Please if you go, don’t go to the man. First off, he overcharged me - I paid $74 for short nail set with design- and did an abomination (not even that word can describe how terrible it is) of a job. He was so impatient while I was trying to pick a nail color and was getting mad at me for showing him a picture of Pinterest. While he was filing my nails, it felt like he was fighting it. On the other hand, the ladies there did a GREAT job. My sister got a set as well with a design which was done by the lady and it looked amazing.

The most unprofessional place EVER!! The man there is very rude, and disrespectful...Please dont spend your money there. He does not know how to speak to his employees and customers. He just wants your money dont care about anything else. Go somewhere else.

Avoid this place but if end up going here bc your usual spot is booked and can’t fit you in AVOID the guy I think his name is Timmy. He did a bad job on my refill I ended up having to go to my usual spot day after for them to reshape and make my nails look more flushed with the natural nails. He was too busy watching animal planet then to focus on my nails. They also have a bad selection of color and that place is not clean at all. No wonder this place was empty and I should have looked at the reviews before deciding to go.

The only man that works there is sloppy, havey handed and smoke while on the job. Its hot they never want to turn on the air conditioner, they need to get rid of him.

I have been a customer of United Nails for over 12+ years. They are a friendly, family owned business that provides great service for reasonable prices.

This is my first and last time at this salon. They told me $35 for a full set of acrylics. Some how along the lines my request got lost in translation because my artists switched mid treatment. It’s my time to pay and they’re telling me it’s almost $60 for this basic nude set. Like another commenter said it’s just best to make the hike out to Dc for the better quality and professionalism. Also It already looks like i need a fill in. None of my nails should be showing after just leaving the salon minutes ago. Won’t be returning, going to Dc to soak them off!

DO NOTT GO HEREEE!!!! I literally paid for a full set with gel for $55 and the nails legit only lasted my 5 days! I top of it all the charge me $5 extra for coffin nails and let me tell you the legit did not look like coffin

Save your money and go elsewhere. One star bc the person who helped my friend went the extra mile. I called this store today to request a refund because both my friend and I had a nail break within 48 hours of having a fill INCLUDING the acrylic nail put on my toe. They are trying to pass off their business as being touch less by requesting payment by cashapp but we all know this business is crashing and burning. I will be reporting this business to various places including the health department as they do not use fresh tools between clients for pedicures. My refund was denied despite the clear quality issue of the material they use!!!!

They always do a great job on my nails. And they have a lot of technicians working often... There is never a wait. And they take walk ins.Also, Lynn hooked my lashes up ... I was surprised they came out so good. And her prices are great (better than many other places Ive been) ... Her lashes look just as good as places Ive spent $200.

I been here plenty of times and never been disappointed owners are very friendly, last time i went a young lady helped me and I don’t remember her name but she did an amazing job I was so in love with my new set. I kept getting compliments on my nails ❤️

United Nails was GREAT. IMMEDIATE service for two of is just walking in for pedicure. Several add on features...and creative, last minute Christmas decorations on each big toenail.....sparkly green dots on deep red polish. Perfect callous removal and sugar massage. Thank you United Nails.

This was my first time here for a pedicure and refill. The pedicure was nice but I was completely disappointed by my nails. The polish isn’t covering the whole nail on some of my nails and it felt like he was filing my skin instead of my nails. Very painful. I was actually breading in my pinky. Smh

I have been going to this Nail Salon for 5 years! The best pedicure in town. No matter if I get gel or regular polish they last for 6 weeks.

This is one of the BEST nail salon in Alexandria. They are so professional, easy to talk to , the place is extremely clean , comfortable. I feel like they are family. I don’t trust anyone with my eyebrows or lashes but this place . My lashes looks so BOMB. My eyebrows are done exactly the way I like. Don’t let some of these people bad reviews fool y’all to missing out on a good service and good price .

I love this place the first moment I got there.. The guy that did my nails is a pro and very nice. I love the way he did my nails. He explained everything in detail and knows what hes talking about. I recommend this place. Plus prices are responsible.

I think this place is great... very nice technicians... reasonably priced... and they dont try to add additional services that you dont want. Im moving out of state September 1st and I plan on coming back a couple of more times before I move to Vegas...sad thing is Ive been in the area for a while and only stumbled upon this place because the place a coworker recommended was booked.I highly recommend this salon.

The man Timmy did a terrible job on my nails. They are lumpy and lopsided, the shape of the nail I asked for is not the shape that I wanted, he did a rush job that place will never get my business or money again.

