If youre coming for a haircut. Schedule an appointment!!! Youll wait at least 4 hours before your in a chair if youre just a walk in. The owner only cuts friends and family it seems. If he cared about his business he would probably try to take care of people sitting in his waiting area. Instead he thinks hes above waiting on customers. He would rather jump in his sports car and leave the barbers he has on staff to fend for themselves. I think its time to find somewhere were the barbers and the owner value their customers!!!!

Best place in Albuquerque I will be there every Saturday final found a good haircut place I am 36 I feel like Im 19 after this haircut thanks to illest cuts Im going out tonight.

Called for a walk-in, said it would be an hour. Waited 2 hours and never got called up. Never gave a heads up of whether or not the people who came in after me had an appointment. They still had 1 other person who was ahead of me and he was waiting for much longer. Don’t recommend based on poor customer service.

First of all update your hours. I called in prior to coming in and asked if ya’ll were taking walk ins. who ever answered said yes & then I asked if they can take my kid they also said yes. I told them okay I’m on the way and I arrived 5 minutes later when I walked in they said they weren’t taking walk ins anymore. 😂 like I didn’t just talk to someone 5 minutes ago.

Dk is one of the best barbers in ABQ. He has surrounded himself with some amazing barbers. You wont be disappointed

Do not walk in they will tell you they can see you but will proceed to see everyone else that has an appointment. You will be waiting for hours without someone even addressing you about a wait and you could very possibly sit there for hours and not receive a haircut. Make an appointment even if its a two weeks wait, I repeat do not walk in. Also waited the 4 hours just to see homie texting while giving a hair cut so we just walked out. I get everyone gets busy but thats just unprofessional in my opinion.

Waited almost 2 hours not one of those young boys ever acknowledged us, and we signed in which I think they have there for fun!!Extremely Rude Horrible Customer Service!!Let’s not mention that we are in the middle of a Pandemic and not one of them had a mask or required anyone to wear one.... I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!We ended up walking out..

I’ve been getting my haircut from Daniel at Illest Cuts barbershop and he never fails to amaze me. Daniel by far gives the best quality haircuts in town for a fair price, everyone always tells me how fresh and smooth I look thanks to Daniel.The environment in the barbershop is very chill and fun with a lot of laughter and excitement. Everyone there is nice and respectful. They play clean versions of music to keep it family friendly.I will always get my haircut from Daniel at Illest Cuts and I recommend anyone reading this to go to him for the freshest quality haircuts in town!!

I feel like my Barber Joaquin took his time to make me look good. He made sure along every step of the way that what he was doing was what I wanted. Id definitely recommend!

Everyone is super friendly. Jay does my babes hair and he does amazing designs. Walk in come in and someone is always on it. While others take appointments only. It has a chill atmosphere, plenty of room to relax, TV to watch. I would feel comfortable bringing my teen daughters with us. Ive been there when kids have been in the shop. They change the channel to an appropriate channel and watch what they say.

The barber on the first chair to the right is awesome!!! I took my son for a cut today, he got us in and out literally within 20 minutes and he did an awesome job...

This review is fo the barber who sits third on the left (as you walk in) , 5’4, overweight and wears glasses. That guy is an incompetent person who literally managed to cut my skin while giving me a haircut, on purpose. He was not happy that I told him to cut my hair with scissors instead of a shaver. He was literally rushing to finish my haircut to the point where it seemed a little reckless, and lo and behold, he managed to cut my skin. I cannot say much about the other barbers here but seriously that guy should not be allowed to cut hair. Won’t be coming back!

My son has been coming here since he was 8 months old. We now consider this place home and my son won’t let anyone but dk touch his hair . I highly recommend dk and Jason for any hair cut .

Ive been getting cuts here for almost two years now! My favorite barbershop Ive ever found. My barber knows how to hook it up with the cut. They take walk ins but some barbers only cut by appointment. Definitely would recommend!

Although they offer discounted childrens haircuts, this is no place to take your kids. Barbers are rude, speak foul language, and listen to music with foul language and sex-themed. Ive taken my son here a handful of times, and each time theyve been rude to us and dont listen when my son is in discomfort. I thought I just got somebody on a bad day and went back and tried again, each time leaving dissatisfied with our experience. Although the haircuts always came out clean, we wont be returning again.

This one barber left my neck all scratched up had a rash for about a week and then he got hurt when I didnt tip and asked for my change. The nerve this guy had, if theres anything that makes me mad is to have a dirty blade on my neck.. Id like to see this guy at a bar someday , dude with a long beard..

Customer service was horrible. Called ahead of time and still waited to long. Ended up leaving before I even got a cut.
