We worked closely with Quintas to plan and execute a major project to replace our roof and all 35 windows on our townhouse. We have a very challenging HOA approval process in our community and he was very responsive and patient helping use to get the HOA approval. We are very pleased with the result, both in terms of the quality of the products and the work of the installation teams. The windows were installed in one day and we couldnt be happier. They took very good care to clean up as they worked. There were a few minor glitches from the window vendor but Quintas, Bill and the Home Doctor installation team addressed them quickly. We did not contact you currently, and had it been a courtesy call where you could have said well we are just checking up, if you need any services or projects done, let us know, thanks and have a good day, rather than probing for specific details regarding our roof and windows, it might have been okay. But literally someone from this place was basically trying to invite himself over to do a project that literally has not been discussed in almost two years. Ive been working with the Home Doctor since the beginning of the year, and this company knows how to take care of their employees AND customers! Such a great group of people, working hard everyday to give people the best possible results.

The Home Doctor was very deceptive with us. We were given an invoice, and they increased the price on the final invoice after installation. It is our honest opinion that they were dishonest with us. I do not recommend them and I will never ever do business with them again. One of the windows have a missing screen. On the final increased invoice they informed us that we owed them money without mentioning when they would complete the job. Very disappointed!!!!

The Home Doctor recently upgraded my original 1964 double-paned, aluminum framed windows. A total of ten windows were replaced; one being an odd homemade rectangular one.After contacting the company from a brochure that I received from a “merchant’s fair” at my place of work [just prior to pandemic], Mr. Quintas McCorkle worked with me to figure out my window needs, product comparison and pricing. There is even a veteran’s discount. All savings help, especially when investing in windows. In the end, I believe I got a fair price for my windows. Thanks, Quintas!The crew completed my windows in the promised day. I was skeptical, but they did it and a fine job of it. Mr. “Carlos” and his crew were great, too. When Carlos was working in the kitchen to replace the rectangular window, I could see (being 6’6) that the insulation foam didn’t meet the window. I asked Carlos about it and he explained the reasoning. The next thing I saw was additional foam being inserted from the outside of the house. It then struck me that Carlos wanted to ensure the window was shimmed centered before adding additional foam insulation. This type of meticulous work was done for each window. They even modified the clapboards surrounding a smaller window to ensure fit and match the appearance of the house. All is needed is just a little sanding and some paint. For the next project with the Home Doctor, a stipulation by me is to have Carlos and crew, again! Overall, I am very pleased with the work.Before contacting the company, I checked the internet for their reviews on Yelp and Google. They have solid 4’s. I highly recommend The Home Doctor for a roof replacement. Throughout the entire process, my experience with them has been excellent: from the initial sale’s pitch to the contract signing to the scheduling, roof installation, payment and follow-up. The initial sales person remains your contact throughout and communication was never an issue. In fact, I got to talk to/communicate with the sales person, the office administrators, the General Manager, and even the CEO of the company. This is a small business that thrives on doing the right thing for its customers as proven by its many excellent customer reviews on Google, Angie’s List, Home Advisor, Yelp, and the BBB.When I needed a new roof, I did my due diligence by researching both roofing materials and contractors on-line. I followed Consumer Report’s advice and got 3 quotes from reputable companies who were certified by the manufacturer in installing my selected shingles. I wanted everything to be contactless due to COVID-19. The Home Doctor respected that and provided their sales pitch over Zoom. They measured my roof using advanced satellite-based technology and gave me a quote in email. Their quote was very respectable (not the lowest price but very near, and they were willing to negotiate and be competitive). This was unlike one company/salesperson who “couldn’t get Zoom to work” and instead gave us the high-pressure sales pitch complete with “let me call my manager and beg for getting you a great deal using my special voucher just because I like you guys – but this deal is only good if you sign on the dotted line today” rap. (As an aside, their special deal was much, much higher than the other two price quotes.) I chose The Home Doctor due to their great on-line reviews and no B.S. sales approach. Their contract was very simple and easy to read. In fact, I wanted it to include more details which they included for me – no problem. They installed my new roof in a day and left the property clean of debris. The sales person came out to see if I had any concerns. I didn’t. Afterwards they provided me with a bill along with pictures of my new roof from various angles that I would never see from the street. They did a really good job! I also got their company-backed warranty for 50 years parts and labor, which is transferable one-time to the next home owner. There could be pros/cons to this, but I’m happy that I don’t have to deal with any finger pointing between the roofing manufacturer and the installer. There was one minor issue that probably would have resolved itself with time, but after a few weeks I called them to check it out. They came, no issues, and resolved it. With all the roofing companies in our area, I am so happy that I picked a good one!

