GBC was great to work with. We did a full kitchen remodel, removing 2 walls, combining the kitchen, dining room and hallway. Both walls were load bearing and after demo we were worried we would have to have another column in the kitchen but that was averted with an additional post on an existing column (Yay!).The designer was awesome (but no longer with them), Ray (project mngr) was responsive, but the real stars were Alex and Jacob! They did an amazing job, always on time and willing to answer any questions I had. They brought any issues to my attention right away and we talked through how to best fix them. The estimate was spot on and additional work was priced before ordering so there were no surprises. We really enjoyed working with GBC and would recommend them to any of our friends or family. The work was estimated for 6 weeks and they finished in 5! I cannot put into words how much I love my new kitchen!!!

GBC and their team attention to detail tells you how much they actually really care about their customers and making sure that they are 100% satisfied with the work they do. I bought a fixer-uppers my first house and it had carpet in every single room. Not being to decide what type of flooring I want, I requested a quote and was contacted almost immediately by Alan. After doing the virtual tour he made me feel comfortable that I was making the right decision on getting the stone floor installation in my kitchen, leaving the bedrooms with carpet, and installing laminate floors throughout the rest of the house. Any question or concern that I had (and will such a difficult renovation there was a good amount), was answered promptly and given so much reassurance. GBC did a great job on my kitchen remodel. Fabian was accommodating to my needs from an a design perspective and flexible when it came to options within my budget. Selim was great at communicating throughout the demolition and installation process. He was very responsive and helpful when it came to last minute adjustments. Alex and his team member were professional during the entire remodeling process. They were on time everyday and spent little time demoing and installing. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns.

GBC completed a full kitchen and powder room remodel for us -- new cabinets, countertops, back splash, lighting and flooring. they also put in an electrical line to support a new over-the-range microwave. The work was impeccable! The crew was professional and made every effort to reduce the impact on our daily activities (I was working from home while the work was being done). The quality is impressive, and the punch list only had a few minor items once they were done. During the work, the crew supervisor was responsive any time I contacted him and always followed through on any decisions made. I would whole-heartedly recommend GBC for anyone looking to have kitchen or bath work done. Their pricing is very competitive (significantly below the 2 other companies we got quotes from) and they are fair and honest! Unlike the other companies we contacted, at NO TIME did I feel like they were trying to sell us or force us into a decision. We will definitely be coming back to GBC when were ready to do the other bathrooms in our house!

While working from home, I received a couple of quotes to fully remodel my townhomes kitchen (flooring, cabinets, backsplash, countertops, handles) and their estimate was more on my budget. George helped me to design it and Sujan was the project manager. The design process was very easy using their showroom and George worked with me when I changed a couple of items after the contract was signed, but very early in process. The cabinets took about 8 weeks as estimated and the job estimate was 2-4 weeks. Excluding Sundays, the day to allow flooring to set, the day waiting for countertop measurement and awaiting correct handles to be delivered, from demo to completion, the job was completed in only 8 days! I only had 2 changes from my original kitchen design, which was to wire for an over-the-range microwave and cut down the bar counter to be counter length in front of faucet instead. I am so very happy with my new kitchen and GBC (designer, project manager, customer service, crew) and will also be getting an estimate for my master bath. I have already highly recommended GBC to friends.

We had both of our bathrooms remodeled; they were able to seamlessly complete one bathroom and the next start the other. We could not be more pleased with Ray, and Anibal’s crew. Not only did they show up every morning as planned, they were pleasant, friendly, and very respectful of not only our home, but also the common areas of condo buildings. I even received compliments from my neighbor about how the crew was careful to clean the common area path they used in bringing in supplies and materials.The work they did was amazing, and Anibal took the time to ask us about some of the small details like the height of shelves, and even made sure the shower placement was a good height before starting the install. They were able to complete the remodel of both our full bathrooms within 4 weeks. We have received only compliments on how wonderful our new bathrooms look when friends see them. We are sharing with all our friends and neighbors how happy we are with GBC, Ray, and Anibal’s crew from start to finish.

