He wouldn’t close the policy .... what happened was that I changed my policy after 4 years I was dropping my insurance company due to signing up for one which had a better offer with my job .... I as a consumer would think oh just call the insurance company well so I did the insurance company said call your agency who signed you up (who I never knew signed me up it was just a group with my loan officer) so I call him the guy was like ok so when do you want to cancel I said February ok your gonna get a prorated refund in the mail so I wait 2 months go by nothing happened so I call him to ask he says to call the insurance company so then I call the insurance company to let them know I didn’t get my refund ... the insurance company is like ok well we issued a check over a month ago you need to call the agency to tell them to do a “stop pay” on the check .. I call the guy and he said hey we don’t do anything you need to do that you need to ask the company (super rude and dismissive) .... finally after being on hold and playing tag I told the insurance company hey it’s my 3rd time calling you and I’m just playing tag can we do a 3 way conference call where you can tell him that cause this guy is acting stupid like he’s never heard that and that there’s nothing he can do apparently he’s not understanding my terminology .... when shopping for insurance just call the insurance company themselves as my recommendation
