I was so impressed with the entire process and actually being able to find someone local that has such a detailed and streamlined process for custom ring design.I brought in family rings to have combined into one engagement ring and John created an amazing experience.I got to see what the ring was going to look like with multiple 3D images and had multiple things changed to get exactly what i wanted. I could NOT be happier with the way it turned out.The process took some time but it is to be expected when they are making something from scratch.My mother in law is now going to have a few pendants made as well and I will be returning for our wedding bands.

John inspected the rings and told me that both rings were gold. He did not have to do that, but honesty resides in John.I had a partial ring design in my mind, but not much more than a partial design. John Thomas Jewelry sat with me until I was satisfied with the design. Satisfaction, or desire, has a way of changing. As time quickly passed, I asked for some major changes and then I asked for some minute changes. John worked with me. He understood my desires and he submitted three dimensional representations, to me, of all changes. The final design of my ring was exactly as I had requested. The ring is absolutely beautiful and the purpose of the ring is instantly apparent to anyone seeing it. I have no regrets and I highly recommend giving John Thomas Jewelry an opportunity to help you design that once in a lifetime special piece, or set of jewelry. The price of my ring? Im late with my review (as I am with most things) but I just had to say that Michael from John Thomas was critical in helping me accomplish my dream. I will preface this by saying I am in no way a jeweler but I really wanted to make the engagement ring that I would be proposing with. I researched and researched, and finally took the dive and made it. Now the most critical part was finding a diamond and getting set in the ring. I couldnt find a reliable source for this until a friend highly recommended I talk to Michael at John Thomas. When I did reach out, it was a sigh of relief knowing I found the final piece to this puzzle. Right away they were so helpful and so on board for my unusual request. Even with my practice ring looking like a disaster, they were so nice, and provided so much info to help correct my issues. Then we started the process of finding a stone. I was limited by the size of the setting I had, but Michael had no shortage of options for me. He not only showed me so many diamonds but also taught me what to look for and how to look for it. I was being so picky and Michael never once broke his professionalism during this process. Once we found the stone, I had he official ring finished, they took it in and made my dreams come true. I did not make it easy on their jeweler (as I said Im no professional) but they were able to make it work and overcome all the hurdles with no hesitation. To add on top of all this, I had a very short deadline (see note about always being late) and they STILL managed to make it happen. The ring came out better than I could have ever imagined! I am still so amazed at what they were able to do and I will forever be indebted to them for helping me complete this project. My now Fiancé said yes and she absolutely loves the ring. I have never seen a sales person care about me and my life the way John does. I went to John because he could make a custom ring for me cheaper than anyone else. But the more I talked to him, the more I realized he cared about me and my engagement. A lot of craziness went down as the ring was cast, and I was on a tight deadline for when I was going to propose as I was flying home to do it, but John personally stayed until 9pm one night to make sure my ring was done in time. He also worked hard with the CAD designer to make sure the design was just how I wanted it. After that experience I would tell anyone to go to John for an engagement ring as he is by far the best dealer in town.

I bought rings from a different jewelry store and unfortunately they were sized wrong. We had multiple issues with prongs, even lost a diamond! John Thomas was amazing and so patient with me and all the fixes I needed. They even fixed my grandmas ring for me and it brought tears to my eyes because it was more beautiful than I could have asked for. I won’t buy jewelry from anyone else. They are all so kind which makes the overall experience even better!

I cannot rate John Thomas Jewelers high enough! We were directed to these guys even though we were far away in Las Cruces because they are that good. We worked with John over email and were not disappointed. I felt strange putting together my engagement ring over email but John was personable and incredibly easy to work with. Was never condescending or dismissive which had happened to me elsewhere. Everyone who works there is kind, welcoming, and exudes a genuine love for what they do. What I found exceptional was the attention to personal detail regarding my custom order. Every step of the way, from planning, to choosing the band, to setting the diamonds, Christine was engaged and present with me. She listened and even took her time to explain the art and science of diamonds following all of my nerdy questions! She was so personable and genuinely cared about my story and goal for my ring. I came in a bit nervous and overwhelmed, but I left feeling relaxed and confident with my purchase. Then, when I came to pick up my ring, I was blown away by the craftsmanship. I mean, my diamonds were nothing special, but my word! They were just brilliant and my design was executed better than I could have imagined!!! Everyone was just so warm and shared my moment, it felt like a true mom and pop experience, which is SO RARE these days. I mostly worked with Christine, and I can not recommend her enough. She shares a true love for stones, not just diamonds, and sees the art. Also, I felt she was so mindful of my budget. Never pressured me to spend money on unnecessary additions and never made me feel less than customers buying higher value items. Speaking of which, they have an incredible, gorgeous selection for every budget and diamond type. They can get busy, though I personally never experienced a significant wait, however they have a small waiting area with beverages and snacks, which is quite nice! Keep in mind they give every customer their undivided, unrushed attention, which is WORTH any wait you could experience. I hope whoever reads this considers John Thomas. I started off by sending a pic of my ring by text to confirm whether or not JT would be able to resize my “damaged” ring. I received a reply the same day and was able to schedule an appointment the same week. They informed me of certain risks but all in all had the ring resized and shaped perfectly in a week.