I ordered cabinets for a bathroom vanity from GBC. I am very pleased with the high quality of the cabinets. The price was very competitive and delivery was fast. My order was small by comparison to their usual orders, I would think, and yet the salesperson, Fabian, spent a good deal of time with me while we configured the cabinets which were somewhat specialized. The whole office staff was very pleasant and supportive.

Great experience with the installation of cabinets/bar in our media room. The took the same care on this relatively small job that they apparently take on full kitchen remodels. Pedro the designer got the cabinets to fit perfectly and Tony and his installation crew did high quality work - insisting on doing even a small drywall patch the right way versus the fast way. Highly recommended.

We chose GBC kitchen and bath for our remodel after doing a little searching, getting recommendations from friends and estimates from other companies and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. From the moment we started the process to the moment it was done they took wonderful care of us and made sure our concerns were all addressed. Our remodel wasn’t easy since we had a wall we couldn’t remove which cut down on our options, but working with George was breeze to work around those issues. He did a great job with the design and was so helpful with helping us choose the right options for our kitchen. Our estimate was much lower than the other companies and we never had any hidden costs or strange upcharges that are all too common these days.Once work started, our PM Ray, and the entire crew were great. Ray was always available if we had any questions and was very easy to work with. The crews that we worked with for both the general construction and the countertops were respectful of our time and space and did amazing work. We are incredibly happy with our kitchen and even though it is the same footprint as before it feels twice as big and open. We used GBC to remodel our tiny master bathroom- the process was seamless from meeting with the design consultant, to having a team assigned with a specific project manager for our project, and completion of the project. We are pleased with how the space turned out! There were some minor issues during the remodel but our project manager, Ray, was able to respond timely and have things corrected immediately.We’ve been in using our bathroom for a week now and are pleased, and I am comforted to know they offer a 2 year warranty on their work as well!

The job that they did was more than outstanding when it came to creating the modern vision of my kitchen to life! Threw out this process of me deciding to remodel my kitchen. I had interviewed at least six different companies in little less than a year (I made sure I took my time and made the right decision) From the first meeting with GBC, there was no doubt in my mind that Im glad that I waited. He knew and understood exactly what I was looking for and The company as a whole was professional, respectful and everyones effort and workmanship was at 100% every single day until the job was completed. I could not thank this company enough!

