I was so impressed by the service here. I only needed a tire patch but Jeremy took my car in minutes after I called. I was so worried that id be waiting hours. He was so friendly, accommodating and fixed my tire up in less than 15 minutes. Honestly, the best service Ive ever has at a service station. I will come back here if I ever need any other work done on my car!

Have been here before for brakes. Literally, nothing but positive to say about the timeliness and professionalism. Had my service light pop up so I contacted Jeremy. Due to my hectic work schedule he was able to quickly accommodate me without issue and turned out I only needed an oil change. Hands down the most honest service you’ll get out there. I love this place!! The price is super affordable when compared to other repair shops around and the manager is extremely knowledgeable. He is also willing to do WHATEVER it takes to help out. He has spoken with me late at night when I was stranded. He goes far above and beyond to help. Cant recommend this place highly enough!!!

We stopped in looking for an air freshener option after one of my children had an accident and the car had started to smell. They didn’t sell an aerosolized version at their store, but the gentleman at the counter was extremely accommodating. He went to his shop and grabbed a deodorizer that they use for their servicing and gave one to me along with proper instructions. He and his co-worker were incredibly nice, very quick-thinking, and resourceful. Great customer service!! The deodorizer worked wonderfully. Thank you so much for your help in a pinch!!

I finally got sick of servicing my vehicle at the local dishonest and overpriced dealer. I used my AAA membership to look for a local mechanic and boy am I glad I did. Jeremy really impressed me with the way he treats his customers and takes ownership of making things right.While there were a couple of issues with the oil change service, Jeremy actually came to my home to pick up the vehicle when I was concerned about driving it back to the shop — unsure of the oil level. He made everything right, even performed another major service at no cost to make up for inconvenience of the original oil change issues. He offered to send someone to clean the oil stain on my driveway. They confirmed the rear shocks were not leaking (said they looked like new) and brakes were still in good shape that the dealer said needed replacing.They provide a discount for AAA members. I was planning to pay for my own Uber/Lyft to get home and back to service station. I was pleasantly surprised that they even provide a Lyft ride to / from my home on them. If you are looking for honest mechanic, convenient location, a man that stands behind his work, fair pricing, and just an overall nice guy, I encourage you to give Jeremy and his team at Metro Motor/N. I used to take my car to a Metro Motor in Arlington (Pershing). The service there was reasonably priced and reliable. I mostly get maintenance work done. One time they even fixed a flat for free. I was surprised to find this Metro Motor when I move to Alexandria (Henry St). The service here is top notch. Quick, reliable, reasonably price., and great customer service.

The wonderful thing about Metro Motor is that they honestly explain the work needed and do not try to up sell you on anything beyond that. They even offered to pick us up to get our car. The hours listed stated the shop opens at 7am, which is sometimes true. This shop is connected to a gas station. The store manager was working and I asked about the service tech. He informed that sometimes he does sometimes he does not. The manager said he may be in by 8am but he wasnt sure. I asked if he could call to see what time the tech would be in and he said for what, he gets here when he gets here. He became extra nasty. So I left.

I went to Metro Motor this morning as a walk-in inspection customer.I was in and out in 25 minutes. The service was exceptional and the inspection quick. Jeremy and the staff at Metro Motor provided exceptional service. I highly recommend them and their services.

I was having issues with my battery needing to be jump started several times during the past few months and didnt know why since both the battery and alternator had been replaced. Metro Motors was able to pin point the issue that a couple of electric wires had been chewed on by rodents which caused a relay to over heat and pull power from the battery. They performed the necessary repairs and provided transportation several times (at no cost to me) to pick up my vehicle and to destinations due to it being still worked on for a grounding wire. They have always been professional and responded very quickly to any all questions and concerns. I have been a customer now since 2015 and am extremely satisfied and highly recommend.

Everyone is very professional! They go above and beyond to accommodate your schedule and help in any way possible. They provide honest recommendations and communicate well. I live a few blocks away and my car battery died and a staff member volunteered to walk over to my place and jump the battery! Exceptional service!!

Metro Motors honestly assesses and communicates what your vehicle needs and what can be safely postponed. The work is competitively priced and professionally performed. But perhaps the most lasting impression made is the stations culture, which says a lot about the owner and manager. Everyone on their team is genuinely customer experience focused.

