So I walked in here and gave very specific instructions: give me a 1 on the sides and back, do not cut the top. I left with nothing I asked for done, and the worst haircut Ive had since my dad did it himself when I was 10. Barber got over zealous thinking he knew better. Love that its locally owned, but this is a terrible barber shop. Come here at your own risk.

Great neighborhood barbershop in Alexandria. Expected to see Luke Cage and Ice-T in the back. Nice, tight haircut, and we had to work together to get it just right. Friendly atmosphere, without getting too much into peoples business. Price was a bit steep... But I still tipped!

Mark gets the job done excellently every time! Whatever you need, faded sides, super straight hairline, designs and a comfortable and accurate beard trim to finish. He makes sure every customer leaves with a smile, and a better head on their shoulders.

After recently moving to the DMV area, I was in need of a barber. After trying a couple of shops, I just couldnt get with the appointment thing. It felt strange. And if I didnt have one I waited without ever knowing who was next. And the atmosphere was dead to me.I wanted that barbershop feel I knew as a kid, and then I found All American. It was everything i expected, reminds me of when I was growing up.Top notch cuts to the neighborhood vibes, what more can you ask for!

This was my first haircut since moving back to the D.C. area. Finding a barber that listens and gives a great cut can be hard, but I was lucky and net Rice.He wad both really nice to chat with and gave a very good cut, one of the best I have had in a long time. Im sure Ill be a regular since it is close to my work.

Nasty, the gay guy barber was way too touchy feely. Just gross.He kept sliding his hand along my arm, and touching my shoulders. Just a creep.

The All American Blackman’s Barbershop for sure. Don’t expect to get in and out if you’re in a hurry, I’ve been a customer for 20+ years and I’ve never spent less than an hour and a half (sometimes waiting in line) and it’s always been worth it.

Nice people, however the gentleman total butchered my hair, and I ended up just buzzing my hair down to the scalp when I got home, very disappointing. I am 30, birthday is next week, hair has begun thinning on top, and now its buzzed, great times!