I had a really big job that I needed the guys over at GBC to come take a look at and give me an estimate. Knocking out a wall out between 2 rooms is a lot of work and alot of clean up. GBC hires unlicensed workers to install bath tiles, bathroom floor tiles. We have ongoing issues from May of 2019, when GBC started working on our bathrooms. GBC crew damaged the water pipe cause multiple water leaks in our living room. GBC agents who provided us the contract Burak and Allen are not honest and lied to use during and after the remodeling of our bathrooms. The project manager Walid was never available during the remodeling of the bathrooms.Since the beginning of the project, GBC did not follow the terms of the remodeling contract for both bathrooms GBC provided us. During the remodeling project, the GBC crew damaged our walls behind the showers and damaged our newly installed carpets. GBC doesn’t follow the terms on the contract the signed and provided us.GBC did not installed the make and the model of the Grohe shower set and Faucet that GBC showed us at their showroom and we selected the Grohe shower set and faucet. We have called Burak multiple times and informed him of the on going issues with the bathrooms during the remodeling. Burak made visits to our house and takes pictures of the area of the bathrooms, but never calls and resolve and repair anything. Burak send one guy who damaged the faucets and the shower door in our bathrooms. Burak doesn’t keep his promises and is a disrespectful person. Burak raised his voice at me over the phone and intimidated me and tried to raise his voice and tried to force us that we should be happy with the remodeling work. We have sent multiple emails with pictures of the areas of the bathrooms floor tiles, bathrooms shower door sealant bathrooms wall tiles and floor tiles, the cracks and chipped silicone on the counter and on the floor tiles to Burak.I will be uploading the photos and details of the text and emails conversation with Burak and GBC.The main concern I have is that GBC agents manipulated the contract even the have signed and provided a copy to us. GBC also hires unlicensed guys to install tile floor, install the shower and faucet and remodel bathrooms.2/18/2021: @GBC:reach out to Burak and review our emails to Burak about all the ongoing issues with bathrooms.GBC never reached out to me or my husband to resolve the ongoing issues. We reached out to Burak since the beginning of the remodeling project. GBC has the contract and should review it with Burak.Let us know what GBC will do to resolve these ongoing issues.There are several chipped grout between the tiles.The floor tiles were installed uneven and unleveled. The grout was not laid out evenly floor tiles on both bathrooms. Burak took pictures of the unleveled floor tiles in both bathrooms back in 2019 and told us that he will have the GBC guys reinstall it properly. None of the floor tiles were reinstalled. There are several visible grout cracks between the floor tiles in our bathrooms. We paid GBC for the floor tiles to be installed perfectly by licensed GBC crew. GBC did not have a license professional tiles crew.GBC agents installed a cheap quality mirror in both bathrooms. One mirror tarnished due to the excess amount of the glue the GBC put behind it and the had to replace it 2 days after the installed it. The second mirror had a chipped corner and GBC still installed it in our bathroom and covered the chipped cracked part with clear silicone. We called Burak and he sent a guy to reinstall the mirror. Now we have one bathroom shower that we are using because we have been waiting for Burak since September of 2020 to send someone to repair the shower door sealant in our first bathroom.The sink stoppers are damaged because the unlicensed plumbing guy that was sent to our house by Burak completely twisted and damaged the stopper rods underneath the sink.The GBC guy put an excessive amount of silicone between the shower door panels. Maybe silicone is not a solution to repair everything!These are the pictures of the unleveled floor tiles, chipped paint, silicone unleveled wall tiles, cracked grout between the tiles and tub and floor tiles and a broken molding.

They redesigned our kitchen into something I could never have imagined. We now have a beautiful island and plenty of space for multiple people to be in the kitchen at once. They have redone our master bathroom and it is gorgeous!!

They remodeled my kitchen, which included: (1) expansion of the size of the kitchen, (2) relocation and installation of new appliances, (3) relocation and addition of electrical and plumbing fixtures, (4) new flooring, (5) new cabinets and (6) new counters. My design was complicated.The team at GBC was three things. (A) the BEST Price bid, (B) ON-TIME, (#) Excellent Quality Craftsmanship. I recommend GBC to you for your up-coming remodel! I especially recommend that you speak with either Liz or Luisa to help you design your new Kitchen or Bath. Also, ask that Rudolfo oversee your project on-site. Another great job by GBC! We wanted a reno to our upstairs kids bathroom and they did awesome. They were on time, clean, and communicative throughout the whole process. Fabian and Sel were great to work with and made the experience a positive one. Well be using them again for future projects!

GBC remodeled my small condo kitchen and I couldn’t be happier! From the beginning, George, the designer, was responsive and helped me put my ideas to paper and provided helpful feedback and suggestions. Also, GBC was respectful of my budget (other companies I got estimates from were $10k-$30k over my budget!!). Going to the showroom to pick out materials was a smooth process and they had so many options to choose from!During the construction, my project manager, Ray, was in regular contact with me to provide updates during the project so I knew what to expect and was available whenever I had questions. The crew was professional, respectful of my home, and worked efficiently. They showed up on time daily. The estimated time to complete my project was 2-4 weeks, and they finished in 15 days. I’m impressed with the quality of the work and highly recommend them for your next project. In fact, I will be renovating my bathroom soon and plan on using them for that.

Hired GBC to remodel (gut) my 1941 kitchen and bathroom. Contract signed in Nov 2020, work began Jan 2021 and completed end of Feb 2021. I am thrilled with the results! GBC kept the remodel on time and on budget. Ray, the project manager, kept me informed with near daily text & pic updates. Any problems that arose were presented to me with potential solutions. Strongly recommend working with GBC.

