He is an excellent technician. I send all my students to 88 keys so they can purchase quality instruments at a reasonable price. Best piano shop in NM!

We live hours from Albuquerque, so when my family drives in to make any sort of major purchase, were often apprehensive about what could go wrong, or whether well have made the trip for nothing, The experience can be stressful. Alexander at 88 Keys Piano Warehouse showed up a half hour before my familys scheduled appointment. He was knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, and complimentary of my kids playing. The piano we had come to see was absolutely as-advertised, and had been beautifully maintained. Never once did Alexander make any objection to our thorough inspection, or pressure us to consider a more expensive instrument. I would highly recommend 88 Keys Piano Warehouse to anyone shopping for a piano near Albuquerque.

Alex was both incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, as well as making sure that every issue I had was handled. Without his help and the rest of the staff, my 118 year old piano wouldnt be what it is now. My new go to for all things piano related in the future!

Their drivers are dangerous. Tail gated me going 70 MPH on US550 when I couldnt move over because of traffic. Then when I called their office the guy was rude and wanted to lecture me. I can only imagine what kind of business they run. Most of these reviews on here are fake. This is not a good company.

I reached out to Alex about the possibility of restoring my mothers piano. The piano has been in the family since my grandparents purchased it for my mom, aunts and uncle to learn how to play the piano. Alex came out and did a visual inspection of the piano to ensure that it was actually worth restoring. During this visit, I learned that the piano was 112 years old. He invited me down to his shop for tour and explained the restoration process and what would need to be restored on my piano. During the restoration, I was given updates and photos of the progress and invited to stop by the shop anytime to see the progress first hand. Guy got upset with me because I asked him if he had any 4-ft baby grands in very often made him upset for some reason you would be better off going to piano works

Great place to go and try out pianos. They are very helpful and very patient. They have great prices and a very friendly staff. Highly recommend. Its hidden behind a few buildings but dont let that fool you. Inside is inviting and a great environment.

The owner hired a great salesman/manager. I cant remember his name, but he showed us around the shop, tried to teach my 5 year a simple song, and knew the background on every piano in the store. He made our shopping experience so much fun. And yes, we did buy a restored, used piano from the. We love it!

I had been referred to 88 Keys for one of the best piano tuners in the business by a close friend. The gentleman who answered said he would be glad to help until I told him the age of my piano. I have a very antique 9 Concert Grand piano which is in excellent condition and played daily. Without any explanation he said he would have to decline assisting me due to the age of my piano. I asked him to explain to me why he could help but he would not give me an answer, instead he made me feel like my piano was not worth the time or money. My piano had been appraised a few years back and I assure you, it is a beautiful and quite valuable instrument. It is unfortunate the tuner could not communicate to me why he felt otherwise. Even old things deserve to be cared for.

Considering the purchase of a new piano this is the place to go. They have some beautiful restored pianos. And they will give you a tour of their workshop.

Ive known Alexander and Martin for years, and now theyve opened a showroom for used pianos next to their shop. Alexander was the piano rebuilder for the local Steinway dealer, when they were here, and has completely rebuilt many fine instruments, including nine-foot concert grands.When you search online for used pianos, you never know for sure what youll find, and often theyre a century old with rodent infestations. These guys pick the best used pianos, clean them thoroughly, and repair and adjust them so they play beautifully. Im excited to be able to refer my customers to a reliable source. The neatness of their shop speaks for itself!
