Hello my name is JULIETTE RUBI I have been going to massage envy for three or four years right now. My massage therapist is Luis he is outstanding and he knows how to customize your massage. He also gives me some techniques that will help me with my pain that I have in my back. He is super awesome thank you for having a massage therapist like him I wish all of massage therapist would be like guys like him.

First time getting a massage from Adam and I’ve honestly never had a massage so good. My back didn’t hurt for three days witch is 21/2 days more than I usually am able to be pain free. Very happy with today’s experience

Very nice place. Great masseuse! Firm massage was great. One slight shortcoming, one hour massage lasted 55 min.

I love my massages here but am upset about your “don’t ask don’t tell” Covid policy. Please explain your position and policy an your employees being vaccinated. I hate to push hard on this but when I’m in a small room with an unvaccinated masseuse, I’m not comfortable with that.When I asked my last masseuse if she was vaccinated, she refused to tell me which basically tells me she was not vaccinated. And she wasn’t wearing a mask altho she offered to put one on after I questioned her.This lack of policy is unacceptable to me. I may be forced to end my membership as may others if this isn’t resolved. I’m not comfortable in a small enclosed room with an unvaccinated person. I would think this would be a huge legal liability for your business. Pretending this is not an issue is probably not going to end well.

Massages are great but DO NOT opt into a Membership! Massages ALWAYS cost more than what your monthly membership deduction is. Lots of fine print on services, and you still end up paying out the wazoo even with a membership not to mention their last minute cancellations.

I had an appt scheduled and they took me off the schedule without calling to even inform me i no longer had an appt. the Asst manager Derona was very unprofessional. The front desk clerk scheduled my appt 12/26 and remembered making my appt for 1/18. This would have been my first appt as a member. The asst manager stated I should have known that they do calls the day before to confirm. I reminded her it was my first appt as a member and I wouldn’t have known that. She stated that I should have known that.The person that was suppose to perform the massage extended his trip out of town. Week prior and they just removed me without notice.A mail massage therapist walked into the lobby and said “lady, it’s just a massage”. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I do not recommend them. I will never return.

Me and my husband have had a membership here for years and it’s convenient when you have busy lives and work allot. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is first they charge you a $10.00 transfer fee when you want to gift a one hour massage to someone. Second you can only gift once a month. Third you can’t gift the same person with in a six month time frame. Last is if you cancel your membership you lose all the months you have pre paid. So many rules, hidden fees and not convenient.

This business model seems to be built on making few therapists available and charging members’ credit cards every month for services they can’t book. Thursday—no availability. Friday—no availability. Saturday—no availability.If you have a busy schedule and can’t schedule a massage a month in advance, I’d be careful here. I’ve got ten massages sitting in my account that I’ll probably never be able to use unless I know I’ll be available at a certain hour on a certain day four weeks from now. Members can’t close their accounts without forfeiting all services in account. So that’s about $400 M.E. gets to keep without having provided a service.I guess it’s a brilliant business model if you’re Massage Envy. Not so much if you’re a customer who gets caught in this revolving door.

Booked a date and time for my wife and I. Got a call the morning of saying they could not do our massage. Apparently an employee called in sick. Couldnt tell you if the massage is any good because this was my first experience. This was a bummer because we had scheduled babysitting for a relaxing evening we never got to enjoy.

My husband and I went to our first massage session, it was amazing! The massage wasnt to hard to where your in extreme pain at least for me. Very relaxing, and relaxed the rest of the day and slept wonderful! My therapist was Brandon and my husbands was Caitlyn. Both very good, great experience all around! As much as Id like to go often I didnt do the membership because I cannot commit or justify spending the money if Im not 100% sure I would take full use of it, but any how we will be back! Thank you!

Years prior I had one of the worst massages of my life at a different location and never returned. However, this year I was given a gift card for a 60 minute facial and massage. Yesterday I went to redeem my facial and although relaxing, my esthetician started late and ended early. With a cancellation policy intact I would think it’s a matter of valuing time, but that is just not the case.

Excellent service. Receptionist courteous and informative. Massage Therapist, Ronnie, exceptionally knowledgeable, reviewed my medical limitations, and addressed my requests. 1 1/2 hour massage was 90 minutes long. Will recommend to friends and family. Will go back. DC

I have been a massage envy member for over a year and a half. I joined when I lived in NM, had a horrible experience, to the point of needing cortisone shots in my shoulder from the damage of a massage I received. Then moved to AZ. I was going to cancel the member ship but had an AMAZING masseuse there. I just now moved back from AZ to NM and went to the Rio Rancho location, to give it a try. Jason was my masseuse. I have now cancelled my membership as of today. This was the worse massage I have had. I am literally in more pain than I was when I walked in. I said less pressure and got more. I asked to focus on my lower back... which barely got touched. My feet got more attention than my lower back. Horrible. Horrible horrible. I will find somewhere else in this town. Obviously this city’s massage envy can not provide massage talent. I do NOT recommend this location OR the one at Rio Rancho.

