Neil was very knowledgeable and patient over the 3 visits we made to try different pianos over a range of prices. PianoWerkes also loaned us a floor template to see what piano sizes would fit in our space which was very helpful. We purchased a used Estonia grand piano in excellent condition at a price that we were happy with. Delivery went off without a hitch. Their tuner, Doug Parsons, did a nice job voicing the piano and fixed a squeaky pedal issue. He returned for the follow-up tuning and we have impressed with his professionalism.

What can I say? This place is the real deal. I have been coming into the store for the past several years, each time I visited the area. Like a kid in a candy shop! Not once did I face any pressure to buy, as it was a long-term dream that needed to be prepared for. When I finally did purchase my Yamaha baby grand at a great discount, I was treated the same as if I was spending six figures on a concert piano. Delivery was prompt, communication was excellent, and the joy of playing this instrument in my home after so many years of waiting cannot be overstated. Neal and Anthony, thank you so very much for your patience and all the help over the years. When its time to upgrade, that trade-up policy will be a huge help, and I know I will be back at PianoWerkes!

I had a great experience buying an upright piano as a rusty adult amateur player. Neal and Anthony very patiently showed me the piano I thought I wanted along with several other pianos that I didnt even realize could be in my price range. I couldnt be happier with my purchase, a silent Yamaha b3 upright. They were also able to give me a recommendation on a teacher in my area, and Ive been so happy with my music journey ever since.My only problem is now that Ive made some progress with my playing, Im dreaming of the day I can afford to trade up to an even nicer piano!

We had a lovely experience at PianoWerkes. We decided to go in last minute and ended up taking our children with us. The owners were wonderful and kind even as our kids were wanting to touch every piano. They let us take all the time we needed. Did not rush us or pressure us and allowed us to look at and play a variety of pianos that could fit our needs. We just had our piano delivered today and the delivery team was awesome. They had the piano set up and the old piano taken away in 20 minutes. We will highly recommend them to our family and friends.

Neal and Anthony are great, knowledgeable people with a passion for what they do.My wife wanted to learn piano (secretly I did too) and we went down to their wonderland of pianos and fell in love with one.Having never had a knowledge of what we were looking for Neil walked us through the garden of pianos. All we had to do was let our ears guide us to something that sounded just right.Neal played and played. We had the whole shop to ourselves due to the unique way they schedule each customer and it was a delight.We are extremely pleased with our selection from a wide variety of brands, models, prices and styles they offered. I just had my Kawai baby grand piano (purchased at PianoWerkes) tuned a few days ago by PianoWerkes’ own Douglas Parsons. He is a consummate tuning technician who went above and beyond in customer service. Noticing the piano was lacking clear acrylic casters for the piano legs, he called PianoWerkes and they had some and offered them for free. Douglas said he would go get them in Albuquerque and deliver them to our home in Santa Fe! My experience with PianoWerkes was outstanding!!

Though we live hours away from Albuquerque, my kids are progressing from beginners to intermediate pianists, and needed a more reliable piano with better action than the antique theyd been playing. Anthony and Neil at PianoWerkes were a terrific help for us. They responded instantly to my email and spend nearly an hour on FaceTime with us, describing and demonstrating pianos in our price range, then repeated the whole process with us in person the next day. Neil was complimentary of my sons playing, and was unbelievably patient with me as I asked him to hop between instruments playing the same portions of pieces, so we could get a clear sense of each pianos tone. Prices were very much in keeping with other stores nationally that I had researched on the web. Delivery fees were somewhat higher than competitors, but not objectionably so, and I would expect these to vary significantly among movers, due to our great distance from Albquerque. When I told them what I wanted, they explained the features and benefits of the various Yamaha Clavinova CLP models, even down to the color choices. They answered all my questions and gave me the confidence to order sight unseen. When the piano arrived at the store, it was delivered the next working day. The delivery was prompt and efficient and I was playing and so enjoying my new piano within a half an hour. So very satisfied with the piano and Piano Werks staff. Kudos to Piano Werks. About eight days ago I was considering casually, but not actively looking, to upgrade my digital piano. I wrote to PianoWerkes and let them know of what might lead me to upgrade the piano. Neal contacted me a day later with a detailed offer, setting out price and other terms, including logistics of doing the transaction from 65 miles away. A week later I have the new piano, like it very much, and the transaction was just about perfect. This was really, really nice work on the part of PianoWerkes, including A&A Piano, the movers they used.

Awesome place and great people

I was rudely asked am I just going to play or am I going to buy a piano today. I kindly asked the store associate that I was looking around and that I wanted to play the piano to get a feel for the piano and decide whether the tone fit my style of playing. I was checking out the Clavinova CVP 705 grand piano and the P22 yamaha upright accoustic. I thought the customer service was very poor. With what little I played on the digital piano and on the accoustic piano, I thought they were pretty good pianos for the price and I trust yamaha, it is a great piano. However, because of the poor customer service and the pushiness I will purchase the piano somewhere else and maybe get a better deal.
