I had an amazing Experience with the team. They were kind and try to satisfy me in anyways. The team helped me to find a right wedding dress. I tried many dresses and they pulled out as many as I asked, and they were so patient. The best thing that I liked the most was they let you have your privacy in the fitting room, because most bridal shops, they will come to the fitting room with you to help you wear the dress which sometimes is good to have some privacy. But after wearing the dress they came and help me to adjust it and make it my size with the clips. I really had good times with them and I’m happy to bought my dress with them. If you looking for a wedding dress I recommend this place.

I had a wonderful experience with Gladys and Lourdes. This was the first shop I went to and it shaped what I looked for in other stores after. I had an idea of what I wanted and thought would look good on me until I tried it on. The ladies there helped me figure out which type of dress was more flattering to me after I was disappointed with my initial inclinations.They brought an array of dresses which I initially hadnt even considered.They were honest about what looked best and what parts of it, etc. So, if you dont want honest feedback it might not be your kind of store, but I certainly appreciated it, especially since I was by myself. They brought dresses and put one at a time in the changing room for me while having a lineup outside for me to choose from (both that I had picked out and that they recommended). They helped me close them and pin them but did not help me put them on like other places. I personally preferred that, but I know some brides liked to be helped.I had an additional requirement which they were the MOST helpful for of all five stores I went to during my dress shopping experience. I am not looking for the most bridal gown that you end up only wearing once but for something versatile that I can convert to an evening dress for the many black-tie events in the DC area. These ladies were creative and brainstormed with me how to do that, based on their extensive experience in alterations. Besides just cutting the train, they talked about which designs were most versatile and how different textures would respond to dye, etc. No other store helped fulfill that goal like this one.

I highly recommend coming to this store if you’re looking for people that actually pay attention to you and has no problem in spending as much time finding the prefect dress and accessories as you need.Ms. Gladys and Ms. Lourdes were very nice to me and helped me with everything I needed. At some point, when I did not know what style of veil I wanted they suggested I tried them all on and took pictures of everything just so I remembered how my dress looked with every style and I could make a decision whenever I was ready even if it was not from their store.They made me feel like I was their only customer when they were working with me. Also, great prices!!

This has been a fast and easy search and experience while coming into Bridal by Natalie. I went to a bridal boutique down the street from them and tried on so many dresses and didn’t like one but as soon as I came into bridal by Natalie I tried on 3 dresses and found my perfect match. They have a good selection and the prices are VERY reasonable. I can’t wait for my wedding my dress is so beautiful 😍 thanks to Gladys & Lourdes. You made this experience so much fun.

This was my first time trying on wedding dresses, and I couldnt have been more disappointed.Things started out OK-- the shop had pulled the two dresses I was interested in trying on-- but then it went downhill quickly. Nobody asked me when I was getting married or what I was looking for, and I was left alone in the tiny room to get myself into the dresses and clip them as-needed.My assistant put in the bare minimum effort. She couldnt answer the most basic questions on fabric and fit, and she didnt pull anything, relying instead on my mom and sister to find dresses (which, by the way, are organized by size and not style... so if you dont work there its hard to suss out whats what!)The final nail in the coffin came when my stylist made a comment about my size. Im 55 and about 135 pounds, so a fairly average-sized woman, and the woman had the audacity to say there wouldnt be much that would fit me. This was so hurtful, and was made even worse when she commented that one of the dresses I was trying wouldnt zip. Bridal gowns are carried in sample sizes, so its expected that the ones you try wont fit perfectly, but this was so embarrassing and cast such a dark cloud over what was supposed to be a special day.Overall, I would advise going elsewhere. This place has a poor selection, horrible service, and a lackluster vibe thats the antithesis of the special experience bridal gown shopping should be.

Dont go here. They are crooks just trying to manipulate you out of your money. Worst experience ever!! They told me one price and then when I went for my fitting they tried to charge me $1200 more! Absolutely outrageous. Don’t waste your money on bad business!

We had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience at Bridals by Natalie. They had just moved locations so there were a few snafus but my stylist, Crystal, was so kind and really made the whole experience what it was. She let us look through the racks as another appointment was wrapping up and never balked at how many dresses we grabbed! She was knowledgeable of the dresses and stepped in when needed but other than that just let me interact with my crew when I had the dresses on. After seeing what I liked and didnt like, she even offered to do one more sweep of the store to make sure we hit everything. In the end, there was a clear favorite for me and the group. She let me put it back on in the end with a belt and a veil--which allowed me to have the this is the one moment. I would recommend Bridals by Natalie to any bride in the area! Their store is small but its lovely and they have amazing dresses. Plus their customer service is top notch.

