Found everything I needed and the staff were very friendly and helpful helping me pick out exactly what I needed, thank you!

False advertising and not helpful at all!!! They do not make anything right that they do wrong. They sold me a balloon under an idea that it would be one color and it wasn’t. But yet they did not make it right and made me pay again for a second balloon that still isn’t the right color. Save yourself some grief and just go to Party City!

I do not normally make a habit of leaving bad reviews but I was absolutely stunned by the “managers” response to me explaining how my balloons for a graduation party were on the floor before the party even started. She talked over me in explaining they ALWAYS ask if the party is that day or within 12 hours of picking up balloons... which she did not ask. Why would I pay for something I know will be an embarrassment? Several people at the event stated they had the same situation with this store.I think people in decision making roles in any public place should be taught how to talk to customers and not talk over them.. no one wins!! You have now lost a lifelong customer.... I am sure you will lose no sleep but word of mouth is the best or worst form of advertisement and unless things in this store change you will have no customer base.

For parties definitely a great place to grab supplies of all sorts. For costumes, Id say limited choices. Great staff!

Great store to get party stuff but if you want just a gift bag they dont have a great selection. There were only plane bags or 3 different b-day bags which isnt a very big choice.

Ive shopped this location for several years, for both personal and church-related events. Best selection of party supplies and Halloween costumes in Maryville! The staff are always friendly and helpful in finding what I need, whether its for a baby or wedding shower or vacation bible school. Their balloon selection is also fantastic!

So today me and my wife were throwing a birthday party for a 1 year old daughter and we were supposed to pick up our balloons yesterday. Well we forgot to pick up the balloons and nobody from Party Corner called us left a message or anything trying to get a hold of us to let us know to come get them or we would have. My wife calls them today to see if we could get our balloons and they had already popped them and got rid of them, well my wife asked to pick up the balloons today or two at least compensate for what we were supposed to pick up. The manager refused to compensate for the ones that we are supposed to pick up and we refused to give us a refund on the balloons that we were supposed to get because their helium was too expensive. Now I understand that helium is expensive but thats no way to treat a customer I will not be returning to this place and I will take my business elsewhere and I will be getting in contact with the owner of this company and we will have a discussion about this!

Never got a receipt and I tried to take the stuff back and they wouldn’t take it.

Predatory return/exchange processes and no ability to exchange for store credit or a gift card. I will never set foot in here again.Reply to owner: I bought a halloween costume and returned it less than 24 hours later (since it was electronic). The two associates who sold it to us said we could return OR exchange within 24 hours. When I returned it, I was first told that I couldnt return or exchange it. Then I was told that it was exchange-only, but not for store credit or a gift card. So I had to spend $60 on things I didnt need to avoid losing money, even though we were very clearly told otherwise the day before. That would be my definition of predatory - lying to a customer and then strong-arming them into spending money on things they dont need - not even providing the chance for store credit!

I purchased a plastic bowl for $5.99, but realized there was a large crack in it. I attempted to exchange it the next day and had my receipt but was not allowed to. The employee very rudely told me that open containers werent eligible for returns or exchanges.

Ive known the owners for almost 2 decades, but the staff is what really shines. Bright and smiling welcome, everytime you enter. Clean and organized appearance with a lot of great product you cant find anywhere else in Blount county.

The costume selection was ok but the sales person ensured me that it was the right size and when I got it home it was much to large and when I tried to exchange they refused I guess $40 down the whole Ill never shop here again

Horrible customer service. The girl with dark hair (unsure of her name) is very unprofessional and rude. She is loud and always ignoring customers. I purchased a large amount of balloons and party supplies from this store and they messed up my balloon order the day of the birthday party. Their response regarding the issue was asinine. I will never use this store again.

I went into a store last night. After a disagreement with the “manager” I asked she follow through on her threat and call the police. Here is my story.I went into Party Corner yesterday in Maryville. I spent $88. I went to the store for a specific costume. I chose the number from the wall, my costume was retrieved and I paid for it.I went home to prepare for Halloween festivities and realized I was given a costume that was much too small.I returned to the store with my receipt for an exchange. The costume I had requested wasn’t in stock in my size. I requested to return my item. I was told ok, wait for “Jocelyn”. Jocelyn informed me my size wasn’t available and returning my item wasn’t an option but I could exchange for another costume. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was the manager and the next highest level of management was the owner. I responded that I’d wait for her to make the call. Jocelyn stated she wasn’t “calling him for THIS” and continued that the return policy was stated on my receipt. The receipt I received, AFTER the transaction was completed. At no time during my visit was I told that my item couldn’t be returned. There were no signs posted and the ‘mat’ at the register with the policy on it was covered by another notice (which I pointed out). I told her I’d wait for her to call the owner. She said “You can wait until 9pm and then I’m calling the police.”She continually stated the policy was on the receipt to which I asked “Did I get this receipt before or after the transaction was completed?” she continued to talk and I said “yes or no? I got this after I purchased the item?” She did not like my question and threatened to call the police. I told her I’d return Saturday and she said she’d tell me the same thing then and call the police.I left the store. Thought about it and realized that essentially, I was being stolen from as I have given my money and got the wrong item. I returned to the store and asked Jocelyn to phone the police because I felt I was being treated unfairly.She did. I waited. In the meantime, Jocelyn and her employees made jokes and comments about the situation in my presence.An officer arrived and heard both of our stories. The officer stated that she completely agreed with me and that the onus was on the store and the employees to provide the correct item that I paid for.However, since it wasn’t a criminal matter she did not have jurisdiction. She did recommend I file a civil suit against the company.I did not have the opportunity to personally select my merchandise from a shelf. I was handed an item, after making my request, by a store employee, and was given the wrong item.I simply asked to speak to a senior level of management and she threatened to call the police because I said I’d wait while she phoned him.This, in my opinion, is robbery.Be warned Maryville families. Take your business elsewhere as Party Corner doesn’t want it.#maryvilletn #partycorner #fleecingamerica

Theyre disrespectful and rude. They over charge and the customer is never right here. Ive been about 6 times and each time was bad. I just wanted to give a small business a chance. Party City is worth the Extra 15min drive.

I bought a Spongebob balloon for $9.99 and thought it looked a bit under inflated. I went shopping afterwards at Wal-mart and saw the same balloon, but correctly inflated for only $6.00. The arms and legs of the mylar balloon were supposed to be blown up, but ours never was. I called the next morning and they agreed to fix the balloon. Well, by the time my husband got it back home, it had already lost ALL of the extra air and was not inflated in his arms or legs....again. I called and explained the problem. They never apologized for my troubles....even once. Basically, they said that I can waste my time and gas going there for a THIRD time to get them to try and inflate my balloon again. However, I have decided to forget about it because doing so would make us late to his party and because it didnt work the first two times, I dont have much faith that it would this time. My son wanted a Spongebob balloon for his birthday more than anything and this store managed to ruin it for him. They say that the balloon is guaranteed to last for 5 days, but with unprofessional staff under inflating them, that is a joke. Dont waste your money. I really like to support LOCAL small business, but this one is the exception. I wouldnt have even minded being over charged for the balloon, but I do mind not having it done right and horrible customer service.