GBC did a kitchen reno for me in my 90+ year old house. They did a great job designing and implementing the reno on a timely basis with the challenges of an older house. Ray and the crew were extremely responsive during the process and produced a high quality end product. I especially appreciated how the straightened up each day - so important since I (and my pets) were living in the house for much of the reno. Cost was fair and they were very up front about the impact of any changes that I made or were became necessary to bring things up to code. Completed the project on time as well.

I called GBC on March 19 because my husband and I are doing a master bath and closet remodel. I saw their company highlighted on Houzz and the Google review rating was so high. The first time I called, I was told my location (Clinton, Maryland, 21 miles away) was not in their footprint and too far away to service. Also, that I was too far away from the Rockville location also.When I inquired further, telling them I saw references to projects further away on their website (for example Bristow, Virginia) the person who answered the phone said he would check with the project manager and call me back. No one called back, so I called again on March 25 asking to speak with the project manager.I explained my issue to the woman who answered the phone and they made an appointment for a designer to come to our home and complete an estimate on April 7. The designer was an hour late, he said the rough estimate for the bathroom portion of our project would be up to $40,000, that they do not do closet remodels and that a proposal/estimate was coming no later than a week. He said that was due to COVID issues causing people to be out and that he was the only designer currently working. We never heard from him or the company again.Meanwhile, other people seem to have great reviews for this company in the last weeks and days, for responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. While the people in Southern Prince Georges County who live outside of their footprint get no service, no explanation, no response, no apology and no professionalism for poor treatment.I agree with a previous reviewer. If I could give a lower rating, I would.

If I could it would be Negative stars, I have a very small bathroom and it took 3 months to complete my job because of the lack of quality work done and the crew just didnt pay attention to details.The plumbing work was a joke had multiple leaks and one time completely flooded the bathroom AFTER it was fixed. I kept getting told that my job was done and the same things I had pointed out prior still were not addressed. At the end of the job I just gave up and am living with cracked tile, a rusted near the drain BRAND NEW tub, and paint and rust on new hinges. I suggest not looking at the cushy reviews and seeing the ones with the bad experience because those are the REAL reviews.***EDIT 9/28/19****Got a phone call from GBC this afternoon, and was offered a $500 gift card to take down this review. Again, check the real reviews. That’s why their listing is so high they try to buy back good reviews!!!!

I finally have the kitchen of my dreams and GBC made it possible. My husband and I were very impressed with their professional process and high-quality work. From the beginning, the GBC team (George, Burak, Ray, Yunus, Claudio and his crew) assisted us step-by-step through the design process and the selection of cabinets and hardware. When we asked for impossible designs, they sat down with us and made it work. Of course there are always hiccups, and of course I changed my mind more than once during the build. They always responded with the utmost professionalism, always courteous, respectful and trustworthy. I also would like to add that this was the first time in my life where I did not get frustrated with a contractor. They listened attentively to every detail I wanted to have in my kitchen and they projected it beyond my imagination. Now my kitchen is a great and elegant space for our family and friends to enjoy bonding time for years to come. My husband was impressed not only with the quality of the work, but the value. GBC kept costs down without sacrificing quality. They promised the entire process would take from two to four weeks. They finished in exactly three weeks!. When we first decided that we would do a major remodel on our kitchen, I began researching companies. GBC Kitchen and Bath was one of the first companies that I came across. After researching other companies, GBC stood out. They had many great reviews based on their quality of work, price, and professionalism. We opted to do a consult with them. During the initial consult, we met with George Bryan, the designer. We gave him our budget range, and a general idea of what we wanted. He came back with a great design and within the budget range (we ended up going slightly over the budget but that was because we added on some stuff along the way). George was very professional and responsive. We ran by a lot of different ideas by him, and he would always give his honest opinion. Also, he was very helpful when it came to choosing countertops, backsplash, cabinetry, etc. When the project began, we were assigned our project manager, Ray. Ray was great. He was very professional and responsive to any questions we had and would constantly give us updates about what the crew would work on and when. He was easy to communicate with. During the project, the crew took all of the necessary COVID precautions and masks were worn at all times. They gave us a timeline of 4 weeks and they actually were done 1 day early! How often do contractors actually get done quicker? Im so used to projects taking longer that expected so this was a breath of fresh air. They only reason it took 4 weeks was because the Alexandria City took a long time to actually come out to inspect. Ray and warned us up front that Alexandria City was notoriously slow for inspections. The finished product of our kitchen is outstanding. We received a lot of compliments on the design and quality of work, including my father-in-law, who is quite good at finding at finding even the smallest imperfections, saying, They knocked it out of the park. I cant find anything wrong with it.. Overall, I cant say enough good things about our experience with the GBC team with a special thanks to George, Ray, and the entire crew that worked on kitchen.

