Guido posted about carpet remnants on Facebook Marketplace. His offers seemed pretty good, I went by the shop today and they were super helpful. I was able to get exactly the items I needed to cover some hardwood floors for my senior dog that cant manage the slick wood. The prices were excellent and I highly recommend them for anyone in need of floor coverings.

What a fantastic experience from start-to-finish. I got a quote for my floors to be refinished in June, and finally decided in late August to do a partial job. Mr. Hassan was so kind and re-did the numbers, and then we scheduled. Both he and the guys doing the work were very good about calling and meeting the deadlines. When they came back for the 2nd day to finish the work, Carlos thought that they were still too wet (thank you humidity) and asked to come the next day to ensure that they were perfect. Thats the kind of customer service that counts! I cant wait to have the rest of my floors done, and now Im thinking about my basement. Thank you!

Five Star Flooring and its owner Hassan are fantastic.I had a water leak that partially damage my exotic hardwood floors. I originally went to Ricks Flooring and Carpet who originally installed the floors to repair the damage. Long story short, the owner of Ricks, lied to me and told me the wood floor was not available anymore. I searched google and saw the floors were apparently still available under a different company. After being disgusted with them from an earlier flooring installation and them wanting to replace the whole house instead of a repair - including the owner of the company telling me he would give me a discount if I paid him directly instead of his company I decided to get a second opinion.That lead me to talk to the owner Hassan at Five Star Flooring who had done a small carpet project for me in the past. I provided Hassan a sample of the hardwood that was installed 10 years ago. Suffice it to say, it took some time but he found the exact wood to match my floor. I was not in a rush and accepted it would take some time to find the matching flooring. It took Hassan some time to find the flooring and I was patient given that I did not want to put new flooring in the whole house as we loved the flooring that was there.In the end Hassan found the floor that Ricks told me was no longer available. The repair was recently finished and it looks like they were never repaired in the damaged area.For Five Star flooring and the owner, I am sure this was a small project for them But for me, to fix the floors had meant a lot to me. Hassan took the time and effort to make my house whole by finding the flooring.I am very satisfied with the effort and installation given the situation I was in.

I had a flooded basement. The sudden cost of the entire fix was stressfull enough. When I called Five Star they were very friendly and extremley competitive. Not only did they beat the competition but they were able to install right away. They recommended some great options that where water resistant and looked great. I would highly recommend this company.

This year, we hired Five Star Flooring to install expensive hardwood in our residence and paid the company the full amount when signing the contract. Five Star indicated that it required full payment before ordering the flooring. Despite representions by Five Stars owner that the job would be completed by very experienced employees in a quality manner, it wasnt.Within days of Five Stars installation of the hardwood flooring, it began to buckle, splinter, and gap. Numerous calls, texts, and emails requesting that Five Star address these issues went unanswered. With no response from Five Star, we had a reputable flooring company inspect the flooring. That company determined that the flooring installed by Five Star had not been allowed to acclimate to our residence climate in accordance with the National Hardwood Association hardwood flooring installation guidelines. As a result Five Stars substandard and shoddy worksmanship, the flooring had to be pulled up and new hardwood laid. Incurring thousands of extra dollars, we contracted with another company to have the work redone. Our deposit totaled 50 percent of the amount due with the remainder due upon the jobs completion.After contracting with the new flooring company, we mailed, emailed, and faxed Five Stars owner a copy of the contract and requested that Five Star reimburse us the difference between the amount paid it and the contracted amount paid to the other company. Only then did Five Star respond. It demanded an opportunity to inspect the flooring. Upon inspection by Five Stars owner, Five Star acknowledged the poor installation of the flooring, saying it had to be pulled up and reinstalled.Our numerous requests for reimbursement went unanswered. Five Star even refused service of certified letters requesting reimbursement.We filed a payment dispute with our credit card company. Five Star didnt respond to the claim. We also contacted sought assistance from the BBB and the AGs Consumer Protection Division (CPD). Five Star didnt respond to the BBB complaint, and CDPs attempt to resolve the complaint was unsuccessful.JL Howell

Five Star carpets installed a new berber carpet in our basement. They did an EXCELLENT JOB. I would highly recommend Mr. Hasan and his team. Great carpet at an EXCELLENT PRICE.

Absolutely terrible job. The carpet laid was not the quality carpet that I ordered and paid for. Service was horrible and items stolen from my condo. I would never use again.
