When I first arrived in the DC area from Miami, I chose this barbershop and couldn’t be more thrilled with my barber, Sam. She is both the kindest and nicest person in the world and also a professional.

I called for an appointment first but was 10 min early. Jinn took me right away! In 15 min I looked great and she was so quick and friendly that I will come back again!!

Best barber shop I have found in the area! Everyone that works there is amazing and an extra shout-out to Jin for her great work! Very easy to communicate with and does a solid job each time. Bonus for being one of the few barber shops that does shampoo after a haircut because who likes leaving and still having to rinse their head after?

I have been going there for years with my son. Jin gives great haircuts and everyone is very nice. The price for a haircut has been raise to $20 since they reopened from the virus.

Excellent place. Reasonable prices, barbers are competent, efficient, and careful. I gave very basic instructions and she knew exactly what to do with them to make my hair look nice. I went early in the morning when they opened and walked right in with no wait. Im moving in a few days but Im going back one more time before I leave, I recommend the place to any guy.

My favorite barber place

I can only speak for Mens haircuts, but the ladies cutting hair here are really good at what they do. They are excellent with a fade, and I have found them capable of doing nearly any haircut with a picture. They complete each of my haircuts with warm shaving foam and a straight razor on he back of my neck for a sharp line! They are also very pleasant to speak to, and keep their place comfortable and clean. The price is also excellent for this area.Be aware, this is a cash only establishment. They have an ATM on site, but I have seen a couple individuals get irritated when they wont take their card. Bring cash, and youll be happy and leave looking great.

Excellent men’s haircut for $20. Worth every penny, considering the effort and care the staff put into giving you a high-quality clip. I’ve been coming here for years and have yet to have a bad experience.

Ive been going here for about a year and have only had good experiences with the ladies who run shop. They are not bothersome like some other barber shops, and are easy to understand style preferences. Only good experiences here with 4-5 haircuts overall.

Kelly at Best Barber Shop does a fantastic job. Both my wife and I have her cut our hair and we are regularly impressed with her attention to detail and thoroughness. Well soon be moving to California and we hope that we are able to find a barber as talented as she is.

All of the barbers here are great. However, Jin is usually my go to - she is consistent, efficient, and does an excellent job. They will remember you here. So if you enjoy getting the same good haircut every time you go to the barber this is your place.

All these reviews pushed me to try it out. Whoever this Tina lady is she wasnt there which was good. Kelly cut my hair. Did a good job. Apparently Sam isnt there right now after knee surgery so i was unable to guage if she is as good as everyone says. Kelly was friendly and always asked before doing anything. Used a photo of myself a few months ago to show her what i wanted. She gave me exactly that. Personally as a Marine vet from NC i think the price is a little steep. So used to $5 haircuts but $16 wasnt terrible.

This place was great... brand new to D.C., and I usually cut my own hair. I may, however, have to come see Sam once in a while... she is fantastic!

This place is usually fairly good, just make sure you do NOT get Tina. Everyone else there is great, but Tina is unprofessional and annoying. Its definitely worth making an appointment so you can avoid her. Be warned, if you just walk in, shes often the first one available because the rest have appointments.

I owned a unisex hair salon for 10 years. These ladies know what they are doing. I always like Miss Sam. If the lady you want is busy you can always wait.

In my life, I never seen a barber like this place. They dont know nothing about hair cutting. The one who cut my hair is she doesnt know how to use even the machine. Unparalleled quality, this place is seriously $30-$40 quality cuts for a fraction. I usually pay $20 just because otherwise it feels like Im robbing them. I came here first because it was open and close, now I drive accross town because its worth it.