We purchased a new townhouse in a perfect part of Alexandria. We are so close to the restaurants and coffee spots. We love the feel of the neighborhood, the size of our townhouse, but we quickly realized the kitchen had to go. It wasn’t functional, it didn’t fit our personalities, and it was embarrassing to be honest! We chose to hire GBC Kitchen and Bath to design and remodel our kitchen. Hired GBC Kitchen and Bath for a project in my kitchen in my condo. We knocked down a wall to open it up and replaced counter tops. They had one of the more budget friendly estimates that I got. They were a few days over the original time for completion, but overall Im very impressed with the work. The kitchen looks great!

I have been doing a lot of research online in order to redo our kitchen myself as I am very handy and have done lots of work already on our home. After watching tons of videos on YouTube, I decided that I am nowhere near skilled enough to take on such a project nor did I really have the time. I then turned my focus into researching local companies and I came upon GBC Kitchen & Bath. I knew from the start that I made a good decision. They showed up on time, provided me a free estimate, and were fully knowledgeable and provided me several different options on the design that I hadn’t thought about during my own research. Did a great job on our bathroom remodel. We finally finished our basement (been trying for over 10 year) and we hired GBC Kitchen and Bath to do the bathroom. They were able to rearrange somethings as not everything was in line to put a bathroom there. It all turned out great. It really completed the bathroom!

GBCs Tony did a wonderful job on two recent home projects. One was the assembling of furniture and the other was mounting curtain rods, which was challenging given the slant of the roof line. Tony was a true professional,. He even secured my banister after noticing that is was loose. I would not hesitate to use his services again. Kudos Tony!

Very happy with their craftmanship and the final outcome. I just admit that I was a bit nervous when I decided to renovate my bathroom. They quickly put any and all fears away. Their knowledge and expertise and the way they answered all my questions really put my mind at ease. Love the new heated floors, the new fixtures, and the color scheme!

Alan was helpful during our renovation. We love the new cabinets (the feature where they don’t slam is amazing haha). We didn’t have the biggest budget in the world but they really helped us design the kitchen with all of our wants and helped us keep it within our budget. From the first in home estimate to the final day of construction, they were very professional, always prompt and respectful of our home. The crew, led in part by Tony Novoa, went above and beyond to work past the foibles of the old building I live in to bring the vision to fruition. I couldnt be happier. We needed a full bath down in the basement of our new house so we called GBC Kitchen and Bath. We finished the rest of the basement and made it into a MAN CAVE for my husband and our 3 football loving boys! They came up with a great design that wasn’t too modern but comfortable and it looks great. The boys love it and my husband loves it and I now know I won’t be embarrassed when we have guests over haha. Go Redskins!

I am very satisfied with the workmanship of the crew assigned to this project. Throughout the project, the installation team was precise in their work and helpful in discussing minor changes. GBC’s project manager and project supervisor often monitored the status of the upgrade. The work was completed in 4 days and to my surprise, I was informed that a cleaning crew will take care of my place the following day. GBC and the construction team did an excellent job and I gladly recommend their services.