I took my Jeep XJ to Metro Motor to have it inspected - Ken saved me a potentially dangerous situation and had my Jeep repaired and back on the road in no time. I went to him after getting stiffed by another local establishment not far away in Del Ray and was very happy by Kens speed and competence. Little did I know that my path would cross with Metro Motor again after I got caught in a flash flood and hydrolocked my engine. I took the Jeep back to Ken and the staff took care to dry out my Jeep and look it over, since at this point I decided that I needed to upgrade and fix old stock components. Ken and I had some excellent, very frank talks about what could or could not be done and the costs associated. Every estimate I have ever got from Ken have almost always been dead on the actual price, and where it was not, it was very apparent and totally reasonable why the price had to change - in my case, 30 year-old components.I like to think the Jeep lived with the Ken for the next few weeks as he and his team got to work taking her apart and rebuilding her. Orlando worked magic on my suspension, successfully replacing the Jeeps entire suspension and forward brake lines. Before that Orlando mounted a heavy off-road bumper and winch that Ken helped me order and it looks gorgeous! In addition to the new suspension, bumper, and winch, they also installed all-terrain tires I ordered and a number of other smaller components along the way. I am admittedly not the most educated when it comes to the mechanics of cars, but at no point did Ken, David, Orlando, or anybody else at Metro Motor talk down to me or dismiss my questions. I always received an answer I understood and information that I could use, no matter who I was interacting with.I am incredibly grateful to Orlando, Ken, David, and everyone else at Metro Motor for making this a delight! I cannot wait to take the old girl on the trail and really put her through her paces. I will absolutely be back for anything I need for the car or any of the off-road nonsense people like me put on their Jeeps.The bottom line: This is a quality, trustworthy shop staffed by a team who hold themselves accountable to you and your business.Update 2020:You need to go to Metro Motor if you need work done on your car - Jeremy and his team will earn your trust and loyalty. I had the same Jeep XJ in for a new gas tank, added a skid plate, and even swapped out the rear differential - and they were awesome! Quick and easy state emission inspection

I live in Columbus OH and my millennial aged daughter, lives in Alexandria. My daughter is a beautiful, intelligent young lady, but not especially good at maintaining her car. Luckily for me, she found Metro Motor and Service Manager, Ken Bond, in Alexandria. Ken has daughters himself, and has assured me, that he would take care of my daughters car, like it was his own daughters. And, he has. I know, that when my girl takes her car to Metro Motor, shes going to get great service, from expert technicians, at a good honest price. I highly recommend Ken Bond and Metro Motor, to anyone in the area, in need of auto repair or maintenance.

I needed my tire with a nail in it fixed pretty quickly before a long road trip. It was my first time at the shop since covid and they took all the right precautions. I ended up needing 2 tires bc of a nail in another one and they were upfront and helpful and switched them out quickly.

Ken was extremely helpful and honest. My car wouldn’t start and needed a new battery. Ken told me that it was likely still under warranty and that I should check with the dealer. Sure enough, it was still under warranty. Ken’s honesty and helpfulness was so appreciated. I will definitely be back for service and repairs in the future.

The servicemen at this station are absolutely amazing. They are helpful in explaining the work that needs to be completed, and always friendly. Super responsive on the phone, and everything is completed in a timely manner. They stand by their work, and are happy to follow up if anything isn’t perfect after the repairs. Thanks again guys!

Were only been going here for about a year, Metro Motors has quickly become our go-to mechanic for both cars. This shop has been honest and fair. The staff are friendly and have gone out of their way more than once to help us diagnose some really challenging problems. Hours are very convenient for pickup after the garage closes. Highly recommended.

From Pittsburgh area and was heading to DC when my 1997 Buick began acting up when going up the 5% grade mountains. It was bogging and even shut down on me while driving. Being two females afraid to travel back to Pittsburgh with car problems, we stopped at Metro Motor and I am so glad we did. These guys did an awesome job and there was no price gouging. Orlando even customized the part because my car is so old and to order it would have taken a week! Thanks to all the guys who work at Metro Motor that day who helped us make it back home safely with no issues!

Since they took over the Liberty station here the prices have gone up, but the place is cleaner and better lit when theyre open.