My wedding is this weekend, and I just picked up my dress with final alterations on Saturday. The staff was incredibly helpful! I lost 30lbs between when I first purchased the gown and picked the dress up on Saturday, and they managed to accommodate me perfectly. The gown is gorgeous, and fits me like a glove. I noticed a tiny bump in the lace on Saturday when I tried it on. I thought No big deal, Im sure I can pin that down. But the attendant beat me to it! She immediately said, Oh, theres a bump here. Can you wait ten minutes? Ill have her fix this right away. Sure enough, not even ten minutes later, I try the dress on again, and its perfect!! I would recommend this shop to anyone in the DC/VA/MD area. Prices reasonable, staff friendly and fantastic, and great selection of gowns.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have been dress shopping with many girlfriends and I had looked at few larger stores and smaller boutiques before I came across Bridals by Natalie. I had probably tried on 8-10 dresses total and I had found a dress that I liked, but wasnt in love with. I took two of my bridesmaids with me and between the three of us, we picked about 6 dresses. It was lucky number 7 that Lourdes picked for me and the one I very happily said yes to! She was so patient with me and I never felt pressured to buy, even when I said I wanted to come back with the moms (mine and his) before buying.Regarding alterations, one of the seamstresses contradicted an alteration that had been suggested by the shop and that I wanted. Bridals by Natalie addressed this and met with me making small changes until it was the dress of my dreams. It ended up fitting like it was designed around my body rather than designed and altered to fit me.I am so happy I chose Bridals by Natalie!

They dont even try to work with you to make you happy. This is the dress you ordered, you better like it. If the color doesnt look like the one you ordered, it is your problem.I wish I had known, I would have never come here.Horrible experienceI will make sure to spread to word because that is unacceptable, especially as they are not cheap

Such an amazing bridal experience! Where do I begin?! 1. She opened her store to accommodate my schedule. 2. The space is absolutely stunning. It is the perfect setting with large glamorous mirrors and sparkling chandeliers. It honestly felt like I was in a movie. 3. She had endless patience with my flower girl who would not sit still or stay quiet. Her patience put me at peace and allowed me to still enjoy the experience 4. She picked out The Dress even when I originally said no at first glance. 5. She knew my style and understood my personality... probably more than I know myself 6. She respected my budget, gave me a great deal AND didnt make me feel inferior due to my small budget. 7. She was extremely professional. I didnt feel pressured or rushed. She does her job so well that I was able to relax and just enjoy the experience. 8. She was so respectful to my family and knew them by name 9. She was sincere and I knew that she genuinely wanted the best for me 10. She made me feel beautiful and special. I couldnt have asked for a better experience - highly recommend!

Bridals by Natalie had beautiful dresses and a great selection. However, if you are looking for a more fitted look like a fitted sheath or mermaid you have to be a size 4 in order to for into their sample sizes. I am a side 6-8 depending on the dress which is a 10-12 in wedding dress size and I only fit into two dresses I pulled. Unless they start to carry larger sizes for normal, average sized girls, please dont waste your precious time here.

Rude Rude Rude! I made an appointment online. When I was making the appointment, I noticed that they only allowed you to have 45 minutes and you were only allowed to try on 7 gowns. I know myself and that wasn’t going to work for me so I made a second appointment for the same day just later in the afternoon. A few weeks go by and I receive and email confirming that I canceled my first appointment (which I did not do). I called them first thing the next day and a very rude woman answered the phone and simply told me I was only allowed 1 appointment (keep in mind I was traveling 3 states over to visit this shop specifically) I told her I was going to require more time or they would loose my business. She agreed to let me come in at the earlier time and would be allowed an hour. The day of the appointment I show up on time for my first appointment and the girl at the front tells me I’m not on the schedule. Another woman comes out and tells me she can attempt to accommodate me. I finally get to in a dressing room and she did not allow me to look through the racks myself. She simply asked me a few questions and pulled dresses for me. We went through 5-6 dresses and I hated them all. She finally allows me to look around. I instantly find one on the rack I like, try it on and it was the winner of the day. Overall the entire experience made me feel more like a nuisance than a bride. I would not recommend anyone go there simply because of how they run their business and treat their customers. As far as their dress selection, it was pretty slim and not much variety.

This store carries a great selection of quality, vintage/classy beautiful gowns, which is exactly the style I was looking for. The staff there are very nice and helpful. I actually ended up choosing a dress one of the ladies there picked out for me. They even special ordered several veils for me to try with my dress too. Would highly recommend.