Unsanitary. 🤢Poor service👎🏽The first time I came for a pedicure I enjoyed the service by a wonderful young lady I cannot remember her name. The second time I returned in hopes that the young lady would be working; unfortunately, she wasn’t. So I received service by another lady instead and I was not having it! First of all, she had me all the way effed up because I saw a few RED FLAGS🚩 She ran the foot soak water too hot even after I told her she continued to run the water in which was dirty from her sticking her in hand in to check the temperature and she expected me to soak in the water. Uh, no! ☝🏽But that’s not all folks! She RINSED the CUTICLE CLIPPERS IN MY FOOT SOAK WATER. This ain’t all the tea... she didn’t use a new file, buffer, and POMACE scrub stone. ASK FOR NEW Disposable TOOLS! She rinsed the foot stone that they use on everyone else in my soak water. Now, yes I continued because I do reviews for people in my area. This lady is a HOT MESS! She painted my toes nicely I’ll give her that and was sweet she put my sandals back on for me, but that other stuff was nasty nasty! Unsanitary =Unsatisfying! 🤦🏽‍♀️

Very clean compared to a lot of other places I have been to. The prices are reasonable, $20 for a fill with gel. I only get gel Nails, and they did a good job...better than my regular place back home. I would recommend the services. The staff was neither rude nor social, but they were efficient. I would return here on a regular basis if I lived in town.

United Nails has been doing my nails for 10+ years. Lynn and Tim do a wonderful job. If it’s your first time make sure and ask for them. I do gel manicures, spa pedicures, waxing, and eyelashes with them.

So there are some nay sayers on yelp and google+ for this place. The young lady who does my nails is fabulous. The prices are the best I have found and they are willing to haggle about total cost for extras. The shop is clean. I always get superb work and exactly what I want. I wish I could post a picture of all my valentines day nails! Each one is different. Any way. It is not a draw back, but the salon is so busy on the week end they have to find a way to speedily accommodate all customers. So while my acrylics were setting, the manicurist went to wax a ladys eyebrows. So, if you want excellent, speedy, affordable salon services, this is the place to go.

Probably one of the worst nail salons I’ve been too in the past 3-4 years. They need to find a way to either hire a professional to help them run a business or get some type of help. I can not explain how unorganized and unprofessional this location is. If I continue I could write for days but don’t think I’m just leaving a bad review, I definitely gave them feedback and hopefully they utilize it because this is seriously the worst experience I’ve ever had with no exaggeration! I have absolutely nothing positive to say which is unfortunate... good luck and hopefully you experience isn’t as bad as mine

They did not shape my toe nails how I asked several times, my nails weren’t completely painted. I asked for them to be fixed multiple times. I got a full set of fake nails and not even a week after getting them done, 7 of my nails started to separate. I’m going back so they can fix the broken nails but I will not be returning after that

Friendly service but very poor job on my gel manicure. They started peeling/chipping after 2 days. Ridiculous.

I have been living in this neighborhood for 5 years, I discovered United Nails Salon, I have always been welcomed, accommodated at any time. Lynn is an extraordinary and professional owner, her mani/pedi are perfectly done. Lynn gives you an orthopedic pedicure. I love that salon, and even if I move somewhere else, I’ll always come back. Two thumbs up Lynn.

Visit this place for first time Saturday. Spent $90 on service including tip. Three days later gel started peeling off my nail, and also one nail just tore off. I went back for them to repair my issue. They had the audacity to tell me that l need to pay them $4 for my nail repair, but the gel that was peeling off we fix free. I disagreed that l should pay anything. Long story short, Tim the manager started aurging with me about the service they provided. I left, but as l was leaving l was told l need to pay them 4 dollars. I told them to take it from that tip l gave them three days ago from the $90. I will never never go there again. Very very unprofessional.

I am so upset. I went the first time and there was only two ladies there. I got a pedi and gel manicure and I was fine everything was lovely. I went back for a fill and this guy did my manicure while I was getting a pedi, movie star treatment right?, wrong the gel was so thin my pink nails started cracking and breaking the color started to peel right off. I had to go somewhere else Queens nail salon to get it done and she did that thing they didn’t use any curing lights or acrylic everything was straight setting power and gel powder probably will just come back for pedicures but def. not manicures.

Typical nail salon. Didnt know exactly what I would be paying up front and that always bothered me. It did appear clean and the girl did a decent job with my calluses. Pushed me into doing something I didnt want to 3 times though before she left it alone.

This place is HORRIBLE. I attempted to get a gel fill and the technician did not know how to apply the gel, it was EVERYWHERE. It was all over her, all over me, on my cuticles and the sides of my nails. The owner said he has been working with gel for over 25 years and would take over the application process. He filed the gel down, buffed my nails and attempted to put on a top coat. I asked him if he was going to reapply the gel as I was asking I touched one of my nails and half the gel popped off, cant make this stuff up. I was there for over 2 hours. I told him I was leaving and was not paying for my nails. I gave him my credit card to pay for my pedicure and we had a heated exchange which resulted in me calling the police because he grabbed my arm. It was the worst experience ever. The pictures attached are my nails when he said he was applying the final step , a top coat. You can see where some of the gel popped off my index finger. Im sure you could find a 5 year old that would do a better job than United Nails.

The customer service is the best they are friendly and I love the way they treat their customers,eyelashes and nails is fantastic they last longer 😍

I have tried giving this place two chances...first time I had my eyebrows done...went in there aprox 30 minutes before closing they ripped my skin of part of my eyebrows and rushed the whole process so they could close early. Second time, the air conditioning was broken....they had extra charges for every little thing...also dirty. I can not say with fact, but I would like to see the license for everyone working there. They did a terrible job on my pedicure.