I started researching for a quality window replacement company a couple of years ago. I attended at least two home shows in my area and was introduced to the Home Doctor on both occasions I had them plus about five other providers come out and provide explanations of the relative merits of their products and costs.After much time and energy I had a visit by Quentin Mccorkle a representative of The Home Doctor Who provided an impressive amount of integrity, patients, and professionalism. In short he convinced me that he and his company would be the best option for my project.I wound up replacing 17 windows including 1/2 round transom above a fourth floor patio sliding glass door. Also there was one additional patio door at the ground level. This was no small project and in fact the install date was right at the beginning of the Covid19 outbreak, mid March. After discussion with the company I was able to defer the install date until a point where I felt the project could be safely and installed without risk to me or my family.The project is now complete and I have to say it totally exceeded my expectations in terms of quality cleanliness, appearance and attention to detail doing the actual installation.I would give an unqualified recommendation of the The Home Doctor.

After encountering their representatives at a local Home Show and then visiting their showroom, I recently engaged The Home Doctor to replace two glass block windows with high grade laminated double-hung windows. Im glad I did. Though I met a number of people, I worked most closely with Q who was informative, professional, and helpful throughout the process. The work was performed very well. The installers were very competent, pleasant, and patient. I asked them to do what they could to save the glass block windows because I want to use them elsewhere. They were successful! The initial replacement windows had a few issues and the installer agreed that they should be replaced. That was done with no issue. The result is that I got what I wanted - and needed - at a reasonable price and with A+ service. Theyre definitely a go-to source.

We had a really good experience with The Home Doctor and would recommend them to others. We were interested in getting an estimate for a roof, and Mark came at a time convenient for us and gave us a very well organized presentation (with visuals) and answered all of the questions we had, including giving information about their business, parts of the roof, materials used and why, warranty terms, etc. He also provided us a book with samples of shingles for us to use when making our color selection. We are very happy with the roof we selected, which has a 50 year warranty. He worked with us on the timing of our installation based on our needs. The team came and installed the roof today, and it went exactly as described - they came to drop off the materials outside the day before, and they showed up on time today and completed installation in the estimated time frame. They were also very clear from the start regarding what is included in the agreement and also what we may encounter that would incur additional costs and how much those would be, so we weren’t completely caught off guard when one of those things cropped up. I would definitely call Mark again to talk about our next projects!

Qunitas, one of the manager there, responded rapidly and came to my townhouse discuses my options and gave am a great price for an upgrade 50 years roof. We scheduled less than two week later his staff was working on my roof and did a great job. Even though, I had to reschedule that did not affect their service. So, yes I definitely recommend them.

Free roof is a hoax. They came last Thursday to give me a quote. They give me a quote $4900 and that with the material from the 3rd proffered supplier. When I start negotiating, they guy started called his boss, Page. He at least called 5 times, finally came down $4200 and that’s with the free roof. The free roof handouts were delivered to my doorsteps the day before. I asked for owner to call me, still waiting. Since then no body even bothered to call me to see if there anything else can be done to satisfy a new customer. The sales person was very nice but he does not have capacity to come to a point without calling the supervisor for anything I am trying to negotiate. Just got a call from the owner Mr. Phillip and we discussed the issue in detail. He is willing to meet me. We will update after our meeting this Sunday

We had our windows replaced, and the entire experience was smooth and pleasant. The estimate took a couple hours, but thats pretty standard in my experience. The estimator actually told us about the windows we would be getting as well as presenting licenses/insurance/credentials, as opposed to some other companies we got quotes from that spent most of the time trashing their competition.Installation was super smooth. The installers showed up on time (5 minutes early, but Im not complaining about that) and got right to work. The windows are fantastic, neatly finished, and they even cleaned up after themselves. Overall, were happy with the product, experience, and the Home Doctor.

Just had an estimate for siding prepared by Quintas McCorkle from The Home Doctor. The companys name should be renamed The Siding Doctor because this guy knew all sides of siding (no pun!). This estimate was more of an education on how siding works, how to improve efficiency, what makes for a long-lasting installation, and how to get the biggest bang for your buck! The Home Doctor replaced our windows a couple of years ago and just recently we worked with them to replace our front door. Our rep, Quintas, was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. The job ended up being a little bigger than we initially anticipated, but they worked with us on the pricing and made sure that everything was done correctly and was completed. The home doctor team was patient and knowledgeable throughout my whole roof purchase! As a first time home buyer it was nice to have the expertise of Quintas to walk me through my options. My roof was completed quickly and was better than expected.

I have contracted with The Home Doctor for just about every service they offer. Within the past year I have gotten a new windows, attic insulation, and a new roof. Their service is great and quick and their prices are unbeatable. I like that I can go to one small, local place to obtain many home services. I am sad that they dont offer fences. I would not hesitate to hire them for any home improvement.

Getting an quote was very simple. They came out in couple days to give me a super great price. The owner was very nice and made sure our windows were installed on time and with quality. Highly recommend these guys in the dc area. Honest, Hard working, and trustworthy group of guys.

The Home Doctor was very responsible and reliable. They came out promptly at the scheduled time, discussed everything, answered questions and gave the quote. When we signed the representative gave us his cell number in case we had any questions. We did and he did answer them when we called. We had our trim and fascia covered. The installers worked carefully but quickly. They repaired all the places where the wood was bad. All in all very professional, courteous, and hard working. The finished job looks great.

