Ive been to a couple of barbershops here in Albuquerque. And theres only a couple of places that can actually cut my type of hair and do it well. Fade Station has set the standard, and I base my opinions of other shops here in Albuquerque off of how well they can measure up to Fade Station. Theyve gotten pretty busy lately, so be sure to show up on time for your appointment. They have a great crew and a welcoming environment.

Always come here for my cut. Great employees. Sometimes crowded and they cant get you in so if possible try to book a appointment. They also take walk ins but there will be a wait, but very much worth it!

They were open had full seats though. The guy said hed check if they had time in the afternoon. The way he said it was like they really werent even interested in getting anymore customers. His exact words were, i mean... I could check to see if we can fit you in this afternoon if you want? The look on his face said i doubt it. I asked as i walked in if they did appointments and he didnt direct me how to do that or set one up for me so i left because these guys arent the only shop on Albuquerque and theyre too expensive to be so uncaring and complicated for a customer. I got hooked up at another shop that set an appointment for me.

Took my grandson for a haircut, they apologized for the wait. Had sanitizers for everyone and checked temperature. They did a great job on his hair.

The service was good. The wait was a bit long, but thats how it is with most barber places. The barber did a good job with my sons hair. They were nice, friendly. The price is good, I didnt see anything outrageous that would prevent me from making a purchase there in the near future. Only thing, they close a bit early, otherwise, no problems with this establishment. I recommend this place. A clean atmosphere.

Today I went in 6/13/19 I’m happy with my sons haircut (soon to be 1yr) Albert was so patient and kind and with such a positive attitude he made me feel comfortable despite my son being a little impatient a few times. I like how he starts a conversation while cutting to make me feel more comfortable with him and it’s not awkward throughout the haircut. I feel that it is very important to make your customers feel comfortable and with enough energy to make me want to bring my son back to cut his hair with him.I also brought my brother in at the same time (he’s 11yrs old) and normally he is very sensitive and ticklish it’s almost impossible to cut his hair just because of the hard times he gives barbers but Albert was so good my brother did not flinch not once and I’m overall very happy with our experience here at fade station.

This is such a chill place to get a great cut. Everyone there has their clients walking out looking fresh and confident! Though the primary clientele seems to be teenage boys and men, you will also see them taking great care of women and children as well. They are talented professionals that do a great job on all types of hair textures and lengths, but just like their name suggests, their fades are some of the best in town. Fair warning: they are cash only which does make it a little less convenient but they are worth the hassle of hunting down that atm.

My husband took my two kiddos for haircuts at the Fade Shop yesterday. They had an amazing experience! The boys loved Mateo and Brian and they did an awesome job on the cuts. They even cut designs in the boys heads and they look so cool!My younger son is autistic and he was able to sit still for the entire cut which is amazing. He was comfortable and relaxed so he was able to handle sitting still for a long period of time. We will be back for sure!!!

My boyfriend frequently visits this location for regular hair and beard care. All the barbers are fun, professional, and highly skilled. They turn haircutting into an art and you will not be disappointed. The prices are more reasonable than places like Sports Clips and you receive much better care. They do cuts for men, kids, and Ive even seen short-haired women in there, as well! Their beard line ups are top notch and clean. Used to be a loyal customer of the fade station, even after the barber that usually cut my hair went on his own. Now when walk in Im greeted with do you have an appointment? Place is more like a salon than a barber shop. Lost my business.

Moved here 3 years ago and only bring my son here. I dont care who cuts his hair it always looks good. They are all patient with him and hype him up at times. Even got my boyfriend to trade in his barber for them!

I moved here and was looking for a place simular to my barber in San Diego. However I heard good things about the fade station. Dont be put off by the sometimes loud music, or the jokes between the crew. These guys are serious about good hair cuts. You know that mix of quick and making it right? These guys got it. A year later not a bad cut. And they will rise to the challenge if you have kids (even babies) to get the right cut.Also, side note. For the military guys in town. They always got me within standards for my drills weekends without looking like I stepped out of the exchange.

I took my two boys there today 9, 4 years old. They were good with my kids n took their time cutting their hair they did an amazing job!!! The guy that cut my babys hair had patience when my four-year-old was moving around. They greeted us when we came in an reassured us that someone would be with us soon, and explain that certain Barbers only take appointments n that the other Barbers take walk-ins, they were very professional and everyone was nice. They have good prices only $14. I will be taking my babies back!!! My oldest son said he will not go anywhere else anymore since he found a place he absolutely loved, so we are sticking with them for now on.

They do good cuts but completely unprofessional. Wasted 2 hours waiting as they slid friends ahead in line. We finally walked out when 4 out of the 5 barbers were out back for 20 min while everyone waited. None of them seemed to want to be there and took ridiculous amount of time on each cut.

Great cuts, great people, both staff and customers. I have taken my son many times and no matter his age or style they all treat him with respect....and a great fade! Bonus is I get to play fooseball while I wait!

Ive been getting my hair cut by Brian for about a year. He always makes sure he fully understands what I want before cutting away. He does an amazing job for a fair price. The crew is upbeat and always have a positive attitude. If they ask if you have an appointment when you walk in dont take offense, its a busy place so appointments do come first. Walk ins are welcome but just know, this poppin place comes with a wait if you didnt make an appointment ahead of time. Looks like a hole in the wall but is pretty big when you walk in. Customer for life.

A barber shop that cant cut ethnic hair and treat our Veterans poorly. Poor customer service. Make you think you should make an appointment. Crappy uncomfortable chairs. Loud terrible music. Just terrible overall. I wont go again.