Went for my first facial peel this week and after filling out some history and products I use on my face I noticed that there are some products they recommend not using for about 5 days before your peel. I was not aware of this and I wish they would had told me that on the phone when I booked my appointment. They did not let me reschedule because I was already there. The service however was good so no complaints on that.

I honestly do regularly have a great experience here, but this last visit was different. I had a massage in the first room on the right; I could hear people talking the entire hour. I dont know if that room is near the break room or what, but it was constant background noise.I also have gotten attitude over the phone when I said that I never received a confirmation call. They said they called and left a message in a snotty tone; they had the completely wrong number for me and hadnt asked about it until this last visit.Lisa and Mel give amazing massages however, and I would recommend them.

Massages were generally good. My card was charged $200 for missed payments in the middle of my payment cycle... which is understandable. I was up for cancelation, but while I was filling out the cancelation form another monthly charge was attempted. When I called they said they need ten days notice and wont cancel until all payments are up to date. So I am unable to cancel or use any of my massage credits still on my account. Im sure its all in the agreement signed, but very frustrating. Ive used massage envy on and off for years. It was unfortunate the account specialist was able to help me out here. Just be careful what you sign and be sure to plan out your cancelation date way in advance. Wont be going back or suggesting ME to anyone. There are a lot of great local non chain therapists out there.

Went get a massage and went a few minutes late for my appointment. I called them to let them know this. I walked in and the young lady wouldnt take me. I asked to reschedule. This massage was fully paid for in advance. She said if I wanted to reschedule, I would have to pay again. I asked for my money back and she said she couldnt refund my money, according to company policy. I told her that wasnt nice. She tilted her head to the side and just stared at me. I asked for the manager and she stated that she was the manager with a nasty smirk. I will NEVER, EVER go to Massge Envy again.

Requested an appointment online. Received a call the same day I sent in the request. The scheduling was a little adventure from: I dont have any more appointments requested on Saturday. without an offer for another day. I initiate the conversation about another time or day, which was greeted with an alternative time, then the I cant put another non-member there. We settled on a time, time to give a card to reserve the time - gave me CC numbers, which I was greeted with, Oh my machine just shut down. Is that [financial institution]s card?? Yeah, my machine doesnt like those cards. Placed me on hold, comes back on and says yeah Im going to need a CC to hold your appt. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Its not my issue that your facility doesnt accept my card or doesnt have a system when this does happen.. . . Never again.

I booked and paid for 90 minute massage treatment. I was taken back at 4:10, massage started at 4:15 and ended at 5:23? I listed that when I received my follow-up survey via email afterwords. And then received a follow-up call and was told that I paid for a 90 minute session and not a 90 minute massage.I was advised the session includes time to undress redress and consult with your therapist. However as soon as my massage was done the next client was already there waiting for their booked appointment.This is not normal practice for a massage studio as any other massage studio I have been to gives you a massage for the time paid.The staff is friendly however corporate is very deceitful with regards to their advertising practices. I wish I wouldve read the reviews before I committed to a year membership. Class-action lawsuit?

My husband and I have been members for a couple of years now. At first I was reluctant to get into a contract but then decided to give it a try. Glad we did as we have found a few therapists there that we love. Its a great value and I would recommend it to anyone. We travel for business and can use our membership at ANY Massage Envy which I really like that.Ive seen complaints about massage time. Its 5 mins on either end. They take you back at your scheduled time and end about 5 mins before end time do you can get dressed. If you know your therapist and you get undressed quickly they know that too. Besides...Considering the price I would say its still the best deal around and I can get in same day for my chronic pain issues almost every time.

The manager at this location is awful, the girls at the front desk dont know how fix my membership issues. I cant even begin to express how sneaky they are when you sign up for a membership, so many hidden fees and they dont tell you its for a year! Very poorly managed! When I spoke to the manager about my experience with this location, she basically said there was nothing she could do. I felt completely neglected. Its time for changes there and they dont care to make them, they only care about taking your money. I DO NOT recommend going to this location unless you wanna be out $1000+ dollars. I really hope corporate or the owner sees this and contacts me!
