Had a great haircut, got the cut from a nice lady named Najat. She did a great job and gave me exactly what I wanted. Would go again and would recommend!

Hairstylists are very professional! Neat and clean!

Made an online reservation an hour before close. Showed up 20 minutes later, they were closed. Incredibly unprofessional not to turn off the reservation system or reach out to customers you know are on the way in.

I was removed from the 71 minute waitlist as I was standing in the waiting area after checking in. This is unacceptable they did not bother to look at who was next on the list they just deleted my name. Now I have to wait another 71 minutes. I will not be going back if this is how Sports clips likes to treat their customers. Especially ones that wait for 71 minutes.

I am not one to go out of my way with my hair, heck I wont have it for very much longer anyways. That being said, the VIP package they offer is pretty decent an relaxing. I cant say too much on the skill of the barbers because my cut is pretty simple but they always get it right so take from that what you will. Attitude wise everyone there is super friendly, and I havent had to wait too long. Be wary though Im sure like all places though weekends and after 5 are probably packed. And in the end it is a 20 dollar cut. The value is there but no one should ever go to one of these places and expect something complicated to come out perfect. Its not really about the skill of the barber but in this area,its all high and tights so thats what the only practice they get. Barbers need to practice their skill like any professional. Sorry went on a little rant.

The lady I got barely knew how to speak English and clearly did not understand anything I asked. She used the wrong guards and did not listen to anything I requested, even after explaining multiple, multiple times. My simple haircut turned out completely uneven, patchy, and overall sloppy. Will never return to SportsClips again after this final experience.

Make sure to check the wait time. I drove out here and found the wait time was 48 min.

I love this place. Sherrie has been cutting my boys and my hair for a year. She does a great job.My 7yr old loves the hot towel.My 13yr old likes his hair washed.36yr old me likes talking sport while I wait.There is no better place for mens hair care. My wife has the SPA and some hundred dollar salon and my boys and I have sport clips.

I asked for a high fade and asked for skin instead i got a medium with a bunch of hair patches on the sides two low cut spots and the top of my hair was cut weird. i asked to dry my hair and she insisted on using lotion for hair health so come home to find out my hair is a mess and know i have to spend even more money to fix my hairline and practically go bald

I generally believe that a $20 haircut will look like a $20 haircut, but Sherri is the best kept secret in the area.Super affordable cut AND a great looking cut. Use the website to see the wait and check in ahead of time.

First time seeing this gent at the Alexandria, VA (hilltop) store. My Son not pleased with the cut. Seemed like the stylist didnt know what to do and the bangs came out uneven.

The only problem with this place is they cannot keep their good people. I have been coming here since it opened, lots of great barbers but next time you go back theyre history. I was told by a couple of them that management is the problem

Sherry is by far the best hairstylist! I have changed places to stay in Fairfax but havent changed the salon because of her! She knows exactly how to trim and when to use the scissors! Very professional and good talker! Kudos!

Avoid this location. They have zero time management. I checked in online and was told to be here at 3:50. It’s almost 4:30 and I’m still waiting, they’ve skipped me and taken 3 people in front of me because some soccer mom thought she was more important than the rest of the people waiting. Will never be coming back to this location.

This store needs to be temporarily closed until the staffing issue is addressed. Over the past two months its went from fully staffed to having one or two people on weekends resulting in 2 hour wait times. Lately the workers havent even been for this store, but borrows from the VA/MD area. NOW the person supposed to be opening today didnt even show up. I waited for an hour outside with others and the staff hoping the person showed up.. this is entirely unacceptable. I get great haircuts here from the actual staff but I will not be coming back here for some time until management of this store gets it together.

My husband and son go here biweekly. My husband has had some really great haircuts but he had one girl named Stella specifically who messed it up really bad! He’s in the Army so he can’t have messed up hair cuts but we gave her another shot at redeeming herself by cutting our sons & She messed that up too. Since the first 2 times we have been stuck going with her once more for our son and she once again screwed it up. She’s awful and working in the area she does she probably should be good at fades! Extremely disappointed and just wanted to make other people aware of her lack of skills.

MAY 1, 2017. Wow horrible experience. I signed in and waited 30 minutes for a touch up. When it was my turn the lady working asked me to come back because her trimmer isnt working right now. This literally just happened TODAY May 1, 2017. I told her I tip nicely even for touch ups and she told me she actually shouldnt even be open right now. What??? Its the afternoon. Her trimmer doesnt work? She just finished a haircut with someone. She couldve had an easy 5 dollar tip for a 5 minute touch up. Unbelievable I waited 30 minutes and then asked to leave at 1230pm in the afternoon.

This place is AWESOME. Ive visited 3 (different) barber shops before coming to sports clips. And the barbers there actually listens to me. And give me the haircut I want.

Always ask for Sherri, she does an amazing job every time.Do not let the stylist named Stella touch your hair. I went in for a complimentary neck trim and she butchered my sideburns. All I asked was that she even them up. The first time she asked how they looked, one was cut on a 45 degree angle and looked worse than when I arrived. After a second attempt she finally made them even but she left an inch and a half of shorter sideburns. When I walked in they were at the bottom of my earlobes, when I walked out they were out the top of my earlobes.

Took my son here like we normally go. There is a lady with long blond wavy hair who cut my sons hair. He asked for a temp fade and got a high and tight. It was straight butchered. Lines were crooked and all. There was no fixing it. It looks a hot mess. Will not be returning.

I visited Sports Clips and had a great experience. Maggie was great and I will definitely visit again. My last haircut with a Sport Clips in GA was bad, so I was a little apprehensive. Thanks Maggie !!!

My husband took my son in today 7/6/18 for a SIMPLE undercut. Stella was the woman who cut my sons hair, and to say she butchered it is an understatement. She not only took it up ridiculously high on the right side, but the lines were terribly crooked. When my husband questioned what happened, Stella decided the best thing to do was catch an attitude. Luckily, Sherri the manager was there to intervene and apologize for the horrible treatment and cut recieved. She offered to try to fix Stellas mistake, but seeing as she took it far too high there was no helping the situation. She did give my husband a refund, which I feel was the least she could do. Thank you Sherri for trying to help, but what you need to do is fire Stella.

Do not waste your time at this store. The 3 times I have walked in I was treated poorly, they screwed up my iPhone 10 order and they have no clue what they are doing. This stores manager should be fired !

There are a couple decent haircutters here, but one just lopped off about a dime thickness worth of hair that took about a year to grow. it was literally the one thing i expressly said -to leave the top long.i found it falling off my head when i went home to shower, not 10-15 minutes after my cut. thanks a lot. the hair was already tied up, you just had to cut around it, and you cant even perform a task as simple as that. i already know i wont get compensated, or contacted by the owners, and i also know ill never give them my business again.

Checked in online, showed up when they suggested I should, I expected to wait since not everything is fool proof. After I checked in the worker named Stella started taking people’s names off the waiting list because they weren’t in the building even though they still had 20 plus mins left on their wait time. One guy comes in disgruntled because his name was taken off and Stella acts oblivious to how that happened. So she lets him skip ahead and get his haircut next instead of owning her mistake and checking if he was actually next. After that I sat in the shop for 50 mins just for my name to fall of the queue and then get told I had to check in again and wait. Which the waiting list was now 1hr and 30 mins.TL:DR don’t recommend this place at all
