no one else. We go and have a fun/relaxing time every Saturday and honestly would go nowhere else. Everyone there makes you feel welcome and comfortable. When you walk out you are completely relaxed and looking good.

She does an outstanding job on styling my hair and is super attentive if you go with the Benchmark package (definitely recommend it if youre going to book an appointment)

For years Ive been getting my hair done at a high-end salon and paying $80 for a haircut. When my hairstylist quit, I decided to give Boardroom Salon in Allen a try. Hairstylist John is amazing and is definitely an expert at his profession. Hes also very personable -- one of the best Ive seen. It doesnt get much better than this so if youre thinking about coming here, theres no reason to hesitate.

I’ve been going to Boardroom for about 6 months now and have been pleased every time. I scheduled appointments with any stylist at first to find one that I liked. Each was professional and did a great job.I eventually settled on Thao N. because she does an excellent job each time. She’s professional, polite, and does a perfect job of understanding what I want from my haircut.Would highly recommend Thao, and the location in general. The Benchmark is a little pricey, but not unreasonable for what you get. I’ll definitely be going here for awhile.

Nice place and friendly staff. Unfortunately my stylist no longer works there. I’ve gone elsewhere since then but have tried to come back recently and have yet been able to book a time with anyone else “we’re booked all day”. I stepped in on my way to Toni and Guy and I seriously wonder if they want my business. I always tip well and show up early for appointments. 3 stars because they do a great job, I just can’t ever get in. Over it now, I’ll go elsewhere
