Not sure about the other barbers that work there but the barber who gave me a haircut was Tom, he literally cut my hair in 30mins without looking over it. After he was done he tells me “not bad for a short guy” ha!! Not sure why he said that lol. I get why he said “not bad” because my haircut was terrible!!! I asked for a mid fade and there was no fade at all, the top sides weren’t blended and I DIDN’T even get offered a line up. I’m glad I didn’t because he already messed up my haircut. I could’ve asked him to fix it but why when it already showed he couldn’t cut, I didn’t want him to mess up any worse. Guy is also an anti-mask person so that made it even worse. Told me I could take off my mask and I asked him “are you vaccinated” because if he was I would taken it off but says “no, does don’t even work”. Like dude I didn’t even ask for your opinion. He went on about it saying he caught it before and that it’s nothing. I literally had to change the topic and I didn’t even want to talk to the dude after that. . A waste of money on a haircut AND service

Horrible service I wonder how they stay in business. If your in the area go down the street to NM BARBERZ 3rd time there and put Marz barber Barber shop to shame. Could of got a better cut and service at sports clips. I would be embarrassed to say I owned it. Other reviews must be friends because its the second time. First time they did not honor the advertised time of operation even when I was 30min before they say they close l, then the second time I got a haircut and wish I would of got turned away. It sucks to see a locally owned business embarrass the city.

So good, the wait isnt bad and use the app for no wait at all. The cut was great and Rick did exactly what we were looking for. Well be back.

I moved to Albuquerque not too long ago from Arizona and since I was over there I wouldn’t ever get the cut I wanted but today I went here to Marz barbershop and the barber really got down left my cut looking good I will definitely be coming back to there shop 💯.

Very friendly and nice environment, but about hair cut I didn’t get what I asked, I went outside to my car then I noticed there was some areas not cut then I went back inside he fixed with out covering me so I got hair all over my clothes I went back to my car and it was faded uneven from my right side of my left I figure out why I have to go get a hair cut somewhere else and pay more for a poor service?

Best barbers Ive ever been to. I get my hair cut fairly often and feel like family every time I go in. Im always asked how Ive been and whats new in my life every time I go in, making me feel right at home. The owners, Ricky and Chris are some of the nicest guys Ive ever met! For a few years I had been bouncing around from place to place trying to find a good barber until they opened their first shop in Rio Rancho and after my first cut, I knew I had found a great couple of barbers I could go to every time. They listen to what you, the client wants and deliver every time. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

They over charge they do bare minimum all the barbers cut using a comb in there hand for everything no skill worst taper I ever got. He used a comb the entire taper wasn’t blended at all. More of a Supercuts barbershop

I went in expecting a decent haircut.He left a mop on top I had to go in a second time. Ricky Lee did not like this. I was threatened and treated like an unliked inlaw. While he was making fun of the people passing by and doing a lame one man show he got to asking what kind of cut Id like. I told him high and tight. He did not give ant notice. I told him again, he became insolent. He continued to insult me while touching me. I told him I had allergies the first time I saw him. I told him again. I have severe allergies, which were not helped at all by the fragrances hanging heavy in the air. The seats were cheap painted benches with no backs. One chair with a back. I say this now to portray how uncomfortable the place was to begin with. So I told Ricky K about the allergies again, and that I would not appreciate any after shave that he puts on without asking. At this point he told me something I was VERY AWARE of. You should go to a stylist. WOW! So as I left I mentioned that he should be as happy to fix a bad haircut as he is to accept tips. Ricky lee decide to continue his show. Said I dont do extra for a dollar. (I gave him $5).I will NEVER EVER go there again. I do not recommend this place for anyone. It is a shame I was looking forward to the convenience. Looks like Metro Barbers at Coronado have my bussiness again.

I’ve been going to Marz for a minute now! One thing I find amazing about the ownership and also the environment is that it feels like home! I had been in the shop while a customer had gotten very upset, complained about a few things and even proceeded to call ricky lee the owner who was fixing his hair a derogatory name in front of kids and customers! Jerry proceeded to walk out and leave the bitter taste in the shop. But not only did Rick keep his cool, but he moved on from it like nothing happened! That’s TOP NOTCH OWNERSHIP IF IVE EVER SEEN IT! You need a cut? Or a place to get away? Marz is the place for the kids and adults! Amazing shop!

Asked for a mid-fade, Tom the barber pushed it and made it a high-fade. Asked for a inch off the top when my hair was about 4 inches long and now is less than a inch long. As if he motives himself when cutting hair. Overall, he messed up bad but he is a very friendly person. Would not want to go back.
