Absolutely horrendous. After being discharged from Inpatient at another INOVA hospital (which was great), I was set up here with a therapist. I had an appointment the day after my discharge with her that lasted not even 10 minutes. She didnt offer to set up future appointments with me, instead she said I dont have anything, Im fully booked and gave no other details. I was supposed to immediately be set up with one of their psychiatrists as well because of the severity of my sitatution, but was never contacted. I called them everyday for a month, and half the time didnt get through to anyone, and when I did they told me someone would call me back. No one ever called me back. Finally, after 2 months post discharge I got an email for an appointment with a psychiatrist. When my appointment finally rolls around, I get on the zoom call and wait for 45+ minutes, and Dr. Tai McCadden never bothered to show up, and I never got contacted with an apology or even a reason. I emailed the person who set up the appointment, and she never emailed me back either. Because this psychiatrist failed to show up to my appointment, I was not able to get my prescriptions I needed which negatively impacted my mental and physical wellbeing. To treat patients like this is completely unacceptable, and I am so disappointed with the level of so called care.

I agree with a previous review, things must have changed since 2 years ago when there were very poor reviews. My experience here was fantastic. The entire staff was extremely friendly. My counselor Minyon was wonderful and extremely helpful.

Not sure why the reviews are so horrible, maybe this practice was ran differently in the past but just started seeing someone here and she’s really great. Front office staff is helpful too!

Avoid this office if it is an option. As per all the other reviews here, I can attest they said is all true. The last doctor that saw me said, You dont need meds. Its all mental. Really?!? I basically only go to get my prescription refilled and I cant even get adequate care for that. Much less will someone take the time out to talk to you about a plan for your mental health or treat you more that a number on a rotation. Seen 5 docs in the last 3 years and neither one follows the recommendation left behind by the previous doctor. Which means starting a new regimen every time a new doctor comes into the clinic. It makes my brain go off the deep end. There is a high turn over of doctors here. Beware. As of today I prefer to take care of my mental health in a different way and will be staying away from this clinic even if I dont have a new Doctor lined up.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! The staff and the doctors are very unprofessional, rude, and they dont seem to care about treating your symptoms. Dr. Mushref is the worst doctor that I have ever encountered. My first visit didnt start with how are you feeling it started with Im not prescribing you anything because he labeled me as a drug addict when I have no history of substance abuse whatsoever! Then he went on to disclose my personal information to my family members without my permission. Also, even though i have insurance and pay through the online NOVA account they made me pay them 50$ in person for who knows what! I will never go back to this place !

Please if you can avoid this office, do. These people either lack the competence to take care of their patients, or just the empathy to follow through. My experience has been almost bad enough for me to give up on taking care of my psychological health.

I love love Mrs Grageda. After being on meds for over 10 years I’m very happy I found her

I made an egregious error in assuming that the type of awesome care I received at Fairfax hospital (which saved my life), was something that was in place in the whole Inova system. I was absolutely dead wrong. This is one of the worst place for mental health treatment outpatient treatment I have had the misfortune of encountering. The lack of professionalism from top to bottom is ridiculous. You have doctors who literally dont listen to what you say and ignore the diagnosis from previous doctors despite those very doctors notes being in their system and nurses and receptionists who dont answer calls or return messages even if you are damn near in a crisis mode. If you need help right away, seriously avoid this place (even if you are like me and were really trying hard to avoid having to go through the uncomfortable process of getting a new doctor updated on your history and think settling witha doctor due to him already having your records would make your life easier. It will not).

Id give no stars if I could. Christines clients clearly arent a priority to her if shes going to make them wait for 30 minutes+. Whats the point in even having an appointment in the first place?

Mushref is insufferably rude and arrogant. He wrongfully assumed that I was an addict, and has repeatedly told me that my dissociative symptoms (as diagnosed by a team of doctors at a hospital specializing in PTSD and Dissociation) are not a sign of trauma induced dissociation, but rather are symptoms of my addiction. He constantly cuts me off and repeatedly refuses to answer my questions about medications and treatment plans. He also continually insults the specialists I see for PTSD/Dissociative treatment even though he does not specialize in those areas. He is quite possibly the worst Dr I have ever had the misfortune to speak with. INOVA randomly assigned me to him, I did not pick him. Be warned, INOVA has a no Dr switching policy and so when I called to ask to see a different Dr in INOVAs network, I was told it was against policy to allow changes. I am now looking for a replacement outside INOVAs system.

Was under the care of Dr Lisa Calusic here. Was misdiagnosed and was also told my insurance was out-of-network after being in their outpatient program and also a patient of Dr Calusic for months. My patient rights were violated by the whole staff here.
