MINI of Alexandria doesnt even deserve a star in my opinion. I had been taking my MINI Countryman for service and repairs at this location for the last 2 years. Ive spent quite a bit of money for service and/or repairs. I have always liked that they provided me with a loaner car and I was always able to get an early morning appointment for service. It is one of the main reasons I come here for service/repair. However, recently they called and texted me. They didnt tell me why they were calling or texting. Likely to try and sell me a new car. They send me a ton of mailers to purchase a car or trade my car in etc. Sent me a letter saying that because of Covid 19 used car sales are up and they want to buy my car.Coincidentally my car is due for an inspection and one-year service in September. So, I sent a message back to request an appointment and loaner car. To my surprise they didnt return my message for 3 days. Then, they went ahead and scheduled a time for me to bring my car in without calling me first to ask what time would work for me? They said to come in at 11:15 AM on a Friday, but I would need to wait around for 2 hours for the service to be completed. If the service took longer than 2 hours they would provide a loaner. I was like what? This dealership is either hard up or the person scheduling service appointments is an absolute idiot. Likely the latter because these MINIs arent cheap. Might as well by a Mercedes Benz with the price tag on a new MINI. I like my car even though it cost a small fortune to maintain. It is made by BMW after all. With that said, I will no longer bring my car here mainly for the for the lack of customer service. For the premium one pays to bring their car to the dealership for service, you would think you would get better customer service. My advice to the owners of this dealership is to stop wasting money on mailers to bring in business. And, learn to cultivate the relationships with your current customers.

Fantastic first visit to this dealership thanks to Jose. We stopped by do a test drive one afternoon to get a first-hand experience of a few used Minis that we were interested in. Jose took great care of us by providing helpful information and suggestions. He answered our questions and gave us time to test drive 3 different models. Jose was professional, welcoming, and a Mini enthusiast. If we happen to decide to purchase one, we definitely will ask Jose to help us.

Service department is excellent. They dont overcharge you. Normally the dealership is not the best place to go to buy tires but they were several hundred dollars less than anywhere else in town! That said, sales department is a huge disappointment. They will lowball your trade, tell you they dont negotiate on price, and when you tell them to pound sand, you start getting emails saying they *might* be able to increase your trade value. The sales manager will tell you how hot the used car market is, which is why the prices are firm BUT that same logic doesnt apply to trade values. I dont play games, they just lost a customer.

Everytime I go to this Mini service center I never leave feeling unhappy everyone I professional an courteous.

I have never had a negative experience at Passport Mini of Alexandria! The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I usually work with Justyne Cannata who is fabulous! When the time comes to upgrade to a newer Mini I will definitely go there to buy!

They fixed my friends car and Jim in Service is very knowledgeable. We are car fans so his knowledge level was fun and helpful. Jim is a nice guy, not a show off, a down to earth nice guy. Take your Mini in to Jim. You will be glad you did. If you have an older Mini, keep your oil topped off, if it gets noisey, it may be your timing chain. If you let it go and the chain lets go, it will take your engine out with it. A stitch in time... Call Jim in Service if you arent sure...

Highly professional service department. I always see Jairo for all my maintenance needs for he cares just a little more on my specifics requests. Prices are very reasonable.

What a nightmare. Kept waiting for 30 minutes after having made an appointment. No one came to check in. No apologies. I guess they don’t want to sell/buy. Surprising considering the current market. Never visiting and would recommend you avoid like the plague or like COVID.

Great experience in buying my second previously owned Mini. Even during these stressful times the staff and my sales rep Yves were very professional and helpful. I highly recommend Passport Mini of Alexandria.

Been going here for since they first opened in up (2009) for service and have bought 2 new Minis here. Service department is average, finance department is average, sales and management are aloof and unresponsive to issues after theyve taken your money.

Amazing car buying experience...YAY! I recently helped my godmother in her search for a low mileage used vehicle to replace her old faithful 2003 Z4. She is the hippest lady I know, and she needed a jaunty little convertible to match her swag! After research overload, she set her sights on a MINI. In comes José! José was AWESOME! Not only did he display tremendous patience with us, but he was super knowledgeable and passionate about the vehicles. He was very responsive and worked diligently to get us a great deal. We loved our experience there, and my godmother is now the proud owner of a fully loaded like-new 2016 black on black MINI convertible. Oh by the way...did I mention that he came in on his day off to close the deal and sat with her long after the sale to ensure her comfort with all the features of her new ride!
