I’ve filled up and washed my car religiously at this gas station for 21 years. Today I paid for the most expensive car wash they have, the ‘ultimate’ ($11). Unfortunately, I didn’t get the ‘ultimate’ add-ons, like undercarriage/wheel spray, triple foam wax, etc. What I got was the regular short wash, no extras. So I went inside the station and told them and neither the attendant or the manager would help me. The manager said ‘I’m not authorized to give any free washes, and you’ve already paid so there’s nothing I can do. And your car looks pretty clean.’ What??SERIOUSLY? So basically he’s saying ‘I can take your money, give you less than what you paid for, and you have no recourse.’ Unbelievably poor customer service. I’d rate them ZERO stars if I could. Absolutely horrible.

I think this Shell is perfectly designed. All 5 islands are spaced out so you only have 2 cars at each instead of 4 or 6 like at most other stations. Total of ten pumps.The car wash is good. And you get a free one for every 5 you purchase! Just save your receipts and give them to the clerk.Line for car wash can get long in the daytime. Go early am or pm to avoid the crunch.Open 24 hours. Decent bathroom. Sells lotto tix.Can get busy during rush hour and other times. Calms down in the evening though.

Shell has an excellent rewards program and the prices are always lower here compared to other gas stations.

Unpolite, slow staff, rude management. Horrible car wash.I just had the horrible experience with the manager and staff at this station. I came to wash my car. Paid $9 for their Platinum wash. The left brush on the wash skipped the rear left side. I showed the result to staff and later after 15 minutes waiting for a manager. I was asked in a very unpleasant way by the rude manager not come again.They initially did not want to refund then they showed me the video from the wash and they told me that this is how it should work. Check picture how it left my windows untouched by brush.

Got the car wash, car was really dirty but it came out clean. Even with the cheapest option.

I bought the basic plan carwash . It says soap foam but I didnt see any foam.

Stopped by to get gas and a platinum car wash. The line was only six cars deep, but it took 45 minutes to finally get to the front of the line. Once in the car wash, only half my car was washed because the directive lights werent working.So thanks for wasting my time Shell, and making me an hour late for dinner with my family.I enjoy cold food, dont you?

This is a great shell station for a quick fill up. It allows for access to the different main roads. It has gas pumps, a car wash, beer, cigarettes, and happy staff. This is all you can ask for at a gas station.

Gas prices are pretty average for the area, and the convenience store was clean and had nice bathrooms.But that car wash... leaves much to be desired. It took off the dirt, for sure, but left nasty hard water stains all over my car. The wait was atrocious, and the post-wash dryer cut off after 5 seconds.TL;DR: Ok for gas, but avoid the car wash.

The gas station is descent and not too crowded but the CAR WASH is terrible! Dirty/moldy spinners, huge lines and it takes 5-7 min per car, confusing design, and to top it off, it scuffed up my mirrors (I have a standard sedan!) There are not a lot of low cost options for car washes in the area, but the low price is not worth it!! Will not be coming back.

Lot and store itself are great, it’s the car wash that’s such a pain! The line is always huge, which is nothing against the gas station but it does become really time consuming and inconvenient.

This gas station/car wash was my favorite one until today. After spending $49 on gas and carwash, I decided to use their vacuum cleaner for the first time. I inserted my $1 bill inside the cleaner cash reader but the vacuum didnt work. I went inside their convenient store and asked the cashier lady to fix the vacuum for me. She came out, inserted a new bill but looked at me angrily and accused me of lying about inserting any money inside the vacuum cash reader. I had nothing to say except showing my $49 bill and explaining to her that its insane to lie to not spend $1 after spending $49 on their services. I believe falsely accusing somebody and questioning her or his integrity is one of biggest crime. Basically youre trying to steel her or his dignity. So simply I am not going to spend even one more penny in this Shell station.

So I hardly do this and Im deeply sorry for this comment but I felt that I Needed to say something.ive been a resident at aliso viejo for 20 years now and Ive always enjoyed going to shell to get my coffee. Well tonight exactly at 9:40 pm I went up to the cashier that was working and asked if I could switch a couple coins into dollars ( now I understand they are not a coin dispenser but I said I would buy something) which was only two dollars to use the vacume machine and his response was no and that they are not a coin dispen and I said well the people that I know would always do it and just FYI it was for the vacunes outside. So I said ok then thats fine and yes he did offer for me to buy something which I responded with a yeah thats cool then I told them I know the people in the morning and question me what theyre names were. And when I said it was a girl who owned it etc he responded with a laugh saying the owner isnt even a woman. So that got me a little upset and walked away feeling awkward of the whole situation.. idk if it was my image or I was dressed all poorly or not in my fancy outfits but overall I did feel Discriminated .. like I said I love this place and no it wont stop me from coming here but I just felt that this comment needed to be out there. Thank you

Fix your machine, not accepting credit card. It goes on a loop, the credit card is not blocked or anything, its a perfectly fine credit card, its your machine not accepting it. I seem to notice and from other people sometimes your machine doesnt work. Very disappointed, fix your technical difficulties.

I needed to vaccum out my car so I put 3.00 $ in and the vaccum was not sucking so I went in to see if they would put my three dollars into the other vaccum. They gave me one dollar to use but said that I only put a dollar in and said I was basically lieing. I told her Id be vacuuming my car elsewhere. Who has time to argue over two dollars?Ps I also used the car wash once and the directive lights were not working properly and i came out with a half ass car wash

Nightmare. After pulling into the wash lane and discovering the car in front of me was empty/idle, I decided not to wait and tried to get a refund from the cashier. I was not successful, staff services being what they are. I wont be bothering this place with my business ever again.