I am an event planner and very picky ! But the experience with this store is amazingly wonderful I cant say enough !! Every bride needs to purchase their wedding gown and accessories from Bridal By Natalie! From the minute I walked into the store, I was welcomed with a smile and had the most wonderful experience. My bridal consultant was super friendly as well as the Manager of the store. They made the entire experience just plain fun. The salon is nothing less than spectacular. Its gorgeous! It is nothing like a pushy retail experience nor a snobby, stuffy boutique either. The staff is super friendly and they really listen to YOUR vision for your big day. They make suggestions but arent pushy. I mean how many times do you go wedding gown shopping, right? It was such a relief to find such an amazing selection of gowns priced within my budget too. Let me tell you this is the BEST SELECTION of wedding gowns in all of Virginia for my budget. Believe me, I have done this job for a long time and I went everywhere. Do yourself a favor and go here first. When you find the gown, buy it. You wont find anything better in town. I am going to tell all my friends and co-workers about Bridal By Natalie!! Just left Bridals by Natalie and had a fantastic experience. The consultants are knowledgable, patient, and kind! They have a beautiful selection of dresses at $1-3k and do seamstressing in-house. This isn’t a frilly place with pink walls and free champagne, but who cares? It’s about the dress. I would 100% buy my gown from here but still can’t decide on THE ONE! I was so impressed! ** (Long Post!)Originally The reviews for Bridals by Natalie in Alexandria had me hesitant to visit but I wanted to make sure I experienced it for myself. I am soo happy I did!The gowns were absolutely beautiful! As shown by their inventory online. Walking in I was concerned that they would not have beautiful gowns in my size (I am 55 and wear a 16 curvy in bridal). When it comes to other bridal shops (Davids Bridal etc.) a lot of the breathtaking gowns in store were in smaller sizes.I was assisted by Gladys and she was very polite and helpful. When I arrived she was finishing up a shipment and asked that me and my party of 3 wait for a moment. I will say that the bridal shop is rather small so if youre looking for a fancy boutique for your entire bridal party to sit around and be waited on while you try on dresses...this is not that place. Lol but that does not take away from the experience!We only waited maybe 10 minutes and then Gladys asked me questions about where the wedding would be what kind of styles I think I am into the kinds of fabric I like and led me around her the shop while she pulled several dresses in different styles (Im very open minded) and they all fit me, Im talking minor alterations would be needed. I tried on at least 6 dresses all under 1200. She helped me into the dressed and tied or clipped together ones that wouldnt close all the way just so I can see the style of the dress.Again overall I was very impressed and so happy that I went! I would recommend and will defiantly be returning again soon!

They have so many beautiful dresses in this store! I liked that they had modern options too (the type you see in instagram and pinterest). The staff is amazing!!! Theyre dedicated and they show real interest in you and in finding what you want without being overwhelming.

The Consultants were rude and rushed us completely, we had an appointment that was supposed to be an hour and it lasted 10 minutes. Even if I did find the one I would find it else where because the staff was not friendly or welcoming at all! Would give 0 stars if possible.

I bought a pair of gloves for my youngest daughter for cotillion. They were overpriced ($26.00) but the shop is local and I wanted to give support, so I bought them. The saleswoman never mentioned they had a ZERO return policy, even for unworn, non-custom items. Absurd! I will never shop there again.

I have been to well over 30 bridal shops - This experience was atrocious.Arriving at opening (10am) with an appt that was booked a month in advance, were a party of 5 & theres a party of 2 also in the shop. Were all just standing around, Lady 1 asks us 3x if we were/who was together, and who had gotten there first. The boutique is by appt only, so I thought this question was off-putting, but we continued into a TINY changing area with Lady 1. The # of guests were provided in advance, yet the small space only had 2 chairs for us & was split in half to accommodate two parties. Ok minor detail, two more chairs squished everyone on top of each other, leaving very little walking room! The other bridal party (of 2) was put in the same room but their area was about twice as big. This showed me was that no planning/thought was put into the appts. The smaller side should not exist at all: theres no podium/space & exposed pipes and wiring thats visible in every photo ew.Moving on... the bride had prepared - her date, budget, designers, style #s and printed photos of dress she was interested in. She handed the photos to Lady 1 who glanced at it for 30 secs. In response, Lady 1 asked our party:Arent you going to help pull dresses?First of all, no. It is not our responsibility to go searching in the most disorganized bridal shop I have ever seen. When asked how the dresses were organized, Lady 1 said that they were organized by SIZE. Not style, not price, not designer. The most irrelevant part of the wedding dress shopping experience is the way this shop uses to organize their offerings. So here we were, 5 gals searching the entire place, checking prices/necklines/beading/asking bride. How absolutely awful. Lady 1 had the audacity to ask MOB if she needed help finding something. Lady 1 didnt know names of veils (chapel, floor) it was very odd.Skipping forward the bride finds her dress. Cries and falls in love. I ask about a timeline, cause ours is tougher than most. This is something the shop shouldve considered, since theyve have the details for over a month.Asking about timeline, Lady 1 announces that it will take 4-5months to receive the dress.The wedding is 4 months & 5 days away from the date of the appt.I have in front of me a bride who is panicking, standing in her dream dress & a veil, getting flustered and obviously on verge of tears. Lady 1 keeps repeating the 4 month window, then using the excuse that she thought it was at the end of the month in 4 months (which is absurd because the date was provided multiple times,but also irrelevant because it would have put any bride outside the window). Here I am at the ready to get the style number and hunt this dress out anywhere I can even think of while Lady 1 is scurrying around talking to Lady 2. They come back in and say they they could get it here in 3 months. I was appalled. How unprofessional was it to make a bride struggle like this? Nothing was prepared, nothing was organized, no help was provided, everything that could have gone wrong - did.I was not the bride but I feel awful that this place and their people stole such an important experience from her and tarnished the memory of finding her perfect dress.I would not recommend this bridal salon to my enemies because even they deserve a respectful bridal appointment which they can cherish forever. I intend to post this review everywhere I can to save another bride the disappointment of working with this shop.