I called Home Doctor for an estimate on attic insulation. The gentleman that came out to present the estimate was nice, but his quote was so high, that I knew I would not use HD. The very next day, someone from the home office called to say that the estimate I received as incorrect and explained that the salesman was new. Although the new estimate was a little higher than the other two estimates I received, I decided to go with HD because they were honest about the mistake. The crew arrived on time, covered their feet, and cleaned up after themselves. I would use HD again.

Great overall experience!Working with The Home Doctor Staff and there Installtion team was smooth and easy process. It was the best price for the best product. My roof looks great and very pleased I decided to go with this company.After getting 4 quotes form different roofing companies it was very confusing to know what was the best product for the best price. They repersentive that came to my house was not high pressure but he was the 1st one to sit down with me and go over all my options. When making any decision I like to know exactly what I am getting. Instead of just giving me a price and leaving the representative showed me that he cared when he went in my attic and showed me things I never knew about my roof or my house.3 weeks later I have a new roof it looks good and the crew cleaned up after themselves. I even got a phone call from the project manager after all of it was done and he sent me pictures so I know exactly what was replaced. After all the horror stories I heard about getting a roof replaced or dealing with any contractor I have to say it was a pleasurable experience and will be using them again!!!

My Husband and I were very impressed all around. We had 6 windows and our french door replaced. The price was better by a lot then the other 3 companies that we interviewed. The guys that did the install were fabulous, and very courteous of our belongings. Already referred them to my neighbor, and will be doing our roof with them in the summer! The rep even came back for our install to make sure all our questions were answered!!

Contradicting themselves and found several inconsistencies. The friend who recommended I use them was disappointed to learn that the installation team are sub contracted and not background checked. I doubt if most have even work permits. They are cheaper than their counterparts for a reason.

I have wanted additional insulation added to my attic for quite some time, but had been unsuccessful at finding a company that performed that service. I received and purchased an offer from Angie’s List for attic insulation with the work to be done by The Home Doctor. I am so pleased that I made that purchase.Phillip, the owner of The Home Doctor, came to my home for our initial consultation. Phillip was very thorough with his explanation of all the insulation options available, patient in answering my many questions, and after a first-hand inspection of my attic made his recommendation for what insulation would work best for my situation. And no, it was not the most expensive of the options, but the least expensive one that still provided a great product and an appropriate R factor for this region. A contract was signed, a down payment was made, and an installation date was set.The crew that did the work arrived timely and performed the job with no wasted time. They did a great job, and left my home as clean as they found it. After the work was completed, Phillip returned to inspect the job himself and to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with the job before making my final payment.I also was in the market for a new roof and gutters. The Home Doctor does that work, too. And because of my positive experience with the insulation, I again contacted Phillip to discuss roofing and gutters. Phillip explained the types of roofing available, what works best in my geographic region, and the importance of having a certified installation crew.The day of the roof installation, we were scheduled to have rain begin early in the afternoon. A large crew arrived at 8am and by 12:30pm, they were done. New roof and new skylight all installed before it rained. Very impressive. One addition I requested was the installation of a product called Low-E. It is a reflective insulation product used in place of the traditional roofing underlayment. I have a black roof and my home faces south. I get lots of direct sun and the upstairs of my home has always been much warmer during the warmer months of the year. I am pleased that with the combination of the additional attic insulation and the Low-E, the upper level of the home is now only 1 degree warmer than the main level.The new gutters are great, too. As with the other work, installation was done quickly and flawlessly. I’m glad I opted for the gutter guards to keep out leaves and maple tree seeds.And I’m certainly glad that I found The Home Doctor. It’s nice working with a company that takes pride in their products used and work done.

We just had our roof replaced and the process was seem less. Phil and Quintas are professional, timely, and have great follow through. The project was scheduled quickly. The roofing team did a great job. We have a three story townhome and It was nice to receive pics during the process of our roof being replaced. I would definitely recommend The Home Doctor!

If you are considering this company for roof replacement services, you need to make sure you DOT YOUR IS and CROSS YOUR TS when reading/signing the contract. I am certain that they are fully committed to not accept any responsibility for any deficiencies/shortcomings in the final product- NO MATTER WHAT. They have a cute GO TO that they refer to as structural issues that I am more than certain they have apply and have applied in order to not assume responsibility or accountability for deficiencies/shortcomings. The CEO of the company, who reached out after contact, seems like a concerned and competent owner and hassome staff that understand customer service, but customer service is secondary to the bottom line, as evidenced by the incompetence of the sales representative who initially came out to my home and made such an impressive presentation. Kudos to Home Doctor for the sales pitch/ presentation, but I think they need a lot of work in the customer service and resolving issues department. Blaming and attacking those they are tasked and hired to work for is not good for business and I hope the experience brought about some changes to the way they do business.
